Setting you and your pet at ease
As the go-to person for friends in need of dog-sitting, I recently figured "Why not expand?", hence my decision to register with Rover. Setting dogs and their people at ease brings me joy! I've had two dogs over the past 20 years: one slightly demonic and requiring special precautions, and the other a big, gentle galoot. Both absolutely stole my heart. I work from home and am available for walking (give me allll the exercise) and sitting (give me allll the cuddles).

Jennifer was patient and caring for our stubborn bloodhound. No complaints either when Reba found a skunk. She got her washed down and returned to us even better than when we dropped her off.
Jennifer was absolutely terrific! This was our first time leaving our dog, Archie, so we were naturally a little nervous. From the moment we met Jennifer, she was incredibly kind and immediately made both us—and, more importantly, Archie—feel 100% comfortable. Throughout our time away, Jennifer communicated with us frequently, sending thoughtful updates and wonderful pictures of Archie enjoying himself. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. We couldn't have asked for a better first experience with a dog sitter. Jennifer is the dog whisperer. She understands crazy pups and sees the good heart in every doggie. She is great with our “smart” dog and equally great with our “not-so-smart” dog. 🙃 She also is wonderful with plants and any other living things. You’d be lucky to have her care for your animals and your home.

Jennifer has cared for my dogs many times. She will take care of all the details and enjoy your dog's company. Jennifer is a dog person. All my dogs have always liked her. My nervous dog would look her in the eye while she spoke reassuring words and sweet nothings to him 'til he felt comfortable. Aww, that's sweet. She'll be sweet to your pets too.
FIVE STARS! I've boarded our greyhound at various places, both kennels and private homes. Each time, Percy doesn't want to go in, tries to leave with us, and when we pick him up at the end, he can't wait to get out. Then came Jennifer. He was happy to go in, didn't care when we left him there, and when we picked him up, he acted like he'd be content to stay with her. When we put his leash on and headed toward the door, he turned around and went back to Jennifer for last scritches, as if to say goodbye and thanks. He might like her better than us.

Zeitplan
I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I'm around to give attention as needed, 7 days/week. I'm an early riser (6:30 give or take), so early walks or breakfasts would be no problem.

I have a fenced yard that would be secure for all but the most accomplished escape artists. Your pet would have full access to all parts of the house (including furniture). That said, if crating, furniture restrictions, etc. work better for you and your dog, I would happily honor your typical rules and routines.
