I grew up with dogs and cats. I am an animal lover, and since I was a child I felt a need to help animals as best as I could, whether it was a bird who couldn't fly, an abandoned kitten, or a lost dog. As an adult, I trapped and found homes for several stray cats, I got a dog from a rescue group and had 16 wonderful years with him. My fur baby died last year and since I am not able to get a new dog, I would love to care for other people's dogs and cats whenever I can. I also understand how hard it is to travel and leave your fur babies behind. I had to do it for many years with my dog, and I cried every time I had to leave him, even if it was with a trusted and loving sitter. Stay assured that your dog will get all the love, exercise, and attention he/she needs. I have a 5 year old and two older kids (12, 15) so your dog will need to be OK around children.

My pug, Django, loves staying with Linda. He was so excited to see her when we showed up to her place! This is his second stay with her. She’s always kind and friendly and I trust her with our furry little guy. Linda sends lots of photos and updates throughout the stay. Linda is definitely our go to Rover <3

Linda is wonderful! She responds so quickly and sends regular updates and pictures. She is very loving and caring with the dogs. She’s so sweet! I knew my dogs were being well taken care of while I was away. One of my dogs is a senior who has difficulty walking and Linda was great caring for her and carrying her when needed.
Linda was absolutely wonderful! I loved and appreciated the regular updates sharing how my pup was doing! You could tell she cares and loves each dog as her own and is attentive to their individual needs! My dog was also exhausted when she got home! A great sign that she had a great time!
Linda did an excellent job caring for our big pup, Duke. As first-time Rover users, we were a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but Linda immediately put us at ease. She kept us updated with plenty of photos, provided helpful feedback throughout his stay, and clearly took great care of him. We now feel completely comfortable using Rover and would happily book with her again.

Schedule
I am a teacher. I work from 8:30 to 4:00 M-F during the school year. I will be off for all holidays and in the summer. If I am watching a dog for a long weekend, I can go home for lunch and let the dog out. Dogs are never left alone for more than 4 hours. I live in a townhouse and I have a small fenced yard with a grassy area behind it, but I also love to walk them around the neighborhood. My kids love to help and play with the dogs too.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will be allowed everywhere in the house and will be part of our family during his/her stay. My problem is that I get attached to each dog and it's always hard to say goodbye!
A typical day
I love to walk dogs. Your dog will get all the exercise he/she needs. When I am home, they get to go out as much as they want.
