About: Have watched family and friends’ dogs in my home for years. Currently have 2 family dogs of different sizes and ages. Range of experience. Lots of walking, playtime and snuggles. I’m home during the day and can adjust my daily schedule to the needs of the dog. My kids are in school during the day so it’s quiet during the day. I have a fenced in yard with room for dogs to play and take care of business. I have 2 dogs at home so your dog will never be alone. My kids and younger dog loves to play. The neighborhood is full of walking paths for walks.

About: I have recently relocated to Frederick, Maryland from California after recently retiring & wanting to be closer to family <3 I have over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits, including senior and special-needs pets and animals requiring medications. I currently have a French Bulldog, four cats, and a rabbit of my own, so caring for multiple animals with different personalities, routines, and needs is part of my everyday life. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding and care instructions, providing walks and enrichment, and recognizing changes in an animal’s behavior or health. I’ve also volunteered with animal shelters in both California and North Carolina. I worked as a first responder for almost 14 years, I’m dependable, trustworthy, safety-conscious, and take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pets very seriously. I’m retired with a completely flexible schedule, so pet care can easily be accommodated throughout my day. I’m available mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays for boarding, doggy daycare, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I have a fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and plenty of indoor space, including separate areas when a visiting pet needs their own quiet space away from my animals. “I had an excellent experience booking a 4 day stay with Varsha for my Cavalier- Chloe. Chloe is a shy dog who gets anxious in new places, and honestly does not like most dogs as they overwhelm her. However, she became a brand new dog at Varsha’s house. She was playing, having a great time, and became fond of Varsha, her family, and their dog. Varsha kept me updated on Chloe and sent lots of pictures, which helped me enjoy my trip. They made sure she ate all of her meals and monitored everything. Her dog Milo has such a calm, sweet demeanor and made for a great host. This ended up being a really good experience for Chloe and has actually made her more trusting and open to other people and dogs! I definitely recommend her.
