About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am a Graduate student, but I manage to take six- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. I am attentive and responsible for my pets needs, and take pride in ensuring that the animals I care for are happy and healthy. I have a nine-year-old mixed breed dog who enjoys her daily walks and sunbathing on the deck, but does not enjoy the company of other dogs very much.

About: I spent twelve years caring for my German Shepherd, Tyson, who taught me the importance of patience, trust, & routine. Alongside him, I have cared for doggies of all breeds & sizes for over fifteen years. Friends & family have relied on me for walking, feeding, companionship, & staying with them for days at a time. I recently moved back to my hometown after spending the last five years living in Colorado, and I’m taking this season to slow down a little, spend time with family, and enjoy being back home. I’ve had a bit of a colorful career path! I’ve spent years as a private nanny and household manager, worked in property management, attended school for Interior Design, and now work in management and social media marketing. Through all of it, I’ve always loved work that involves caring for people, creating beautiful spaces, and making life a little easier for others. Outside of work, I’m a creative and an adventurer at heart. I love acrylic painting, interior design, hiking, cooking homemade recipes, road trips, and traveling to new places. Give me a beautiful trail, a little town I’ve never explored, a paintbrush, or something new to cook and I’m happy. I also had a dog of my own who I had to say goodbye to a few years ago, and I’ve really missed having that companionship in my everyday life. My current work gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day, with especially open availability on Sundays and Mondays. I’m happy to follow whatever routine makes your pet happiest—whether that’s long walks and adventures, backyard playtime, or lots of couch snuggles. Most importantly, I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your little family member is with someone who will genuinely love and care for them. I take them to the dog park, long walks, roaming around in fenced in yards, & lots of snuggles. Whatever you are comfortable with and whatever your dog's typical routine is- I will make sure they are fulfilled.

About: I understand that leaving your pet alone can be extremely stressful, but there’s no need to worry! I absolutely love animals and I have the patience to work with any - big or small! I promise to provide the same level of care to your pet as I would my own. I am a high school teacher, so I am currently available only on weekends. However, for the holidays and during summer break I typically stay local so if you are going to be traveling please take me into consideration! I am very comfortable working with dogs in their homes. If they need to be walked, I can easily handle putting on a leash and picking up after them. I am also comfortable handling any toys, food, or medicine your pet may need.

About: Hi! I’m Genevieve! I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals and have been pet sitting and dog walking for about 13 years. Larger dogs are definitely my specialty, but I grew up with small dogs as well and am comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have extensive experience with rescue dogs, high energy breeds, and dogs with behavioral or special needs. I adopted my own pit bull from a euthanasia list and have spent years working through reactivity and behavioral challenges with her, which has given me a strong understanding of canine body language, patience, and maintaining consistent training routines. I’ve also worked with groups of dogs in shelter and pack environments, including living and working at a remote animal shelter in Greece. I’ve had five cats of my own throughout my life, so I’m comfortable caring for cats as well. I also grew up around farm animals and have experience caring for horses, donkeys, chickens, and other animals. I believe good pet care goes beyond the basics. I’m happy to dedicate whatever time is needed to make sure your pets are well cared for, mentally stimulated, enriched, exercised, and, of course, very loved. Whether they want to play, explore, practice their training, or simply have some company, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at! Pet care is currently my primary focus, so I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate everything from daily walks to occasional overnight stays. Because I'm actively searching for my next full time position, I have plenty of availability to give pets the time, attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. My goal is to keep your pet's routine as normal and stress free as possible while you're away. I'll follow your care instructions closely, pay attention to your pet's body language and individual needs, and provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. I treat every home with respect and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. My camera roll is already full of pictures of my own dog, as well as my friends' and family's pets, so you can expect no shortage of photo updates while your pet is in my care!
