About: I’ve had quite a lot of pups in my life! I have rescued 5 dogs from the street and got 4 rehomed! The first who I rescued, Paisley, was thrown out of a truck and I raised her in a dorm room! She needed lots of medicine so I can perform any medical treatment needed! And I also get the ups and downs of raising a puppy! I am a professional athlete and love that Rover lets me fit jobs into my schedule! I have always loved animals so this was something that never felt like work! Because of all my animals here, I tend to go to your place! I can make frequent stops or stay the night! Small animals I do take here!

About: Lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats and a horse and studying psychology in college. I believe quality time for bonding, play and affection is just as important as food/potty breaks for pet happiness. The best part of pet sitting is the quality time spent with your pet after all the business is done! I have a flexible schedule so I'm able to make most times work. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. I have previous work experience at a kennel. Most importantly, I am certified in pet CPR and First Aid. I am currently a college student, so my summer is completely free for all your animals. If you would like to schedule a meeting with me beforehand let me know! I have a 3 acre yard with an invisible fence. My neighborhood is a very nice place to take walks in. I also believe your pets should be comfortable, so if I come to your home I will make sure to take care of everything.

About: Hi my name is Fran. I’m a mostly stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 3 year old and 6 year old and 1 year old. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and an outside cat. Both me and my husband have owned dogs all our lives, and experienced in animal care. Professionally, I’ve worked as a barn manager, dog groomer, dog walker, trainer, and dog handler for an Iditarod musher! I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and absolutely love it!!!! I care greatly about dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of with plenty of love and exercise. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash a one year old Australian Shepherd and Littles a 15 year old Boston terrier mix. Both love to play!! Cash is still a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 15 and recently lost his sight He’ll try to keep up with Cash but mostly just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy (the love of my life) in their late twenties, some chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. Including injections I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

About: Growing up, I have had several and feel very comfortable with most breeds and their distinctive traits. I am a believer that pets are just like children. They needs lots of love, attention and constant care. Because of my experience, I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing and caring for your dog. Our schedule is very flexible so it's easy for us to be there for your dog. We go on several walks a day, giving them a chance to go potty and enjoy playing with them to make sure they feel loved and secure while they're with us. Because we live on a 600 acre property, safety is our top priority. When we are taking walks with your dog, we will take every precaution necessary to ensure your dog is safe. You can bring your dog's favorite toys or blankets, however we have everything your dog would need to feel at home with us. I wash everything after each visit to make sure all of our things are clean for the next fur baby. We have food and water bowls, toys, beds, blankets, crates and even leashes. We want to make it as convenient as possible for you while ensuring your dog is comfortable with us.

About: I have experience working in a doggy daycare/boarding kennel for over a year, where I played with, loved on, fed, and took extremely attentive care of over 100 dogs a day. I also have dog-sat for the same two families multiple times every year since 2020. I am a college student who is at home for the summer! I am available at all or anytime you need me, unless I have a prior arrangement which I will communicate to all clients if need be! Just reach out and I’ll let you know! 😉 In my home, I have two dogs who I am constantly paying attention to, caring for and giving a lot of love to. And other people’s homes I keep an eye on all of the dogs that I take care of, and tend to never let them out of my sight (I also make sure they get all the loving as I would my own dogs). I love to play with dogs and get all of their energy out so when families get home they don’t have much work to do. and other people’s homes I also keep a very tidy space and leave every place cleaner than I found it!

About: I have a variety of experience with dogs of every age, breed, and temperament. A few years ago, I cared for my senior dog and helped him with mobility, comfort, and daily medical routines. Now, I’m caring for two young dogs (ages 2 & 3) that I’ve trained myself from when they were puppies. Along with personal experience, I have school-based veterinary training, including first aid, administering medications, and knowledge with health concerns. I also spent a year working as a professional dog walker at a boarding facility to learn professionalism. Overall, I have a mix of compassion, knowledge, and training to give every pet the proper care. I am a student currently, so I’m available anytime from 3pm-10pm on weekdays or anytime from 7am-10pm on the weekends. I give myself a wide range of availability so I am able to take longer visits, multiple walks, and provide more flexibility in scheduling. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I follow their routines exactly, pay close attention to their comfort, and make sure they feel happy. On walks, I use secure leashes and stay attentive at all times. In client homes, I’m careful with doors, gates, and belongings, prioritizing pet safety. My goal is to create a safe, caring environment where I can build trusting relationships with each pet.

About: 13 years experience in animal welfare. I was a previous animal control officer and also work in the animal shelter as an animal care technician. I have an abundance of animal care knowledge and love for animals. I’m currently unemployed as I just moved to the area and waiting to start working at a new shelter, so I have plenty of free times As someone who was a previous animal control officer, I always make sure animals are in a safe environment since they would be in my care

About: I have a medium sized boxer and used to have a large boxer. While I don’t have dog sitting experience, I love dogs (especially big dogs) I am a full time student, graduating in May. So while I am very busy, my schedule will open up. I have off on tuesdays and a short day on mondays that are both open pets, along with the weekends! I have an electric fence for my dog, we feed her twice a day and let her out as often as possible. We recently started letting her stay home without being in the crate. But I am willing to care for your dog however you would like!
