I’ve also volunteered with animal shelters in both California and North Carolina. I worked as a first responder for almost 14 years, I’m dependable, trustworthy, safety-conscious, and take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pets very seriously. I’m retired with a completely flexible schedule, so pet care can easily be accommodated throughout my day. I’m available mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays for boarding, doggy daycare, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I provide a safe, comfortable environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs and routine. I have a fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and plenty of indoor space, including separate areas when a visiting pet needs their own quiet space away from my animals. I’m experienced with medications, senior and special-needs pets, and will closely follow all feeding, exercise, medication, and care instructions. So loving, attentive, and treated my dog as a part of the family while he was in their care. They sent frequent updates and photos which provided great peace of mind. Juan took great care of my pups while we were away for a few days — I received frequent photo updates, he took them on long walks, let them run freely at the dog park, and provided a comfy dog bed for their stay. I’m pretty sure my goldendoodle was disappointed to leave Juan and come back home, lol. When I picked them up they were the most calm, well-rested, and not dehydrated — it’s usually the opposite when I’ve picked them up from boarding or a sitter in the past. I’ll definitely book with Juan again in the future!
Emily was wonderful as always! Nini stayed with Emily for a week and we knew she would feel right at home with the excellent care that Emily provides. Laszlo spent his first consecutive nights away from us with Justin, Kacy, and their pups. It went great and he was well looked after. I cannot say enough good things about Nancy! She took such good care of my little one. I always get sad and anxious about being apart from my baby. Nancy was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. I knew Millie would be in good hands. Nancy wanted to ensure to follow Millie’s routine and to make her as comfortable as possible. She spent a lot of time with her and took her on long walks. She also sent updates throughout the day. Highly recommend Nancy! We will definitely be reaching out to her again.

Rachel and Jason were wonderful and accommodating hosts for our Aussie. I appreciate that they took the time for a meet-and-greet up front to make sure our dog would get along with theirs, and they were patient with her when she arrived very excited and barky. Also got to see another dog that they were hosting, and Rachel was super sweet with him. I'd go as far to say she's a dog whisperer! We received regular updates and photos to put our minds at ease. Would definitely leave our pup with them again.
