About: Hi! I’m Genevieve! I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals and have been pet sitting and dog walking for about 13 years. Larger dogs are definitely my specialty, but I grew up with small dogs as well and am comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have extensive experience with rescue dogs, high energy breeds, and dogs with behavioral or special needs. I adopted my own pit bull from a euthanasia list and have spent years working through reactivity and behavioral challenges with her, which has given me a strong understanding of canine body language, patience, and maintaining consistent training routines. I’ve also worked with groups of dogs in shelter and pack environments, including living and working at a remote animal shelter in Greece. I’ve had five cats of my own throughout my life, so I’m comfortable caring for cats as well. I also grew up around farm animals and have experience caring for horses, donkeys, chickens, and other animals. I believe good pet care goes beyond the basics. I’m happy to dedicate whatever time is needed to make sure your pets are well cared for, mentally stimulated, enriched, exercised, and, of course, very loved. Whether they want to play, explore, practice their training, or simply have some company, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at! Pet care is currently my primary focus, so I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate everything from daily walks to occasional overnight stays. Because I'm actively searching for my next full time position, I have plenty of availability to give pets the time, attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. My goal is to keep your pet's routine as normal and stress free as possible while you're away. I'll follow your care instructions closely, pay attention to your pet's body language and individual needs, and provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. I treat every home with respect and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. My camera roll is already full of pictures of my own dog, as well as my friends' and family's pets, so you can expect no shortage of photo updates while your pet is in my care!
About: I love playing with dogs and taking them for walks or runs. I’ll make sure they have the best days ever! Can’t wait to meet so many dogs. I have off on Thursdays and Sundays and would love to fill my day by spending time with your pups!! I’m available any times during those days. I can come to your house and be sure to watch the dogs all day if needed and make sure they are walked, feed and taken out to the bathroom.
“Cassidy is a wonderful pet sitter! She was communicative and gave me frequent updates and pictures. You can tell she really puts the effort in to make your pet feel comfortable and happy! Very reliable and would highly recommend her!”

“Ryan was great with Theo and Gus while we were away. He kept us updated with photos and messages, which made it a lot easier to relax and enjoy our trip knowing they were in good hands. It was clear he gave them plenty of attention, exercise, and care. When we got home, both dogs were happy, relaxed, and acting completely like themselves. We'd definitely trust Ryan to watch them again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“We had a great experience! She stopped by twice to let our dogs out while we were away and was reliable, communicative, and very caring with them. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and absolutely love them. I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter since I was 10 where I specialized in puppies and adult dogs. I moved to Frederick recently and am looking to get my spend time with your dog until I get my own. Fun fact I also had guinea pigs growing up! I work from home and am usually available during the day to take care of your dog. I am available during the day, mornings, and evenings. I have experience with dogs with anxiety and medication needs. I have experience crating and potty training dogs as well. I did leash training with dog while I volunteered at the shelter.
About: I love pets, and a great walk. I just lost my pup recently so I think this would help. I have a genuine heart, time and patience for your pets. I have taken a pet through general puppy training, and I have also administered shots for an ill pup. I own 2 cats so I love a feline as well. ❤️ About me, I am easy going, trustworthy, caring and kind. I am very detail oriented and observant which I believe are key traits in caring for pets. And I’ll bring the treats! I’m very flexible currently, name the time and I can put on my schedule. I am in easy to work with, and will be on time I care for my pets as if they are kids. They have the bed, treats, food and all the snuggles they need. I did have a pet with diabetes and so I can do shots if necessary
About: I have taken care of not only my own pets for almost my entire life, but also I have helped friends and family with their fur-babie(s)! I even taught my dog her lefts and rights. She’s a smart little pup. 🐶 As of today, (8/11/25), I have a pretty open schedule and I will adjust my schedule on here, promptly, if my schedule changes! Feel free to ask any questions, I’m also willing to do some same day pet care, if needed! I plan to make sure during my time with any pet that they are taken care of in a safe, proper, and caring manner, whilst also following any specific instructions of my clients needs for their fur-babie(s) & their homes.

I can walk, bathe, feed, brush, play, cuddle, etc. I have experience with varying sizes as well as special care such as medication. I am available most of the time! I will also check leashes, collars, etc. to ensure walks will be safe. Ensure the environment is clean, safe, and nurturing!
About: I’ve mainly taken care of my own, and close family cats and dogs, but in the recent year or two I’ve helped my friend who uses rover walk dogs. I currently have full availability, which allows me to accommodate last-minute bookings, recurring schedules, weekends, holidays, and extended stays. I'm flexible, dependable, and committed to providing reliable, attentive care whenever your pet needs me. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment and maintain a calm, secure environment. My sister has a cat who is not comfortable around unfamiliar cats, so I am unable to host cats in my home. However, I am happy to provide care for dogs or care for cats in their own homes, where they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I will always follow your pet's routine, provide regular updates, and treat them with the same care and respect I would give my own.
“Kaila was amazing and we will definitely contact her again when we need someone attentive to watch over our fur babies. She has integrity, great communication, and understands it’s the small details that matter. Thanks Kaila!”

About: my goal is to provide the best pet, dog and cat sitting service. Read on for how I set out to be that special caregiver for your pets. I came to pets and pet sitting “later in life,” and discovered, with great gratitude, a passion and a gift for taking care of your precious animal companions… because that is what they are, for you and for me. I’m not a casual caregiver, or a friend; I’m not walking your dog or feeding your cat or talking to your bird as a favor to you or as a part-time job or hobby. Nor am I in a hurry to get out of your home, or to ‘fit you in’ between errands. My total focus is your two most precious possessions: Your pets and your property…all day long, usually 7 days a week! I’m a full-time professional pet sitter, dedicated to the loving details of caring for your cats, dogs, birds and even chickens! I believe that pets should be as happy with a sitter as they are when their owners are at home (or close to it!). As one Asheville cat owner put it: “I enjoy your notes immensely. I feel like you know my cats as well as I do after a few short days.”
About: I raised and trained a wonderful Golden Retriever from 8 weeks until he passed at the age of 13. I miss having a dog, but want the spontaneity to travel after recently retiring. I figured this would be the best of both worlds ~ loving on someone else's dogs and having the flexibility to take off when I want to! I am available most days. Please check my Rover calendar for availability. I am available for walks, play time, or pet sitting in your home. I am happy to provide your pet with what they are comfortable with whether it be snuggles, a game of catch, or a long walk.
About: Hi I’m Marleigh, and I would love nothing more than to care for your babies! I have 5 years of experience in caring for dogs, cats, and exotics. Including working as a kennel tech for 2 years. I have basic first aid training for dogs, and an in-depth understanding of dog behavior. Some other fun facts about me are that I have been riding horses for 19 years. (If there was a rover for horses I’d be on it). I studied photography in school, and I have two family dogs named Mabel and Theo! I work full time M-F in Ballenger Creek. I can sometimes come give mid day potty breaks, but typically I ask your dog is comfortable being alone up to 8 hours. I will make sure to ask all the questions about your pet upon drop off. Especially when house sitting I will be very thorough in getting all the details!

I can't say enough good things about Maureen! She has cared for my dog and guinea pigs, and she is a total gem. She was even kind enough to offer a visit to my home before we stared booking. She is always punctual, super reliable, and keeps me updated every step of the way. She has such a warm, kind energy that instantly put my pets (and me!) at ease. It is the best feeling knowing they are in such safe, caring hands. 10/10 recommend!
Shelby was fantastic. It was a pleasure to meet her briefly ahead of the planned visits. She took time to connect with the pups so she wouldn’t be “stranger danger” to them, asked about likes and quirks, and from the pics, they had a blast with her. Super communicative and we had a great, worry-free time knowing they were in her care. Thanks, Shelby! We’ll be booking again!

Sarah was absolutely wonderful with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bella! This was my first time using Rover, so naturally this dog mommy was a little nervous leaving my baby in someone else’s care—but Sarah immediately put my mind at ease. She was reliable, communicative, caring, and sent thoughtful updates with photos during every visit, which meant so much while I was away. I loved seeing where Bella was walked and getting those check-ins—it truly helped me relax and enjoy my trip knowing Bella was in such good hands. When I returned home, Bella was happy, well cared for, and clearly had been given love and attention. Sarah also followed Bella’s routine and special instructions, which I really appreciated. I would absolutely book with Sarah again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and attentive to care for their fur baby! 💚🐶

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter.
