About: I have two dogs of my own, and I am quite experienced with handling dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I have received training on how to better understand the signals that dogs give us in order to determine how they are feeling (scared, excited, cautious, angry, etc.), and I have applied that training to my previous job at a doggy daycare countless times. About: Hey there! I am a graduate student studying education, and I’m currently working for the local school system and in the process to become a full time teacher. I grew up with and around all types of animals my entire life. I am in tune to learning their personalities and what they each need and like to make them the happiest they can be! I no longer have pets (due to old age), but for many years I had two bengal cats who needed lots of attention and activity. Chloe is the kitty in the car photo with me. :) I am experienced around elderly cats and dogs, and frequently have delivered mediation to both dogs and cats of all ages. I am very active and outdoorsy, so active pets who need a lot of exercise are no problem. I also have experience around other animal breeds. I lived with family who owned large and small birds, horses, and chickens. And I grew up owning various reptiles. My schedule follows Frederick County Public School’s schedule. I work from 7am - 2:30pm weekdays. And I am off from work (other than teacher work days) on the same schedule students are off. My animals at home have a set schedule for feeding and daily walks and play! They sleep with me and do homework with me from school.

I promise to provide the same level of care to your pet as I would my own. I am a high school teacher, so I am currently available only on weekends.
