I’m retired with lots of flexibility, and care for one dog at a time—so your pup gets my full attention! I specialize in skittish, senior, and special-needs dogs. A client once called me The Pet Whisperer, and I strive to live up to that every day. Each stay begins with a Meet & Greet to ensure a great fit. I stay current on pet safety, first aid, and behavior through professional training. Caring for animals has been my passion since childhood, and friends and family regularly trust me with their pets—from daily walks to extended stays.

Nancy did wonderful with Marshall for a morning doggie daycare! It was great to have them get to know each other before his longer stay next month. Marshall got a long walk in and I could tell he had a great time :)
Nancy was very warm and friendly. We had a lovely meet and greet at the park, then scheduled an overnight visit for Lexie. She kept me informed with pics and video so I could see how well Lexie was adjusting to a new environment. Nancy was highly attentive to Lexie during her stay. Would definitely call upon Nancy again! 🙂
Nancy really helped Ruby feel comfortable and was great at providing pics and updates! I appreciated the chance to do a meet and greet and Nancy’s flexibility around pick up and drop off times. We would definitely consider booking with Nancy in the future!
Nanci was phenomenal. We were very concerned about our dog Maisie, who has separation anxiety. Nanci listened to our concerns at a meet and greet prior to our 8 day trip. Nanci sent us daily updates and photos. She worked patiently with Maisie which helped with us having a worry-free trip.
Nancy was amazing with our extremely reactive dog Tucker. We were able to attend our Granddaughter’s wedding worry free. We received photos and videos and in each it was very clear that Tucker was content and well cared for. Nancy gave him his daily meds, had toys for him when we arrived and bowls for food and water. I was very comfortable leaving him and hope to have the opportunity to use her again in the near future.
I truly don’t even know where to begin with how wonderful Nancy is! My dog had recently become somewhat medically complex over the last 4-5 months and I haven’t left him since everything had started, so I was already so nervous. Nonetheless right before I was set to leave for my international trip his arthritis had a really bad flare and he was limping really bad. But I met with Nancy, we discussed everything and she said she was up for the challenge. Bentley loved his time with her, I was continuously at ease because she was constantly sending me updates. She was even amazing and was willing to take him to the vet for quick injections for his arthritis so he could stay on his weekly regimen to get it under control. Nancy is truly just the sweetest and was absolutely fantastic with Bentley and treated him just as if he was her own. I couldn’t have asked for anymore more perfect! I will absolutely be using Nancy whenever I need a sitter!

Schedule
My schedule adapts to your pet’s needs. I care for one dog at a time, so your pup gets my full attention, affection, and cuddles. I never rush—each visit includes time to bond, play, and build trust. Walks and drop-ins are unhurried, with extra time for love and connection. Pets are welcome on the furniture—just please ensure their nails are trimmed. Currently accepting recurring walks only.

I respect your pet’s routine and emotional needs, keeping a detailed log and sharing photos or videos for your peace of mind. A couple I’ve worked with for 3 years recently traveled to Europe, and my daily updates helped them feel confident their dog was happy, safe, and relaxed.
A typical day
I love walking and playing with dogs, keeping them safe, confident, and happy on the leash. I give plenty of time for sniffing, potty breaks, and praise—and bring a few fun, clean toys just for your pup.
