About: Hello! My name is Sayuri (Cindy), and dogs have always been an important part of my life. I grew up in a family that always had dogs, so caring for and understanding dogs has been natural to me from an early age. I have many years of experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. After losing my beloved dog in 2002, I welcomed a rescue dog into my life in 2015. Today, I share my home with Layla, my 6-year-old female Labrador Retriever, who is a loving and gentle companion. I have also cared for my son’s girlfriend’s two puppies when they stayed with us during their travels. I treated them just like my own dogs, providing walks, playtime, feeding, and a safe and comfortable environment. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, boarding, feeding, and playtime. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, and I always provide patient, attentive, and loving care. Your pets are family, and I will care for them with the same love and attention I provide to my own Layla. Your dog's routine will always come first. Since I work from home, I am available throughout the day to provide attention, companionship, and supervision. I am able to adjust my schedule to match your dog's normal routine, including feeding times, potty breaks, playtime, and rest periods. Because I am home most of the time, your dog will not be left unattended. When spending time in our spacious fenced backyard, I carefully supervise outdoor activities to make sure your dog stays safe while enjoying fresh air, playtime, and exploring. During the warmer months, dogs may also enjoy supervised pool time if they are comfortable with water. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. Because we have a large, fully fenced backyard with both grassy areas and woods, I introduce every dog to the outdoor space slowly and carefully. At first, outdoor time will be supervised with a leash so your dog can become comfortable with the new environment. As your dog becomes more familiar and confident, I may gradually increase freedom with a longer leash while continuing to closely observe their behavior. Once I feel your dog is completely comfortable and safe, they can enjoy supervised exploring and walking through the wooded area of our backyard. At night, your dog will stay comfortably inside our home. They are welcome to sleep on the floor or in their preferred sleeping area. If your dog feels more comfortable in a crate, I can move their crate upstairs and place it next to my bed so they can feel secure and relaxed throughout the night. About: Dog boarding: I have 16 years experience for caring for dogs at home including multiple dogs at a time. Additionally I have six years experience with dog sitting/boarding. My main availability would be Monday-Saturday where I have a hybrid/WFH schedule meaning constant attention and activities for the dogs to be a part of most days of the week. Dog walking: My main availability would be Monday-Friday. I live right by Rock Creek Park so there are plenty of trails nearby to avoid busy streets on walks. This means constant potty breaks, multiple walks a day with varying duration, and lots and lots of affection. About: Hi there! I have a special advantage to my peers, being from the age 10 my mom took in fosters from the humane society that we equally took care of. At times we had up to 3 dogs we were caring for, on top of other animals in our household. We groomed them, fed them, took them to care visits, took them on walks, cleaned up after them, all up until they were adopted. We fostered for many years until my early adulthood. I still help my mom take care of her animals from time to time. I’m very active so taking your babies out for frequent walks, potty breaks or to doggy parks will be great for both of us! If you would like to book me, give me 3 days notice in advance. However my client feels most comfortable is how I like to best serve them. About: I have been a dog lover from birth, but no other pet has tested that besides my favorite bernedoodle, Pavi. I lived with Pavi and her cousin doberman, Oso, throughout their entire puppy phase (jump scare) and their dramatic toddler years. I did Rover for about a year and a half in 2024 and absolutely loved all the kinds of dogs that roamed through my house. I am not scared of a little mess and definitely not scared of cuddles either. I have seen a variety of dog personalities to the shy, angry, mischievous, and caring dogs. There were times I saw dogs with it all. I am super excited to care for and play with your loved pups they way you would. And don’t be surprised when you receive an album worth of pup photos after every visit. Right now I am working part time as a youth development specialist for MCPS, so i’m looking for something that would give me some physical activity and seretonin. I always keep my pups entertained by me or by any creative ways i can think of around the house. Hide and seek, peek a boo, fetch, tug a war, you name it. i love to play with them outside so that they can get nice and tired and sleep through out the night.
