About: With over 30 years of pet care experience growing up on a small farm, I’ve had the privilege of caring for a wide variety of animals—from dogs and cats to livestock. My experience has given me a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and care needs. Living on 100 acres, I offer a unique environment where pets have plenty of space to explore and play in a safe, supervised setting. Unlike many sitters, dog sitting is my main source of income, which means I am fully dedicated to giving your pet my full attention, love, and care. Whether it’s puppy training, senior pet care, or just providing lots of love and exercise, I treat every pet like they’re my own! *I also offer a contactless pet drop-offs and pick-ups if needed for early morning/late evening pick ups(+$fee per dog). You can drop your fur baby off in my outdoor kennel, text me and I will be sure to come get you pup as soon as I can and move them inside or to the fenced in area! I prefer to do this after we have met in person at least once to show you the kennel drop off/pick up. Pet care is at the heart of my daily routine. As a full-time pet sitter living on 100 acres, my day revolves around providing attentive, personalized care. From morning walks and playtime to feeding, grooming, and cuddling, I ensure every pet gets the love, exercise, and attention they deserve. Since pet sitting is my main source of income, I have the flexibility and time to accommodate individual needs—whether it’s extra potty breaks, medication schedules, or play sessions. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are my top priority every single day. There isn't an option to mark for older kids, Rover considers under 12yrs a child. I have a teenager and my youngest is about to turn 12. They have been raised around dogs and cats their entire lives, also my kids and our cats have their own side of the house that is gated off from all dogs. We have some outside barn cats that are used to running and hiding from our own dog Nala. It's ok if your dog doesn't like cats-they are very good at avoiding cars and dogs. I provide a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for all pets in my care. My property includes a fenced-in area detached from the house, allowing for secure, off-leash playtime where pets can run, explore, and enjoy fresh air safely. In addition to regular walks and exercise, I also offer bathing services, with pricing based on breed and size. My priority is ensuring each pet feels loved, comfortable, and well-cared for—whether they’re getting their zoomies out in the fenced area or enjoying a calm, cozy space indoors. Please make sure fur baby is up to date on all their vaccinations, flea and tick meds.

About: I have 30 years of pet care experience with a wide range of animals. I have owned and taken care of animals including hamsters, rats, and guinea pigs as well as snakes, iguanas and your more traditional pets such as cats and dogs. I have also owned horses, cows, goats and other large animals as well. I am comfortable with medication management as well as taking care of puppies and senior animals. I pay close attention to changes in your pet's behavior and mood to catch any issues as quickly as possible. I currently own two cats and work full-time out of the house. I offer overnight sitting in your home any time, and weekend boarding in my home, when I am able to be there with your pet all day. I also am able to do drop in visits during the day for dog walking or to check in on your pet. In addition, my adult daughter lives at home and has a very flexible schedule where she can assist in care for your pet. Pets in my home are allowed full access to the house, and can sleep on both beds and couches. I have a large, unfenced back yard with a stream through it, as well as plenty of places for walks. I am 100% respectful of your home and space and will leave your home in the condition it was when I got there. I understand that pets are more comfortable in their own spaces and will follow any routines and instructions you have for their care.

About: I have been taking care of cats including my own since the '90s. They are fascinating creatures and I love to watch their personalities really come out when they get comfortable. It's my goal to have pet parents at ease knowing that they're furry babies are in good hands in their absence. I work full-time working from home on Mondays and Fridays, but I am able to stop in for wellness checks during the week first thing in the morning and in the late afternoon and offer overnight care when needed. I take special consideration when caring for cats to ensure there are no toxic plants around, no strings or dangerous toys And that they get plenty of love and affection to ensure they feel safe while their pet parents are away

About: Ive grown up in a household where pets we’re just as much of the family as I was. I’ve had birds, bunnies, turtles, dogs, cats, you name it. I have experience with most animals as I volunteered for a pet store, and have even fostered kittens. I grew up with three dogs and two cats, and have real experience with pets and animals. I just graduated high school and have lots of free time on my hands as I prepare to go to college. Animals are one of the things I love the most in the world and being able to take care of your pets is not just a job, but it would make my day. I have always gotten along with animals as my mom, who is an ex-veterinarian, has taught me all about them. To read their behavioral cues, and how to make them comfortable. I can ensure I can take amazing care of your pets while you are away.

About: Hi, I’m Suzie! I always had a dog since I was 12 and used to take them to walk, feed and bathe them. I even trained my dogs all by myself and teach them tricks as well. I’m a full-time stay-at-home mom to a wonderful 2.5-year-old toddler and a friendly standard-size labradoodle, so pets are naturally a big part of my daily life. Being home most of the day allows me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and care for your pet. Our home is filled with activity, play, and love—perfect for pets who enjoy company and a family setting. I work pet care into my daily routine by: • Frequent Potty Breaks & Playtime: Since I’m home, I can let dogs out often and provide outdoor time in my spacious (unfenced) backyard with close supervision. • Walks: I enjoy taking my dog on walks, and I’m happy to bring your pup along for fresh air and exercise. • Indoor Play & Enrichment: Toys, games, and interactive activities are part of our daily routine, keeping pets entertained and engaged. • Naptime & Relaxation: There’s also plenty of quiet time for rest and cuddles—especially during my toddler’s nap time. • Flexible Schedule: My flexible routine allows me to adapt to your pet’s specific needs, whether that means extra outdoor time, medication, or simply extra love and attention. Pets become part of our little family while they’re here, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared for throughout their stay! Pet Care Approach: Caring for pets is my passion, and their safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home , I strive to create a loving, attentive, and stress-free environment tailored to each pet’s unique needs. In My Home: I live in a single-family house with a spacious backyard (not fenced), offering plenty of space for supervised outdoor play and exercise. Since the yard is not fenced, all outdoor time is closely monitored to ensure your pet’s safety. Leash walks are also available for added security. Indoors, pets will have a cozy and clean environment where they can relax and feel at home.

My pups absolutely loved Bonnie. Even though we didn’t have a pre-meeting, as soon she met them for the first time, they were all over her and connected with no issues. Bonnie was very very patient and flexible with us and very much understanding to our situation. She helped us to watch 4 dogs while I had a serious surgery and my husband didn’t have enough information to provide to Bonnie what time to come and leave. As frustrating it was, Bonnie was very professional and showed understanding and dignity to our situation when my husband had to leave for the hospital. Moreover, Bonnie regularly posted updates and pictures to make us feel comfortable that everything is ok at home and our babies are doing great and under a wonderful care. We definitely recommend Bonnie. Thank you for taking care of our pups!!!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and absolutely love them. I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter since I was 10 where I specialized in puppies and adult dogs. I moved to Frederick recently and am looking to get my spend time with your dog until I get my own. Fun fact I also had guinea pigs growing up! I work from home and am usually available during the day to take care of your dog. I am available during the day, mornings, and evenings. I have experience with dogs with anxiety and medication needs. I have experience crating and potty training dogs as well. I did leash training with dog while I volunteered at the shelter.

About: Growing up, learning to take care of different kinds of animals was encouraged. From guinea pigs to horses, I have seen it all. Now living on my own, and having a dog and cat of my own, I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to take care of your animals. I have experience giving a wide variety of medication to both dogs and cats. I do my best to follow any schedule or instructions given by parents and to communicate as much as possible throughout the stay! I’m currently not working so I have plenty of time to care for your animals. I do have a dog and a cat of my own that I will need to stop to check in on during the day, but I do have someone who can stay with them during the night if you do need overnight sitting. I currently only offer pet sitting in the client’s home. I do my best to follow all rules and instructions given, I do prefer any specifics (feeding amounts, any medications, etc.) to be written down just so I can reference back if I need!

I only needed Kaila for two days before my permanent dog walker starts, but she has been absolutely amazing! She’s able to handle my high energy bigger dogs very well and they seemed to warm up to her very quickly. She sent tons of pictures and did great at keeping me updated. Would absolutely use her services again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
