“Alissa has been wonderful, we're so thankful we found her. Our 5 yr old Golden Retriever loves her, she's calm and sweet and clearly knows what she's doing around dogs. She's been walking him for us for several weeks now and she's prompt and takes great care of him, he's happy to go off with her. She's been wonderful, we highly recommend her!”

About: I love dogs and they seem to love me...cats, too! I am currently looking for pet sitting clients, in my home or the client's home. I live on a peaceful, private and safe property, bordered by the woods and a lake in Brookeville. I have cared for my own pets for most of my life and have also worked as a dog walker and dog hander at a dog daycare center. I have also fostered and rescued dogs and cats. I have an extensive background in unrelated fields, such as music, graphics/video, real estate, property management and working as a home healthcare aide. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have. Best ~ Mark I can always put my pet clients and visitors first. Outside of working with animals, I work on music, home renovations, read, etc. My home is a large garage that I converted into a guest house with a recording studio. The house where I have pet guests is a private home near the woods. I have over 2 acres where I can walk dogs, plus 80 acres of woods behind the house for hikes. I have security cameras at the property. There is only one neighbor nearby and it is a very quiet and peaceful area. I am completely trustworthy as far as caring for client's pets. I have worked as a guitar teacher and pet handler, various other jobs that required background checks.

“Stephanie is amazing! She is the most reliable rover I have ever had! She is super good with our almost 2 year old golden retriever who can be very high energy! She stays with him and plays and make sure he gets all the love and exercise he needs. I trust her very much with our pup and would definitely recommend!”

“Amy was great taking care of Jasper for the first time. I was nervous to leave him alone but I am glad Amy was available specially on the Holidays season. She did amazing and it was a good communication since the meet and greet. I will definitely look for her again!”

About: I don't have any pets of my own at the moment, so I get my daily dose of pet cuddles by caring for my friends' pets, from an energetic 6 month old puppy to senior dogs and cats. I've always been a cat person and proudly consider myself a bit of a cat lady, but I genuinely love animals of all kinds. In college, I even brought my betta fish home with me every weekend to make sure he was well cared for. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, and I enjoy making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I work from home, so it's easy for me to fit pet visits into my day. Spending time with with a cuddly friend would be one of my favorite parts of the week! I also work a part time job some evenings, but with advance notice I'm flexible and happy to accommodate your pet's schedule whenever possible. I know pets thrive on routine, so I'll do my best to keep things the way they're used to. From special feeding routines to favorite toys and cuddle time, I'll treat your pet with the same care and attention I'd want for my own.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for animals. I had my own dog for 9 years who recently passed away, and I truly treated him like my baby. I have experience dog sitting for family and friends, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, and giving lots of attention. I’m patient, responsible, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll always make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I currently work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet lots of attention and care. I’m available most afternoons/evenings during the week and have more open availability on weekends for drop-ins and walks!! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow feeding and potty schedules, keep a close eye during playtime, and make sure pets are supervised. I provide frequent updates, and I treat every pet like my own.

About: Hi! I’m Kelsey, and caring for animals has always been something that comes really naturally to me. I recently adopted my cat, Louis, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. I work full-time in behavioral health, so I bring a lot of patience, attentiveness, and calm energy into how I care for animals—especially those who may be a little anxious or need extra reassurance. I’m available for drop-ins and walks, with extra flexibility on Tuesdays and Fridays when I work from home. I’m happy to follow detailed routines, send regular updates, and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet needs playtime, a walk, or just some company, I’d love to help! Pet care fits really naturally into my weekly routine. I work full-time during the day, but I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend visits, with extra flexibility on Tuesdays and Fridays when I work from home. I try to keep my schedule balanced so I can be fully present with each pet, and not feel rushed between visits. I’m happy to stick to consistent routines, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate specific timing needs when I can. I’m especially a good fit for pets who benefit from a calm, steady presence or a little extra patience. I care for every pet the way I’d want someone to care for mine, with patience, attention, and a really calm energy. I recently adopted my cat, Louisville aka Louis, so I know how important it is to trust the person coming into your space. In your home, I’m very respectful of routines and will follow instructions closely to keep things consistent and low-stress. I take my time building trust, especially with shy or anxious pets (and cats who like to take their time warming up). I’m mindful about safety - secure doors, leashes, clean spaces, and making sure your pet is always comfortable. I’ll also send thoughtful updates and photos so you feel connected and at ease while you’re away. Whether your pet wants playtime, a walk, or just a cozy presence nearby, I’m happy to meet them where they are.
“Marion is absolutely wonderful. She is always quick to respond, takes amazing care of my Luna Tuna, and clearly has a genuine love for what she does. As a bonus, she even loves plants. I could not recommend her more.”

“Jenna is a superstar! She has been caring for our dog who absolutely adores her. Jenna is loving and sweet, she plays with our dog, and she sends us terrific pictures. By the way, I think she can start a pet photography business, because each photo is amazing. I completely trust Jenna with our fur baby, and we have 100% peace of mind that she is dropping in and giving dog love, fresh air, a bio break, and exercise. We feel so fortunate to work with Jenna!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was young. I grew up on a farm with lots of animals and have trained many puppies and older dogs alike. All my dogs have been rescues so I’m very familiar with dogs that have come from bad situations and dogs that are misunderstood because of their breeds. I’ve always had dogs of different sizes, breeds and temperaments. I’m always the first person my friends and family go to when they need some extra help with t dogs or just need someone to watch them while on vacation. I live on 10 acres which is perfect for those dogs that love off leash time but don’t get a lot, I love exploring new areas and have assisted in training dogs while in the military. I’m currently working part time and looking for a way to get out of the house more often and help people with their pets needs. As a dog and cat owner I know how important exercise is and that some people just don’t have the time to take their dogs on proper walks while they are at work. I live on ten acres and can offer a safe environment for dogs to safely play in, I have extra long leads so if your pup isn’t quite off leash trained they can still have an amazing experience with the long leads and all the land. I always follow whatever instructions are left for me as I know how important routines can be for a pet!
“Ariana, Was very thoughtful, understanding and very caring towards Zeus! Daily notes of what they did and played with him once home. I would recommend her to anyone and let you know you can relax and not worry about your fury friend she’s going to take good care of them!”

“Ruby did great with Chewy. Pictures every day and she spent quality time with our fury family member. Ruby was very flexible in her schedule and accommodated Chewy's morning and evening routines. Looking to hire again.”

“Ariella handled both of our cats terrifically. I was worried because we had special issues where the cats had to be kept separate and one cat was having issues using the litter box. But Ariella checked in and sent pictures and it was great having her here.”
“We recently had michelle take care of our older cat while we were away. She did an awesome job! Her daily detailed visits were excellent and we enjoyed her posted pics. We would definitely choose Michelle again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
