About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am currently on summer break from graduate school, but I take five- mile walks every morning year-round. About: I have a variety of experience with dogs of every age, breed, and temperament. A few years ago, I cared for my senior dog and helped him with mobility, comfort, and daily medical routines. Now, I’m caring for two young dogs (ages 2 & 3) that I’ve trained myself from when they were puppies. I cannot say enough good things about our pet sitter! Summer is a genuine animal lover and took excellent care of my two cats (Tigger & Hurricane) and my bearded dragon (Thorn) while I was away. It gave me so much peace of mind to know that my pets were in such capable hands. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about each animal’s individual needs. Tigger & Hurricane were happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I returned, and Thorn received wonderful care as well—which can be especially important when caring for reptiles with specific feeding and habitat needs. I also appreciated the updates and communication throughout my trip. It was obvious that my pets were receiving lots of attention and care, and I never had to worry about how things were going at home. Summer also has a wonderful, friendly personality, and I would absolutely trust her with my pets again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and knowledgeable pet sitter.
