“Both of my dogs seemed quite happy with the visit. Alex was right on time and made sure that everyone was taken care of. The pictures from the visit were great. Such happy smiles on my boys!”

“Yutong did a fantastic job taking care of our 2 Shiba Inu boys while we were out of town for a couple of days. He was incredibly responsive, sent loads of photos and videos, and made us feel very sure that our dogs were happy and well cared for. We will certainly be reaching out to him again to take care of our dogs!”

“Destiny was great with our two kitties! She did several drop ins while we were out of town and she cleaned litter and food well, as well as our kittie water fountain. She even picked up some stuff the kitties had knocked over and let us know where she put it. Additionally, she tried to befriend our shy kittie, and even though he didn't want to come out it was nice that she kept checking on him!”
“Madeline was great with our golden retriever for a full week of drop in visits. She was on time every day and gave our dog lots of extra care and attention. I got a report card and pictures daily. I will book Madeline again and I recommend.”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. Dogs of all shapes and sizes. I love taking care of dogs. Playing, walking, and feeding them. They really are man’s best friend. I work full time, but telework often. I work 10 minutes from home and stop by for lunch daily. The weekends I’m home all the time. Would give full attention to all dogs. My house is the dogs house. As long as they are house trained, they have full use of the house. Nice big yard to run around. Plenty of trails to go for a walk and stretch their legs.
“Taresse was amazing! She was on time, flexible, very attentive to our dog and cat (and gecko) and very responsive. Taresse was very sweet with both our furry pets. She played ball with Loki and even got our cat to come out and get pets/attention. She also was very gracious when there were a few scheduling hiccups that we made on our side. I would highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember. I started my first little pet-sitting business back in high school and quickly realized how much I love being around animals. Since then, caring for dogs has always been a constant part of my life. I have an 8yr old dog of my own who’s very sweet but also reactive, so I understand how important patience, structure, and trust are . Especially for pets who need a little extra understanding. That experience has made me very mindful of each animal’s unique personality and comfort level. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from excitable puppies to mellow senior dogs, and I often help out neighbors and friends when they travel. I’ve also volunteered at local animal shelters, where I learned how to connect with dogs of all sizes, backgrounds, and temperaments. I approach every pet with the same care and attention I give my own, creating a calm, consistent environment and making sure they feel safe, happy, and understood. Whether it’s a walk, a check-in, or an extended stay, I’m dedicated to making sure your pet feels right at home. I work from home full-time, so pet care naturally fits into my schedule. I’m home and flexible throughout the day, which allows me to keep pets on their normal routine and give them plenty of attention. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or an extended stay at your home, I make sure each pet gets calm, consistent care and companionship. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine and keeping their environment calm and comfortable. I follow all care instructions closely, from feeding schedules and walks to medications or special needs and make sure pets get plenty of attention and playtime while you’re away. I treat each home with the same respect I’d want for my own, and I always make sure everything is tidy and secure before I leave. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, cared for, and relaxed until you’re back home.
“Jasmine was great!! She took amazing care of our two cats while we were out of town. She’s super communicative, takes great photos, and really went the extra mile to keep the cat stuff (food/water bowls and litter boxes) clean. Would definitely recommend her!”

“We’ve had Olivia do drop in visits with our two dogs twice now so far and she has been amazing! She is very responsive and has been extremely helpful with us learning rover. Our two dogs are usually not the best with new people and are reactive, but she has been absolutely wonderful with them.”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life and understand the love, patience, and responsibility that go into caring for pets. As a pet owner myself, I have a high-energy terrier who keeps me active with daily walks, playtime, and lots of attention, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs with a variety of energy levels and personalities. I’m responsible, dependable, have my own reliable transportation, and maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate your pet’s needs. I also enjoy spending time with cats and other pets and believe every animal deserves compassionate, attentive care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping your pet company while you’re away, I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family. I am currently going to school part time, my schedule is very flexible and I can be available anytime on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Weekends. I can follow any instructions you leave regarding pet care, I am more than willing to go on walks, play and feed your pet! I enjoy dogs of all ages and can adjust my care routine to suit your animal.

“Thank you for caring for our cats while we were traveling! You really made them feel happy, played with, and fed! We really appreciated you staying for the whole drop in visit and sending pictures as we were really missing them while we were away!!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was young. I grew up on a farm with lots of animals and have trained many puppies and older dogs alike. All my dogs have been rescues so I’m very familiar with dogs that have come from bad situations and dogs that are misunderstood because of their breeds. I’ve always had dogs of different sizes, breeds and temperaments. I’m always the first person my friends and family go to when they need some extra help with t dogs or just need someone to watch them while on vacation. I live on 10 acres which is perfect for those dogs that love off leash time but don’t get a lot, I love exploring new areas and have assisted in training dogs while in the military. I’m currently working part time and looking for a way to get out of the house more often and help people with their pets needs. As a dog and cat owner I know how important exercise is and that some people just don’t have the time to take their dogs on proper walks while they are at work. I live on ten acres and can offer a safe environment for dogs to safely play in, I have extra long leads so if your pup isn’t quite off leash trained they can still have an amazing experience with the long leads and all the land. I always follow whatever instructions are left for me as I know how important routines can be for a pet!

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve had cats throughout my life and have also had the joy of caring for a dog. Now that my kids are grown and out of the house, I have more time to spend doing something I genuinely enjoy! Being around animals! I’d love to spoil your pets with love, playtime, walks, and lots of attention while you’re away. My goal is to make your pets feel comfortable, happy, and cared for just like they were at home. I can stop in before and after work. Or I can stay at your house. I work a 9-5 weekdays. I am available also on weekends. I will follow your expectations while sitting for your pets in your home. I will make sure the home remains pet safe. Making sure your pets environment is safe before leaving them. I will give them lots of attention and playtime.
About: I’ve taken care of various different species of dogs and cats within my neighborhood and area since I was 10! I’ve always been an animal lover so many of my neighbors counted on me to take care of their fur babies! Within this years worth experience, I have learned to work with different species of dogs & cats! I am able to work with cats and dogs of different personalities, traits, needs, etc! Neighbors have relied and trusted me to feed, walk, bathe, spend time and show loving to their beloved pets! I’m currently a part time collage student but I still have a lot of time to play, care for and show so much love to your fur babies! I am available Monday, Wednesday, Thursdays, Friday, and Sunday after 12:30 pm!🧡 In my clients home, I always ensure the pets safety! I make sure to check surrounding and keep things out of reach that could harm the animal! I always make sure to introduce myself slowly as I am in their home and allow them to get comfortable with me at their own pace. I always ensure to go through and memorize their routines and feeding schedules. I always respect the home owners home as well and make sure it stays clean!
About: I have always loved being around dogs and being able to make sure their needs are met completely. Although I have only owned one dog I have been around different dogs from a young age. I trained my own dog as a puppy but I have family who have owned pit bulls, cane corsos, husky’s, etc. Animals and dogs have become a passion of mine and making sure they are living the best life they possibly can. I’m currently a bio major college student with completely open weekend times along with some weekday times. Tuesdays after 2:30 pm, Thursdays between 7 am to 10 am and after 2:30 PM, and Fridays starting at 11 AM. I understand the responsibility of the job and meeting your pets needs along with keeping them safe will always be the top priority. I also understand how hard it is to trust someone with your pet so I will also take pictures and videos to help making you feel comfortable while your away. Throughout my time I will make sure the pets feel as safe as possible and make sure they are getting the proper attention, care, and supervision.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dayton
Ryan is amazing. Conscientious, attentive, caring, highly communicative. Ryan spent all summer coming to our house 1 sometimes 2x a day to let our 8 week old puppy out. With ever changing rules about puppy freedom activities with our VERY energetic older golden, she always asked what she could and couldn't let them do. I would hire Ryam 100x over she is amazing. 100/10. No notes.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
