Setting you and your pet at ease
As the go-to person for friends in need of dog care, I recently figured "Why not expand?", hence my decision to register with Rover. Setting dogs and their people at ease brings me joy! I've had two dogs over the past 20 years: one slightly demonic and requiring special precautions, and the other a big, gentle galoot. Both absolutely stole my heart. I'm available for walking (give me allll the exercise) and drop-ins (give me allll the cuddles).

Safety, trust & environment
Given that I'm away from home for a couple hours at a time with walks and drop-ins, I no longer advertise boarding or sitting. That said, if my dog (he's very chill) and your dog get along, and your dog doesn't require constant two-legged companionship, boarding or sitting might be a possibility.
Ratings and reviews
Jennifer is the best!

Jennifer is great, caring and fully reliable.

Jennifer was great with Barley and Wrigley! She was flexible with my schedule changes. She provided detailed notes about her visits. Both dogs were smiling in the photos she sent and looked excited to see her. I will definitely use Jennifer again!

Jennifer was so kind to gus on our first walk and we will definitely be using her more in the future! Calm, attentive and asked all the right questions.

Jennifer was patient and caring for our stubborn bloodhound. No complaints either when Reba found a skunk. She got her washed down and returned to us even better than when we dropped her off.

Jennifer was absolutely terrific! This was our first time leaving our dog, Archie, so we were naturally a little nervous. From the moment we met Jennifer, she was incredibly kind and immediately made both us—and, more importantly, Archie—feel 100% comfortable. Throughout our time away, Jennifer communicated with us frequently, sending thoughtful updates and wonderful pictures of Archie enjoying himself. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. We couldn't have asked for a better first experience with a dog sitter. Jennifer went above and beyond, and we would absolutely trust her to care for Archie again. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and professional pet sitter! Schedule
With advances in AI, I've recently shifted from working from home as a Chinese translator to focusing primarily on dog care. I'm an early riser (6:30 give or take), so early walks or drop-ins would be no problem.
- 0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsJennifer can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- I have a list of questions that I go through during meet and greets. For walking gigs, I ask whether the owner is comfortable letting their beloved approach people and other dogs, whether there are specific "triggers" (squirrels, loud sounds, etc.) I should be ready for, whether the walk is primarily for exercise or leisurely sniffing... For drop-ins and for walks, I ask about the specific commands used, treats, medications, "house rules", potty schedule...
