I’m retired with lots of flexibility, and care for one dog at a time—so your pup gets my full attention! I specialize in skittish, senior, and special-needs dogs. A client once called me The Pet Whisperer, and I strive to live up to that every day. Each stay begins with a Meet & Greet to ensure a great fit. I stay current on pet safety, first aid, and behavior through professional training. Caring for animals has been my passion since childhood, and friends and family regularly trust me with their pets—from daily walks to extended stays.

I cannot say enough good things about Nancy! She took such good care of my little one. I always get sad and anxious about being apart from my baby. Nancy was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. I knew Millie would be in good hands. Nancy wanted to ensure to follow Millie’s routine and to make her as comfortable as possible. She spent a lot of time with her and took her on long walks. She also sent updates throughout the day. Highly recommend Nancy! We will definitely be reaching out to her again.
Again, Nancy watched our little one and once again did a phenomenal job. She's our "go-to" whenever we need a pet sitter. I think our dog is actually missing her!
3rd time we've booked our dog with Nancy. We've already booked her for our next trip! She is amazing and our dog loves her. The only way to improve our experience with her would be if she moved next door. Knowing our dog is being well cared for makes our trips anxiety-free. In fact, whenever we begin planning a trip...the first thing we do now is check her availability. Great sitter who keeps us updated on her days with our little one.
Nancy did wonderful with Marshall for a morning doggie daycare! It was great to have them get to know each other before his longer stay next month. Marshall got a long walk in and I could tell he had a great time :)
Nancy was very warm and friendly. We had a lovely meet and greet at the park, then scheduled an overnight visit for Lexie. She kept me informed with pics and video so I could see how well Lexie was adjusting to a new environment. Nancy was highly attentive to Lexie during her stay. Would definitely call upon Nancy again! 🙂
Nancy really helped Ruby feel comfortable and was great at providing pics and updates! I appreciated the chance to do a meet and greet and Nancy’s flexibility around pick up and drop off times. We would definitely consider booking with Nancy in the future!

Schedule
My schedule adapts to your pet’s needs. I care for one dog at a time, so your pup gets my full attention, affection, and cuddles. I never rush—each visit includes time to bond, play, and build trust. Walks and drop-ins are unhurried, with extra time for love and connection. Pets are welcome on the furniture—just please ensure their nails are trimmed. Currently accepting recurring walks only.

I respect your pet’s routine and emotional needs, keeping a detailed log and sharing photos or videos for your peace of mind. A couple I’ve worked with for 3 years recently traveled to Europe, and my daily updates helped them feel confident their dog was happy, safe, and relaxed.
A typical day
I love walking and playing with dogs, keeping them safe, confident, and happy on the leash. I give plenty of time for sniffing, potty breaks, and praise—and bring a few fun, clean toys just for your pup.

- Please let me know your dog’s eating, walking, sleeping and play routines. I am home all day so can be attuned to their every need. If your pet has any oral medicine needs, or external ointment, etc., please provide along with directions. I will provide you with a log of all activities & meds administered, along with all appropriate observations of their behavior.
