Dog Walking Lilypons

About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am a Graduate student, but I manage to take six- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. I am attentive and responsible for my pets needs, and take pride in ensuring that the animals I care for are happy and healthy. I have a nine-year-old mixed breed dog who enjoys her daily walks and sunbathing on the deck, but does not enjoy the company of other dogs very much.

I recently moved back to my hometown after spending the last five years living in Colorado, and I’m taking this season to slow down a little, spend time with family, and enjoy being back home. I’ve had a bit of a colorful career path! I’ve spent years as a private nanny and household manager, worked in property management, attended school for Interior Design, and now work in management and social media marketing. Through all of it, I’ve always loved work that involves caring for people, creating beautiful spaces, and making life a little easier for others. Outside of work, I’m a creative and an adventurer at heart. I love acrylic painting, interior design, hiking, cooking homemade recipes, road trips, and traveling to new places. Give me a beautiful trail, a little town I’ve never explored, a paintbrush, or something new to cook and I’m happy. I also had a dog of my own who I had to say goodbye to a few years ago, and I’ve really missed having that companionship in my everyday life. My current work gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day, with especially open availability on Sundays and Mondays. I’m happy to follow whatever routine makes your pet happiest—whether that’s long walks and adventures, backyard playtime, or lots of couch snuggles. Most importantly, I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your little family member is with someone who will genuinely love and care for them. I take them to the dog park, long walks, roaming around in fenced in yards, & lots of snuggles. Whatever you are comfortable with and whatever your dog's typical routine is- I will make sure they are fulfilled.

About: I truly believe your pet is just as much of your family as your mother, father, sister, or brother. Because of that, I do my best to give them the same amount of respect and treatment. Any special requests will be fulfilled to the best of my ability! I work part-time, only leaving the house for a four hour shift every other day, so there's plenty of time in my routine to take care of your furry friends. My yard is fenced in, with a dog door providing as much access to the backyard as needed by the pup. There aren't any other animals in the house, but my neighborhood has lots of other dogs for them to bark at through the fence.

Since I'm home throughout the day, your pet will receive plenty of attention, frequent potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I'm happy to follow your pet's normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), crate training, and furniture preferences. If your dog enjoys social play and you approve, we're also just minutes from a local dog park for extra exercise.
