Lifelong animal lover!
I have never gone a day of my life without caring for an animal. I've had dogs and cats growing up, rode horses, helped on the farm, etc. I recently cared for my childhood Lab (day in day out) and she made it to 16 years old. I also fully trained my Mom's golden retriever from 8 weeks old. I have my own rescue dog now, and she has come so far in training! I have done a semester internship with a Vet Clinic as well. I truly love caring for and spending time with animals and will treat any animal with love and kindness, whatever their needs are.

My day genuinely revolves around animal care. My plans are structured around my dog, my vacations structured around my dog, my friends chosen by who my dog likes. :) My girl loves cuddling on my couch or in bed and loves having activities to do like puzzles, Kongs, frozen lick mats, etc. We love taking long long walks or hikes. She is my best friend and I treat her as such. She was a traumatized rescue who has taken a lot of time, and will continue to do so. However, I have given her time, attention, training, desensitization, ect. to ensure she gets the happiest and most comfortable life possible. I plan to treat every animal in my care with the same level of attention and love. The animal is always my #1 priority and concern, even before my own. My dog always eats before I do! I know every animal is different, and I am happy to listen to individualized needs, concerns, and requests to give the best care possible.

Alex was incredible! She was extremely professional and always on time. She sent us detailed communication and photos which made all of our hearts happy. She went above and beyond to care for our 3 cats and I couldn’t be happier we chose her to look after them. We would absolutely book her again. She was wonderful.
We truly appreciated Alex and her careful concern for our animals. Alex went out of her way for a concern she had for one dog. She also exhibited knowledge of animals and their special needs. I felt very comfortable with her care of our senior dog. I hope she is always available when we need someone in the future.
Alex was so amazing with our three cats. She followed all of my instructions perfectly, gave them lots of love and attention, and was able to give my elderly cat her medicine. Alex sent updates and pictures throughout our trip. The kitties were all healthy and happy when we returned. We will definitely use Alex again!
Alex took such wonderful care of our cat, Pusstachio over our 4 day trip! He has clearly fallen in love with her and it has been such a comfort to know she was taking such good care of him during our absence! We especially appreciate the speed of her response to our last minute booking request! She made time to come meet our cat before we left to get to know his routine. Alex was also so kind to bring in our packages and water our veggies during our trip- which was so very appreciated! 10/10 experience for both us and and Stache!
Did an amazing job taking care of my Bo and he had so much fun. She provided multiple updates with pictures throughout the day and was very attentive. 10/10 experience!
We have used Alex to look after our two big dogs many times. She is so incredibly good with them, it gives us peace of mind when we're away to know that she's taking good care of our babies. Alex is always punctual and our experience has shown us that she is extremely responsible. I should also mention that Alex has a firm understanding of our dogs body language and behaviors. I believe this helps keep them safe when out on walks in the neighborhood, and interacting (or not) with other dogs.

Planning
I currently work remotely full time, with a partial return to office starting in August 2026. I will be in office from 10-2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting then. I have very flexible days that allow me to step away when needed.
