About: Hi! I’m Ingrid, a mom of 4 boys ages 4-13 and a dog owner to a boy Beagle named Otis. I’ve had dogs all my life and love being with them and caring for them! (I even trained Otis from a puppy!) We have a large house in the country on 2.5 acres of land. We LOVE having other dogs stay and visit! Otis and the children are very good with other dogs! Other than taking care of the house and kids, taking care of dogs is my only other job, so your pup will get plenty of needed attention and have lots of fun with us!!! We are on a 2.5 acre property, but no fence, so outside time will be on leash only- (we have long leashes for more freedom to roam). Inside is more flexible with free roam in the main area- very large sunroom, living room, and kitchen. We have a large area for dogs to sleep overnight comfortably either on a dog bed or crate, whichever is preferred.

For house sitting, I would typically water plants as well, take in newspapers and packages, etc. I typically leave things as they are or better than I found them. My own house isn't very busy, so it's easy for me to notice if a pet needs extra attention or playtime, or if they're trying to get into something they shouldn't. Stairs aren't an issue. The glass screen door lets them watch the neighborhood as I sit. Fenced yard, clean house, nearby dog parks, and a safe quiet area. In the fenced yard, we have a stone patio and a garden of roses, hydrangeas, and a butterfly bush. A smaller metal fence guards the more sensitive plants. There's a "rest area" for pets that need frequent breaks. The clovers are growing back at the moment.
