“We can’t say enough amazing things about Renee, she was truly our angel during a very stressful moment while we were on vacation in Florida. The place where our dog was staying unexpectedly call us and rudely demanded that we pick up our dog immediately. Being out there of state with no one nearby to help, we were completely panicked and heartbroken. My husband remember about Rover and he find Renee, she responded very quickly asking the situation and accept our booking. Without hesitation, she stepped in and went out of her way to pick up our dog for us. She was incredibly sweet, caring, and compassionate, exactly what we needed in that moment. She treated our puppy with so much love and care, like he was her own, and kept us updated and send us pictures of him smiling and acting like he is at home. We are beyond grateful for her kindness and will never forget what she did for us. Thank you, dear Renee, you are truly one of a kind!❤️🐾”

We were super comfortable having them care for her during our long trip.”

“Hillary took excellent care to my cats while I was out of town. She was able to fix some issues with my automatic litter box while I was away and even thoughtfully brought in the mail so it didn’t pile up. I recommend anyone in the area and will be reaching out to her again whenever I will be out of town.”

About: All my life I’ve grown up around dogs, rabbits, fish, and most recently cats! So I’m no stranger to the cuddly, silly, and sometimes unpredictable behaviors pets can throw your way. I have experience volunteering at the Carroll County Humane Society working in the cat room to socialize kitties, and in the dog area providing them with enrichment activities! As a longtime pet lover and owner I understand that every animal is unique and has their own quirks and personalities, and I’m capable of learning your pet and giving them the best care I can! I always treat my clients homes and pets with care and respect. I’m sure to clean up after myself and the pets. I’m not just a pet sitter I’m also a house sitter so I’m willing to get the mail, take trash out, etc…
“Brooke did fantastic taking care of my cats while I was away! She made sure to keep me updated with pictures and messages of how they were doing. They loved their play time and treats while mom was away :) Thank you Brooke!”

About: I have been raised around and caring for cats since I was a kid, which has helped me develop a lifetime of affection and gentle care for kitties of all kinds. I am dedicated to a truly attentive, comforting approach, whether that means allowing a shy cat to set the pace of our friendship, providing gentle companionship to a sweet senior, or administering medications to special needs cats with a calm, reassuring touch. To me, looking after your cat is a devoted partnership rooted in experience, warmth, and respect for their unique personality and routine.
About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am a Graduate student, but I manage to take six- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. I am attentive and responsible for my pets needs, and take pride in ensuring that the animals I care for are happy and healthy. I have a nine-year-old mixed breed dog who enjoys her daily walks and sunbathing on the deck, but does not enjoy the company of other dogs very much.
“Abby did a fantastic job taking care of our kitty Marbles and our apartment while we were away. She always sent us pictures of her visits and made sure that Marbles was given lots of attention and cuddle/play time. You can definitely tell that Abby is an animal lover and would take excellent care of any animal. We will definitely be using Abby again in the future for any sitting needs!”
“Per usual, Sara was wonderful and very communicative while dropping in on our 3 cats for a couple of days. We know the house and animals are always in great hands with her!”

“Adrienne took great care of our cat for 4 days while we were away on vacation. She regularly sent us updates, photos and even a video! Also, everything was left very clean despite our cat’s continuous efforts to through all his litter out of the box :). We highly recommend Adrienne and would love to use her as a cat sitter in the future! Many thanks to Adrienne!”

“Maegan was fantastic! She showed up on time, everytime which is far different than sitters we have had previously. She was great with our dogs and they seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed her visits! Strongly recommend her!”

About: I've raised 2 daughters to adulthood and 7 cats over the years. I've dog sat for neighbors and answered local ads for sitting/walks. I have experience giving cats medicine and cleaning up messes.I love animals! I'm currently a stay home Mom looking for a flexible income while getting excerise and being my own boss. I use to own a business so I'm organized, responsible and dependable. I currently have 2 cats who I feed daily, one gets medicine mixed into her dinner wet food and she's on a diet. My other cat is free fed dry food all day because she has a fast metabolism and is a perfect weight, plus she gets wet food for dinner. Their litter boxes get cleaned every other day. So, I'm use to special feeding needs of fur babies.
“Sofia did a great job with our two dogs while we were gone for the week. She sent pictures every time she was there. She communicated very well and did everything we asked of her. Will definitely rebook and recommend Sofia.”

“Max was great! We felt at ease knowing our fur babies were in good hands while we were away. He exceeded our expectations and his love for animals is palpable 🥰 we will definitely rebook!”

“Tanya was great to work with and was great with our two dogs. Our dogs are a bit tentative when meeting new people, so Tanya was great with letting them get acclimated with her before leashing them. She is very responsive and easy to work with!”
“Lin took great care of my cat Pepper while I was out of town. She gave Pepper lots of attention on every visit. Lin even got her to take her medication on schedule. I am very happy with how well she took care of Pepper.”

About: For as long as I can remember, dogs have been a huge part of my life. With over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, I’ve learned that every pup is different and deserves care that’s just as unique as they are. For the past 7+ years, I’ve also been fostering dogs through local rescues. Helping dogs transition from uncertain beginnings into loving homes has been incredibly rewarding and has given me experience with many different temperaments, energy levels, and personalities. The idea of boarding dogs in my home came from a challenge I faced myself — finding a place that truly felt safe, loving, and comfortable for my own dogs when I had to go away. I wanted more than just a place for them to stay. I wanted them to feel cared for, understood, and treated like family. When your dog stays with me they will enjoy plenty of safe, supervised playtime in a large, fully fenced yard, giving them space to run, explore, and burn off those zoomies. Whether your dog loves active play or relaxing cuddle time, their comfort, safety, and happiness always come first. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. We’re used to having dogs around and all the activity and responsibility that comes with them, so caring for pets feels like a normal part of everyday life. When we don’t have any extras here, the house actually feels a little too quiet—like something is missing! I want every pet in my home to feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I try to keep their routine and familiar comforts as much as I can—if they sleep in the bed at home, they’re welcome in the bed here; if they love curling up on the couch, that’s where they’ll be. My goal is to make their stay feel like a vacation, not a kennel stay. I want them to feel safe, relaxed, loved, and right at home while their family is away.
About: I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with childhood dogs (Lab and a Scottish Terrier) and love all animals! I'm the go-to dog sitter for both family and neighbors as we have lots of extra room in our house and hearts, along with a fenced in yard. I can't wait to treat your baby like my own! My husband works from home and can let your fur baby outside as needed and keep them company. I love to cater to your dogs needs! Whether that's a game of fetch in the back yard, going for a long walk, meeting new friends at my neighborhood dog park, or hanging out on the couch, I'm just happy to have them around! I have a fenced in yard and a friendly cat at home. He keeps to himself for the most part. I also have two children who love to play with and respect animals as much as I do!
About: What sets me apart is the genuine compassionate care I bring to ensuring your pet feels completely safe, loved, and understood while you are away. I focus on creating a gentle, stress-free environment tailored entirely to your furry friends’ comforting daily routines. Beyond dogs and cats, I have specialized experience with the delicate needs of small animals like rabbits, and would be more than happy to care for pets of any size! I am a recent GW grad and I have a very flexible schedule. Aside from doing occasional tutoring sessions throughout the week, I am home for the majority of the day and have the time to dedicate myself to taking care of your furry friend! When caring for pets in their own space, my primary goal is to maintain their established routine exactly as they know it to minimize anxiety. When a pet stays with me, they are welcomed into a structured, highly supervised, and pet-safe environment designed to feel like a second home. I love all animals and want to make them feel safe in any environment!

About: I have owned dogs my entire life and have taken care of family, friends and neighbors dogs for many years! I work from home so I have plenty of time to spend with your babies. I work full-time from home with a flexible schedule! Getting out to walk throughout the day helps break up the day for me and your pup! I have a fenced in backyard and a 3 year old lab! I have a 5ft x 8ft kennel indoors and also have a few various size crates that I can use or you can bring your own! Dogs would only be crated/in the kennel to sleep (if needed) or if I am not home.
“I don't normally leave reviews... however... my labradoodle had a BLAST! The property is beautiful and very well kept and clean... Dan and his wife are totally awesome, caring and super attentive to my dog's needs. I was worry-free the entire day. I would highly recommend Dan for your pup's needs.”

About: I have over 45 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages as well as many other types of animals that have honored me with living with me over the years (cats, horses, guinea pigs, gecko, Madagascar hissing cockroach, parrots, flying squirrel, rabbits). My original dream was to become a vet so I have a background interning with veterinarian, working multiple years in a grooming and boarding facility and had my own very successful animal care and sitting business as a teenager. I have great nail trimming skills as well! Animals are naturally drawn to me and sense my love and respect for them. I work remotely so am pretty flexible with schedules. I also have taken the pet CPR course! I work remotely from home so am flexible in what I can offer. I feed my own pets multiple times a day and am able to monitor what is consumed. I also live in a beautiful community near parks for nice walks. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs who live next door who are always interested in playdates if desired. I work remotely so have flexibility in what I can offer clients. I do have a crate on premises if you do not have although I prefer (as do pets) for them to have their familiar one! There are friendly cats who live with me although I would likely gate off my kitchen / sunroom area where my office is so that I can supervise and ensure harmony with unknown pet if in my home.
“Ellen is great! She has a big heart and is an animal person through and through. We started out with a few boarding visits and now go to Ellen for day care every week. She’s very easy to work with and has a great location for dogs to run around/play/hike. Thanks Ellen!”

I will be continuing my education to become a veterinary technician! I care and love on your animals! I would love to be there for your animals and provide the care and love that they need!!! I do not have a fenced yard, and I currently have a bunny too. So it would be better to be at your home or if needed I can keep them at my house and can be caged if needed to be.
About: I have recently relocated to Frederick, Maryland from California after recently retiring & wanting to be closer to family <3 I have over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits, including senior and special-needs pets and animals requiring medications. I currently have a French Bulldog, four cats, and a rabbit of my own, so caring for multiple animals with different personalities, routines, and needs is part of my everyday life. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding and care instructions, providing walks and enrichment, and recognizing changes in an animal’s behavior or health. I’ve also volunteered with animal shelters in both California and North Carolina. I worked as a first responder for almost 14 years, I’m dependable, trustworthy, safety-conscious, and take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pets very seriously. I will treat your animals as if they were my own while I am trusted with their care. As a retired first responder, safety, responsibility, trust, and attention to detail are extremely important to me. 🐶😺🐰🏡🐾
About: Lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats and a horse and studying psychology in college. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. About: Ive been taking care of my neighbors, friends, and families pets for a little over 6 years now. Over the years I have learned many things about pets and how to calm them down and gently direct them in the right path. I also have lots of experience with senior dogs who need more attention to detail than younger dogs. Pet care fits into my daily routine quite well. Im a sophomore at frederick community college taking only one in person class, so my hours are almost always completely available! I am the dominant pet care taker in my home with two dogs (my angels). I care for pets in my clients home by greeting them and let them get to know me. If the client has a fenced in yard for me to take the dogs out and play thats amazing, but if not I take the dogs for nice walk to get them exercise and some entertainment. I am all for following directions so just let me know what you need and ill handle it!
“Jessie has been wonderful with our pup Sadie. She is a great communicator and texts updates if there are any changes to the schedule. It’s fun to see all the pictures she adds to the daily report. We appreciate all she does for Sadie.”

About: I've been taking care of dogs and sometimes a cat that my family had had for many years. In 2017, I got my first dog, Rowan, who's in my profile picture with me. Sadly, he passed away in March of 2025, but I was there with him every step of the way and tried to give him the best home and all the love any pet deserves. I have experience with potty training and some basic command training using voice tone, treats, and a consistent routine. When my dog got older and got sick, I had to adjust certain ways of doing things to help him be more comfortable and get him to eat and take medications, so I'm a bit experienced with those situations, as well as with a healthy young pet. I'm available every day, except for Tuesday-Thursday. I'm good with dropping by every 2-4 hours or even staying over for an extended period of time to watch and take care of a pet. If it is a dog I'm caring for, then I'll give regular bathroom breaks and, at the same time, incorporate exercise time for the dog (may give more time if needed/requested). I'll also feed and check on the pet as requested and discussed with the pet owners to ensure that the needs of the pet and what is expected of me are satisfied. If it is a cat, I'll engage outside or inside as requested, feed and clean the litter box, and even give a little time with the animal to ensure they don't feel lonely, and then either leave or stay as requested.
About: I will treat your pet as if it is my own and will make sure they stay calm and happy while you are away!! I have experience with older dogs and puppies! I can let the dogs run outside for a while in a fenced yard, I can take them on walks through the neighborhood, I can practice commands, or just give some snuggles.

“Monica took amazing care of our German Shepherd while we were in Florida. She was kind, responsible, and kept us updated, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dog came home happy and well cared for. Highly recommend her dog boarding service!””

“Ashley & Joshua have been wonderful. They are quick to respond, easy to coordinate drop off and pick up, share regular updates with pictures, and are extremely pleasant to work with. My dog, Roo, very much enjoys her time with them. I plan to continue booking with them and unequivocally provide my recommendation.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our puppy dog received from Jena! From the moment we dropped him off, we felt completely at ease. We received daily updates with videos and pictures, which were such a comforting touch and really showed how much fun he was having. It was clear he was being treated like one of the family. When he came home, he was happy, healthy—and completely exhausted from all the playtime and attention! We're so grateful to have found such a trustworthy and caring sitter. Highly recommend!”
