About: I have recently relocated to Frederick, Maryland from California after recently retiring & wanting to be closer to family <3 I have over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits, including senior and special-needs pets and animals requiring medications. I currently have a French Bulldog, four cats, and a rabbit of my own, so caring for multiple animals with different personalities, routines, and needs is part of my everyday life. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding and care instructions, providing walks and enrichment, and recognizing changes in an animal’s behavior or health. I’ve also volunteered with animal shelters in both California and North Carolina. I worked as a first responder for almost 14 years, I’m dependable, trustworthy, safety-conscious, and take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pets very seriously. I’m retired with a completely flexible schedule, so pet care can easily be accommodated throughout my day. I’m available mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays for boarding, doggy daycare, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I provide a safe, comfortable environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs and routine. I have a fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and plenty of indoor space, including separate areas when a visiting pet needs their own quiet space away from my animals. I’m experienced with medications, senior and special-needs pets, and will closely follow all feeding, exercise, medication, and care instructions. I will treat your animals as if they were my own while I am trusted with their care. My small Havanese, Lexie, stayed for 6 days. I was nervous as this was the first time she would be in someone else’s care for so long. Maria sent pictures every day and responded promptly to my questions. Lexie came home happy and healthy. I will certainly call upon them in the future. 🙂
Kacy and Justin were very flexible and responsive with us. I wouldn't hesitate to leave Filbert with them again. Our dog was well taken care of, had a yard to run around, and we received daily updates. Ours is an only dog, so having their friendly dogs around was good for helping to socialize him.
Zach continues to be my go to sitter for my two large dogs. He is extremely attentive and responsive. He keeps me updated throughout their stay. Dogs always let you know if they like a person! When we pull up to Zach's home my dogs jump right out and head to his door; tails wagging and super happy! Highly recommend.
Christina, her son Zachary, and their dog coco were amazing! Diggs came to her house with an upset stomach to start the trip and Christina was kind enough to even offer to take Diggs to his vet while we were gone if his stomach issues continued. She had a great introductory method for the dogs, she even took Diggs on walks when he isn’t the easiest dog around to walk as he is very reactive (he’s very nice but pulls and is mouthy). Diggs came back tired which is always a good sign for us that he had a great time! Would highly recommend trusting your dog with Christina and her family.
