I am happy to discuss needs with pet parents and adapt as requested. My baseline care is to lead with love, and listen to the animal to pick up on their cues. I understand when to give love, and when to take a step back and give space.

I like to know what an animal's personality is like so we can start off on a positive note. I also would like to know if they have any special needs while feeding, walking or playing.

I take my cues from the animals themselves and I enjoy playing fetch, tug of war, find the toy and other games of their choosing. One of my favorite games to play with my own dog is "find the squeaky donut". She likes to try and peek to see where I hide it, but she doesn't really need to since she always finds it. My cat likes to try and catch things so we play with any type of string or toy that I can move and he can chase.

I have raised dogs for decades, and love my animals more than anything. Currently, I have a golden retriever and a tuxedo cat. I am a teacher who is looking to fill my summer with more animal love!
