About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am currently on summer break from graduate school, but I take five- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. I am attentive and responsible for my pets needs, and take pride in ensuring that the animals I care for are happy and healthy. I have a nine-year-old mixed breed dog who enjoys her daily walks and sunbathing on the deck, but does not enjoy the company of other dogs very much.

I believe quality time for bonding, play and affection is just as important as food/potty breaks for pet happiness. The best part of pet sitting is the quality time spent with your pet after all the business is done! I have a flexible schedule so I'm able to make most times work. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.

About: I have a certificate as a vet assistant. I also have lots of experience dog sitting and even have a pet rabbit. I have taken care of younger dogs, as well as older dogs. I will be continuing my education to become a veterinary technician! I have all summer to care and love on your animals! I do not have a fenced yard, and I currently have a bunny too. So it would be better to be at your home or if needed I can keep them at my house and can be caged if needed to be.
