About: I have been a dog owner for 10+ years. I watch the family dogs when they are out of town. I have experience working with therapy dogs in healthcare settings. I have a flexible schedule and will be available as needed. I am punctual and will provide excellent service for your pet. I’ll help put your mind at ease while you are out of town. I am respectful of client’s pets and their home. I will clean up any messes made and will give the pet attention and care.
“Sarah is warm, friendly, punctual and reliable. She's so kind to the pets she cares for and she always sends great updates while we're away. All the things you'd ever want in a cat sitter!”
About: I’m a teacher, so during the school year I can board any time and care for your pet as you would while you’re working and during the summer I can give them my attention and am more flexible to house sit as well! I had an Australian shepherd so I am used to keeping up with the energy of any dog. I have been a reliable dog-sitter and walked for neighbors and friends for years. I am in an apartment but am always excited to get out and walk, plus there is a typically vacant dog park that I could use for some play and more space while I am boarding! Feel free to give me ALL the info to make you feel comfortable leaving your baby in my care. (I’m was a crazy dog mom who made emergency contact lists for my dog-sitter before) no judgement here! I’m a teacher, so during the school year I can board any time and care for your pet as you would while you’re working. My typical hours are 7-5. During the summer I can give them a lot more of my attention working part time 8-2 and am more flexible to house sit as well! I will always move at your pets pace, even if they’re a little nervous and I know how nerve racking it can be to leave your pet with a stranger. I’m hoping to make you both comfortable!
“We hired Katie again to take care of our pets while we were out of town for Christmas and she was great with our pets again! She always sends us plenty of pictures which is always reassuring. Highly recommend hiring her!”

About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes, as well as a few cats, for years in a more casual setting. I usually sit for friends, family friends, and neighbors, usually through check-ins, and only a few times with boarding in my own home. I have two dogs of my own, ages 5 and 9mo who were both raised from puppies, so I have basic puppy training and grooming skills. I also have experience with dogs who need regular medication or who have specialized/specific diets. I am open to caring for any pets except birds, special needs/sensitive reptiles, and insects. I am currently a student at Penn State and I am looking for summer job in my hometown. I would most likely be free at almost any time during the week and would be open to over night stays as well with prior notice. I would be open to set a meeting with you and your pet before house sitting or check-in dates to discuss schedules and specifics as well as to meet your pet. I am currently unable to sit at my own house. My contact info will be provided and I will be available for call at all points during my care for your pet.
About: I have had Dogs and Cats my whole life. I have also done drop in care and pet sitting as well as dog walking for friends and family. As many as 7 dogs at one time. I currently have 2 dogs myself, a senior and a 7m old high energy puppy! I am familiar with Basic Puppy Training, Bathroom Schedules, Feeding Schedules, Medication Administration, Play Needed for different Breeds as well as Leash Walking. I work from home with a semi-flexable schedule so I can be there as needed as long as it works around my very few set in stone meetings! I will treat every home with the utmost respect, and make sure every animal/family member is happy, healthy and safe with whatever services are needed.

About: I've always loved animals and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I previously owned a dog, which taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and attentive care. I've also pet sat for friends' and family members' dogs and cats, making sure they felt comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners were away. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I'm dependable, attentive to each pet's unique needs, and committed to keeping owners updated so they can feel confident their pets are in good hands I'm a teacher and have the summer off, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive care for pets. I live in a pet-friendly apartment community with access to nearby walking paths and green spaces, making it easy to provide regular walks, exercise, and outdoor time. Pets staying with me will receive lots of companionship, supervision, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. Because I'm home much of the time during the summer, I can closely follow your pet's routine and provide a safe, comfortable environment where they can feel relaxed and cared for while you're away. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I do not currently have any pets of my own, which allows me to give visiting pets my full attention. My townhouse includes a small fenced yard, and there are several public parks and walking paths nearby for exercise and outdoor time. I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment and closely supervise pets while they are in my care. I follow each pet's routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident that their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for
“Erika went above and beyond with taking care of our two kitties while we were traveling, communicating with us every step of the way, sending us adorable photos, keeping the cat areas clean, and even offering to bring in our mail. You can tell our cats felt so comfortable with her, even our one cat who is usually very skittish and always hides away from strangers. I would highly recommend booking Erika to care for your furry loved ones, and we will definitely book her again if we need a sitter in the future!”

“Aubrey was wonderful, responsive, reliable, and took great care of my kitty while I was out of town around thanksgiving! She went above and beyond to make sure the little quirks and preferences my cat has were taken care of (water from a sink, some time outside in an enclosed area, etc). Also appreciated the regular updates, the report cards through Rover, and the pictures she sent! Would absolutely recommend her and will use her for future kitty sitting needs! Thanks, Aubrey!:)”

“We LOVE Anhelika! She did such a great job watching our pup, Potter! And was super communicative! We will definitely ask her again the next time we go in a trip, and we know potter will be so excited!”

About: I have two dogs of my own, and I am quite experienced with handling dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I have received training on how to better understand the signals that dogs give us in order to determine how they are feeling (scared, excited, cautious, angry, etc.), and I have applied that training to my previous job at a doggy daycare countless times. I graduated college in December of 2016, and I’m still figuring out how to combine my Hospitality Management degree and my passion for caring for animals! I really enjoy dog walking because I find happiness in knowing that I provide comfort and peace of mind to those owners who aren’t able to be with their fur babies in the middle of the day!

“Maureen was wonderful. We felt very confident our cats were in good hands with her. She came in with a notebook and took notes about everything she needed to do so we had no worries our cats were well taken care of. She took pictures and sent them to us with every visit which we looked forward to every day. We would definitely use Maureen again.”
About: I’m an experienced and reliable dog-dad and pet caregiver offering walking and feeding services tailored to your pet’s unique needs. I’ve been a dog parent for 6 years to my sweet (and very high-anxiety!) pup, Lady, so I’m especially comfortable working with pets who may be shy, nervous, or need a little extra patience and care. Whether your pet is high-energy or low-key, I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Let me know how I can help! I am currently in Flight School here in Frederick so my schedule varies day to day; however, I am only ever “committed” to flying for approximately 3-4 hours a day, 2-3 times a week, so I have plenty of spare time to utilize. I have a high-anxiety dog at home myself so I’ve learned how to read dog’s emotions well and understand when they need their own space or perhaps they need a little extra love and attention to distract them or burn off some energy.
“I can’t say enough great things about Valerie and the care she takes with our little one. This last time she was very flexible and was able to add an additional visit because our need changed. I highly recommend Valerie.”

“Kasie did a fantastic job taking care of our two cats. She always made sure to refill & wash their water bowls, scoop the litter, and even got our mail for us. She also played with the kitties as well, with their favorite toys. And when we had to cut our vacation short due to sickness, she refunded some of the days for us! Can’t thank her enough ?”
Frederick dog parents share their Rover experiences
Shelby was fantastic. It was a pleasure to meet her briefly ahead of the planned visits. She took time to connect with the pups so she wouldn’t be “stranger danger” to them, asked about likes and quirks, and from the pics, they had a blast with her. Super communicative and we had a great, worry-free time knowing they were in her care. Thanks, Shelby! We’ll be booking again!

We were lucky enough to be her very first client on Rover, and we can already tell she is going to be wonderful. She took such great care of our senior dog, who can be picky about going outside depending on the weather. Rather than forcing the issue, she patiently tried to coax her out and, when my dog wasn’t having it, she simply stayed in and cuddled with her instead. That kind of patience and attentiveness means everything when it comes to an older dog. We could tell our girl loved her right away! We have already recommended her to a few friends, and we will absolutely be booking her again.

Sarah was absolutely wonderful with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bella! This was my first time using Rover, so naturally this dog mommy was a little nervous leaving my baby in someone else’s care—but Sarah immediately put my mind at ease. She was reliable, communicative, caring, and sent thoughtful updates with photos during every visit, which meant so much while I was away. I loved seeing where Bella was walked and getting those check-ins—it truly helped me relax and enjoy my trip knowing Bella was in such good hands. When I returned home, Bella was happy, well cared for, and clearly had been given love and attention. Sarah also followed Bella’s routine and special instructions, which I really appreciated. I would absolutely book with Sarah again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and attentive to care for their fur baby! 💚🐶
Jess was wonderful with my little Aussie — she was patient when taking her for a walk and made sure she could romp around our yard, but also made sure her paws were clean when she came in. She also made sure to check in on our other animals to make sure everyone had what they needed. Looking forward to continuing to work with Jess.
