“This is the first time I used Rover and I’m impressed. We only needed a drop in for Lucy and Ginger, but Justine did a great job, especially dealing with an over exuberant 4 month old puppy that’s not quite potty trained and an older dog that does not warm up immediately to new people.”

“Lauren took extra special care of my cat. She took the time to meet ahead of my trip out of town and followed all my requests. She communicated daily and went above and beyond what I’d expect when caring for my cat. I will definitely ask her back!”

“We appreciate Elspeth's help in taking care of our chocolate lab Ziggy while we were on a day trip. She is an excellent communicator and very conscientious, and it was clear she did a fine job taking care of Ziggy's needs for a potty break, food, and play. She will be our go-to sitter whenever she's available.”

About: I've raised 2 daughters to adulthood and 7 cats over the years. I've dog sat for neighbors and answered local ads for sitting/walks. I have experience giving cats medicine and cleaning up messes.I love animals! I'm currently a stay home Mom looking for a flexible income while getting excerise and being my own boss. I use to own a business so I'm organized, responsible and dependable. I currently have 2 cats who I feed daily, one gets medicine mixed into her dinner wet food and she's on a diet. My other cat is free fed dry food all day because she has a fast metabolism and is a perfect weight, plus she gets wet food for dinner. Their litter boxes get cleaned every other day. So, I'm use to special feeding needs of fur babies.
“Ameneh was so easy to work with! She provided great daily updates on our loves as well as an unexpected update on our home- a neighbors tree fell and blocked our driveway! Our little loves were well cared for and I will definitely look to book her again!”

“Christa has a way with animals - my cats liked her immediately when she came over to meet them before my trip. She sent pictures every day. Seeing that all was well helped me relax and enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with my family!”

“Abby was absolutely wonderful! I needed someone on very short notice, and she was quick to respond and able to help without hesitation. She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire visit, sending updates and giving me peace of mind that my dogs were well cared for. It's clear she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after, and I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in her hands. I would highly recommend Abby to anyone looking for a reliable, responsive, and caring Rover dog walker. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Nicole always goes above and beyond while watching my fur babies. Even my shy kitty Fluffy has loves her and looks forward to her visits. I forgot about a huge Chewy autoship order that arrived while I was away. Nicole even brought that in - thank you! She always sends me wonderful pictures and videos of my boys during her visit - makes me happy to know they are well cared for and lucky to have found such a nice sitter. Look no further - book her :)”

“Max was great! We felt at ease knowing our fur babies were in good hands while we were away. He exceeded our expectations and his love for animals is palpable 🥰 we will definitely rebook!”

“I appreciated Keira's cheery disposition and professionalism. She was quite knowledgeable about animals in general because of her regular profession and that helped put me at ease. I would book with her again.”

“Miriam took great care of our cats and we appreciated all the photos and updates. She was very responsive and easy to book with, even though we requested last minute due to our pet sitter cancelling before our 2+ week trip.”

“Kenneth always takes great care of our cat, Bandit. He is flexible and easy to work with. We have used him several times and will definitely book him again in the future!”

About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am a Graduate student, but I manage to take six- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. I am attentive and responsible for my pets needs, and take pride in ensuring that the animals I care for are happy and healthy. I have a nine-year-old mixed breed dog who enjoys her daily walks and sunbathing on the deck, but does not enjoy the company of other dogs very much.

About: With over seven years of professional experience in animal care, I’m passionate about providing safe, compassionate, and reliable care for every pet I meet. In your home, I’ll respect your space, follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, provide plenty of updates with photos, and make sure your home is left just as I found it. If your pet is staying with me, they’ll have a clean, safe, and calm environment with constant supervision, plenty of enrichment, exercise, fresh water, and lots of affection. With my background as a doggy daycare manager, veterinary assistant, and professional pet sitter, I’m experienced in recognizing changes in behavior or health, administering medications when needed, and responding calmly in unexpected situations. My goal is to build a trusting relationship with both you and your pet, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing they’re in caring, experienced hands while you’re away.
About: I have worked with pets since I started working at all. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and would be happy to take care of yours. Currently I do not have another job and I only plan on going back to school later in the year so I have plenty of free time to care for your pets. I love walking dogs and caring for cats so much. I have walked many kinds of dogs of many different sizes and temperaments especially as an animal caretaker at the behavioral center in the San Diego humane society. Safety is important to me and I will make sure your pets are safe and well cared for.

We have been working with Brooke for 3 weeks and we will continue to work with her! She’s very easy to communicate with and I think Theo really likes her! All the pictures from the visits Theo looks so happy. We will continue to book her to work with our puppy

Alex was great! She took great care of our dog, and was generous with her time and communication which was appreciated because we were nervous leaving the pup for the first time since moving to the area. Our dog is a cuddler who clearly adopted Alex happily into the pack. Would definitely recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about our pet sitter! Summer is a genuine animal lover and took excellent care of my two cats (Tigger & Hurricane) and my bearded dragon (Thorn) while I was away. It gave me so much peace of mind to know that my pets were in such capable hands. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about each animal’s individual needs. Tigger & Hurricane were happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I returned, and Thorn received wonderful care as well—which can be especially important when caring for reptiles with specific feeding and habitat needs. I also appreciated the updates and communication throughout my trip. It was obvious that my pets were receiving lots of attention and care, and I never had to worry about how things were going at home. Summer also has a wonderful, friendly personality, and I would absolutely trust her with my pets again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and knowledgeable pet sitter. Five stars all the way!

Leslie was awesome! She was able to come help us with short notice and even made the time to come by and meet our pup before dropping in on him. We could tell he felt comfortable with her right away and had a great time playing in the yard. We would definitely hire Leslie again to drop in our dog.
