About: With over 20 years of hands-on experience, caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s been a lifelong passion. From a young age, I’ve been surrounded by animals and have dedicated my life to understanding and supporting their needs. I am a certified veterinary assistant and have worked professionally as a veterinary technician in a veterinary office in Utah, giving me a strong medical background and the ability to recognize and respond to a wide range of health and behavioral concerns. My experience also includes working in multiple kennels across many states where I cared for both dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. This has given me the skills to handle everything from energetic puppies to senior pets requiring extra patience and care. At home, I’m a proud pet owner myself. I have a 13-year-old Chihuahua that I’ve raised since he was a puppy, as well as an 11-year-old pit bull mix I rescued from a shelter in 2017, and my beloved cat I adopted in 2023. My own pets have given me firsthand experience with aging animals, rescue care, and the importance of providing a safe, loving environment. When you trust me with your pet, you can feel confident knowing they will be treated like family—with compassion, experience, and the highest level of care. I am open most days, as I homeschool my child. Saturday afternoons are usually reserved for personal time but I am available in the morning and night. I can let your dog out in your back yard, take them for a walk, clean litter boxes, do playtime, give food, water, and medications on their schedule.

About: I will treat your pet as if it is my own and will make sure they stay calm and happy while you are away!! I have experience with older dogs and puppies! I am available almost all summer.I am a full time college student working on my Bachelors of science but I am home for the summer. Pet sitting can be fit into my schedule as needed. I can let the dogs run outside for a while in a fenced yard, I can take them on walks through the neighborhood, I can practice commands, or just give some snuggles.

About: I’ve been both cat and dog sitting independently since middle school, and I thought Rover would be a great opportunity while I’m in still in college! I am currently a full-time online student so I’m available to take care of you pets anytime! I have a very open availability and can most likely make anything work! I have two dogs of my own who love meeting new friends, and a very safe fenced in backyard with more than enough room to run! As for your home, I can work with anything!

About: I am very kind and peaceful. I know how to approach and introduce myself to pets I've never met. I was raised with dogs and cats in my childhood home and I have been blessed with four dogs of my own and one cat throughout my adult life. My last dog, Cody (a Boston Terrier), passed in September 2016 and since then I enjoy cuddling, nurturing, and playing with my own grandpups (3) who are very happy and excited when they come for sleepovers at my house frequently. I am a business owner working from home which allows a flexible schedule for me and I have the ability to meet client's pets' needs easily because the work I perform is not 9-5. I live in a house on 1/2 acre with a fenced back yard. There is plenty of safe play room for pets. They will have free reign for stays in my home depending on their behavioral needs, just as my own dogs experienced during their lives. I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood where I am able to walk dogs by wooded areas and small fields, and also can take them to terrific nearby parks for outside time.

About: Lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats and a horse and studying psychology in college. I believe quality time for bonding, play and affection is just as important as food/potty breaks for pet happiness. The best part of pet sitting is the quality time spent with your pet after all the business is done! I have a flexible schedule so I'm able to make most times work. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.

About: I have always had a cat and dog of my own growing up but I love all animals big and small. Whenever my family, friends, and neighbors need pet care I am always their first call! I always feed my pets, take them to the vet, and give them plenty of love especially when I am home from college for the summer. I have walked, fed, and cared for animals of many kinds. I love keeping them company while their owners are busy and I am willing and able to clean up after them.

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. I have previous work experience at a kennel. Most importantly, I am certified in pet CPR and First Aid. I am currently a college student, so my summer is completely free for all your animals. If you would like to schedule a meeting with me beforehand let me know! I have a 3 acre yard with an invisible fence. My neighborhood is a very nice place to take walks in. I also believe your pets should be comfortable, so if I come to your home I will make sure to take care of everything.

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life and have experience taking care of animals as small as fish to as big as horses. I’ve also taken care of old dogs with special health needs and puppies. Just moved to the area so looking to pick up some new clients as I look for a more full time job. My availability may fluctuate as this happens but I’m happy to work with you as best as I can through any changes! With all pet care I always follow instructions to a T and am quick to notice if something is off with a pet. With overnight sitting I also tend to make sure the house stays neat and pets get lots of attention.

About: I’ve never dog sit for someone else before but I would love the opportunity to do so! I have two dogs of my own so I know how to take care of them, give them their proper food, and take them on long and short walks! :) Im currently working part time at my job so for the most part i’m available! Best days and times for me would be Thursday, Friday, and the weekends preferably in the late morning, afternoon, or evening! At my house we have a lot of gates and fenced off areas so that they won’t pee or make messes. If needed I can easily do so! I can also try to feed them specific foods you might have and such.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for family and friends for the past 3 years, but I have been taking care of dogs for my whole life. I have experience with dog training as I trained dogs for dog shows. I don’t mind cleaning up and keeping the space tidy. I also love sending cute pictures of your babies when they’re under my care. I’m currently a college student, but over the summer I do research twice a week, so I am free most weekdays and weekends. I have plenty of time to do dog walks or spend a day with your pet while you are out. For multiple days, it depends on the dates and how long I can be away from your pet (ex. A cat) if it’s on a day I have to work my lab. I like to follow the instructions clients give me precisely and appreciate receiving detailed instructions. I love hanging out with your pets and playing with them. I like to keep their daily routine as close to their normal as I can, keeping them healthy and happy.

About: Hi!! My name is Sydney, I’m 23 years old and I’m a student physical therapist at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Being a full-time student it hasn’t been ideal for me to have a scheduled job, so I love when I get the opportunity to dog/cat sit for my friends and family when needed. My boyfriend and I have a cat of our own named Scarlett, who we love to spoil on the daily. I am very flexible on the weekends and would love to have the opportunity of taking care of your furbaby! I am a full-time grad student during the week, however, my weekends are always very flexible. I would love to have your pets accompany me in my relaxing free time! I don’t mind having pets up on my couch/bed, as long as it’s not a rule in your home to keep them off the furniture. My boyfriend and I live in a home with minimum yardage, however, we live in the heart of Mount airy, with a beautiful downtown area near parks to take dogs for walks!
