About: I grew up with multiple pets, including two cats in my childhood and a wonderful dog that I helped care for in her seniority, so I've been familiar with animals all my life. Currently, I own and aided in training a high-maintenance, special needs German Shepherd. He's a sweetheart, but he's definitely a commitment! Given his intensely anxious nature, he needs a patient hand to calm him often. He's also epileptic, so I am well practiced in attentiveness, administering medication, following specialized meal plans and the like if needed. I have also done pet and house sitting on many occasions, particularly for family and friends but for a wide variety of pets– from little dogs that didn't even reach my knee, to my own Shepherd, who stands just about as tall as my hip. I've house kept for up to a week, entertaining young dogs and going on daily walks, etc. I am always happy to be introduced to new little ones and have a high pain tolerance when it comes to their claws, so I don't mind when they get a bit rowdy, either! High energy or low, I will gladly make time for any fluffy friends who need a watchful eye. I am currently on track to earn a Bachelor's in the Arts from Towson University, which is about a 50 minute commute from my home. With this in mind, my current class schedule entails that Towson days are essentially unavailable; however, the rest of the week, I'm generally left plenty of room to take on pet care! Life is always busy, and while sometimes I wind up with too many commitments to do it regularly, I'll always make time for it when I can. Though my own home may not be an ideal place for another pet to spend nights due to my Shepherd's nervousness, I will gladly offer my time to visit others. I have previously found myself curled up on a couch with a pet I was taking care of overnight, or even falling asleep on the floor with them. So long as their pet parents are happy for me to do so, I will gladly stay wherever is most comfortable for the pet involved, and take food/water/sleeping arrangements where they are best suited. I also have a fair sense of direction, so I'm perfectly content on walks in unfamiliar places, especially when I have friendly doggos with me!

About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and grew up with dogs, so being around them has always been a big part of my life. I’ve dog sat and house sat for friends and family for years, and I’ve also helped friends who foster dogs take care of their puppies. I currently have two dogs of my own that we rescued from Saint Martin in 2023, and I absolutely adore them. They’re a huge part of my life, and I’m so thankful we were able to give them a loving home. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to adjust to whatever makes yours happiest and most comfortable. Whether that means walks, playing outside, lots of attention and belly rubs, or just hanging out on the couch, I’m there for it! I’m currently in between careers, which gives me a pretty flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. I do have a few other small jobs and am occasionally away on weekends, but my schedule varies and I’m generally pretty open. About: I grew up on a farm so I have had animals of all sorts since I was little. I ran an equine boarding facility for 2 and a 1/2 years caring for up to 25 horses at a time. I am currently halfway through my degree to become a vet technician. My husband and I own 3 horses 2 dogs 4 cats and and 4 fish. I love taking our dogs for walks and hiking. Our cats enjoy playing with toy mice, the laser point, and eating treats 😋 We foster cats, so I have dealt with cats of all shapes and sizes! I also have worked with dogs that have a more aggressive/cautious personality. I am willing to work with them as well! Your animals will be in great hands! 😊 I currently work part-time so late morning to late afternoons are the best! My classes are in the evening and we take our dogs on walk in the morning before my husband goes to work. Midday walks and dropins are perfect!
