About: I’m a teacher, so during the school year I can board any time and care for your pet as you would while you’re working and during the summer I can give them my attention and am more flexible to house sit as well! I had an Australian shepherd so I am used to keeping up with the energy of any dog. I have been a reliable dog-sitter and walked for neighbors and friends for years. I am in an apartment but am always excited to get out and walk, plus there is a typically vacant dog park that I could use for some play and more space while I am boarding! Feel free to give me ALL the info to make you feel comfortable leaving your baby in my care. (I’m was a crazy dog mom who made emergency contact lists for my dog-sitter before) no judgement here! I’m a teacher, so during the school year I can board any time and care for your pet as you would while you’re working. My typical hours are 7-5. During the summer I can give them a lot more of my attention working part time 8-2 and am more flexible to house sit as well! I will always move at your pets pace, even if they’re a little nervous and I know how nerve racking it can be to leave your pet with a stranger. I’m hoping to make you both comfortable!

About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes, as well as a few cats, for years in a more casual setting. I usually sit for friends, family friends, and neighbors, usually through check-ins, and only a few times with boarding in my own home. I have two dogs of my own, ages 5 and 9mo who were both raised from puppies, so I have basic puppy training and grooming skills. I also have experience with dogs who need regular medication or who have specialized/specific diets. I am open to caring for any pets except birds, special needs/sensitive reptiles, and insects. I am currently a student at Penn State and I am looking for summer job in my hometown. I would most likely be free at almost any time during the week and would be open to over night stays as well with prior notice. About: I have two dogs of my own, and I am quite experienced with handling dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I have received training on how to better understand the signals that dogs give us in order to determine how they are feeling (scared, excited, cautious, angry, etc.), and I have applied that training to my previous job at a doggy daycare countless times. We were lucky enough to be her very first client on Rover, and we can already tell she is going to be wonderful. She took such great care of our senior dog, who can be picky about going outside depending on the weather. Rather than forcing the issue, she patiently tried to coax her out and, when my dog wasn’t having it, she simply stayed in and cuddled with her instead. Jess was wonderful with my little Aussie — she was patient when taking her for a walk and made sure she could romp around our yard, but also made sure her paws were clean when she came in.
