About: Responsible and caring dog lover with years of experience providing reliable walking and sitting services. I treat every pet with patience, respect, and genuine affection, ensuring they feel safe and happy while you're away. Known for clear communication and dependable care, I'm committed to making each visit a positive experience for both pets and owners. I work part-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide reliable and attentive pet care throughout the week. I genuinely enjoy taking care of other people's pets and treat every animal with the same care I give my own. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for while you're away. I carefully follow each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and any special instructions you provide. I understand how important trust is when someone else is caring for your furry family member. I believe in keeping pet parents informed with regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring and responsible hands.
About: Hi! I’m Genevieve! I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals and have been pet sitting and dog walking for about 13 years. Larger dogs are definitely my specialty, but I grew up with small dogs as well and am comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have extensive experience with rescue dogs, high energy breeds, and dogs with behavioral or special needs. I adopted my own pit bull from a euthanasia list and have spent years working through reactivity and behavioral challenges with her, which has given me a strong understanding of canine body language, patience, and maintaining consistent training routines. I’ve also worked with groups of dogs in shelter and pack environments, including living and working at a remote animal shelter in Greece. I’ve had five cats of my own throughout my life, so I’m comfortable caring for cats as well. I also grew up around farm animals and have experience caring for horses, donkeys, chickens, and other animals. I believe good pet care goes beyond the basics. I’m happy to dedicate whatever time is needed to make sure your pets are well cared for, mentally stimulated, enriched, exercised, and, of course, very loved. Whether they want to play, explore, practice their training, or simply have some company, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at! Pet care is currently my primary focus, so I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate everything from daily walks to occasional overnight stays. Because I'm actively searching for my next full time position, I have plenty of availability to give pets the time, attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. My goal is to keep your pet's routine as normal and stress free as possible while you're away. I'll follow your care instructions closely, pay attention to your pet's body language and individual needs, and provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. I treat every home with respect and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. My camera roll is already full of pictures of my own dog, as well as my friends' and family's pets, so you can expect no shortage of photo updates while your pet is in my care!
“Super duper dogwatch trooper! Provided regular updates and timely pics. Great attention to detail, remembering little quirks I told her about our dog. I’d say even nicer things, but I’d rather keep her a secret ;)”

“Sophia is an excellent pet sitter. Kept us informed about our kitties the whole time. We were able to enjoy our three week vacation due to her diligent care. They were healthy, happy, and overjoyed to see us on return. Thank you for helping us Sophia.”

“Miriam took great care of our cats and we appreciated all the photos and updates. She was very responsive and easy to book with, even though we requested last minute due to our pet sitter cancelling before our 2+ week trip.”

“Shelby was such a pleasure to work with on short notice. She took excellent care of my boys and even got my scaredy cat to come out of hiding. Highly recommend and would definitely work with her again!”

About: Worked at Warrior Canine Connection as Canine Care staff, taking care of service dogs in training and new puppies! Kennel cleaning, walking, feeding, and some training and basic medical care. I am currently free all day! I can walk and do drop ins whenever you need as long as it is after 7 am and before 11pm. I give animals the time they need to warm up, and have an overall understanding of different body language. I am an aspiring veterinarian and believe that good animal care including exercise and nutrition (as well as some good cuddles) are key to a healthy pet.
“We had such a wonderful experience with Lauren! She was prompt, communicative, and even stopped by before our trip to meet us and the cats, which gave us so much peace of mind. She followed all of our feeding instructions perfectly and sent us daily updates with plenty of photos of the cats (and their food!), which we really appreciated while we were away. She also made sure to spend quality time playing with them. It’s clear how much she truly loves animals. We came home to two very happy cats! We will absolutely use her again and would highly recommend her to any family and friends. Thank you, Lauren!”

About: Thanks for visiting our page. I’ve been taking care of animals for 30 years I can never remember a time that I have not had an animal in my home. I am the go to person for all my friends and family when they wanna leave their animal for the weekend or a long trip. I treat them just like they’re my own pet them frequently and make them feel like it’s a vacation. We have one dog she’s a chocolate lab and she’s adorable and very gentle. She had a partner dog that died about a year ago and she has been lonely ever since. She always seems so much more happy when we’re taking other peoples dogs. She likes to have the company. I work from home I have a very flexible schedule and I take Coco everywhere I go if I can. I never leave the dogs alone there’s always someone with them. We play ball in the backyard and go for lots of walks. Unless you have a preference I’m happy to let the dogs run free inside the home feel like they are not restricted free Firstly I make sure that everybody is friends and all dogs respect each other. I always feed them separately so they feel comfortable having their food without looking over their shoulder. They are welcome to roam free in the home unless you have a preference.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s a part of my everyday life. I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old, and I have pets of my own, so I understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust. Whether it’s an energetic puppy who needs playtime or a senior cat who just wants a calm, cozy space, I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. As an adult student with a flexible schedule and plenty of free time, pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I love having that extra time to give each pet the attention and care they deserve — whether that means daily walks, play sessions, feeding, or just being there to keep them company. My schedule allows me to be dependable, responsive, and available when pet parents need someone they can count on. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In my home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment where animals can relax, play, and feel right at home. I stick to their usual routines — feeding times, walks, medication if needed — and make sure they get plenty of attention and care. When I’m in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely to keep their pets on a familiar schedule. I take time to bond with each pet, provide updates to the owners, and make sure their home stays clean and secure while they’re away. No matter the setting, I treat every pet as if they were my own — with patience, love, and full attention to their needs.

“Alexandra is awesome! She made my trip away from home stress free and took great care of my two cats for me while I was gone. She has excellent communication skills and works to make sure you are reassured while away!”

About: I have had several pets through my life and all have had different personalities. Adapting to them to make them comfortable is important. I also have helped family take care of their new puppies. I’m very comfortable and understanding when dealing with puppies. Currently I can do any time! I don’t mind having an early morning or late night drop in. I am very flexible and want to make this easy for YOU! Just communicate what you need and it’ll be great. I want the animal to be as comfy as possible. Sometimes their human leaving can be stressful! I want to meet them where it’s needed. Not have their routines thrown off.
“Rachel was great with our dog & cat. She was punctual, reliable, and our fur babies took to her so quickly. She sent me so many pictures of them cuddled up on her so if you believe that a dog is a good judge of character, then Rachel is the best. We will use her in the future & would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

“Heidi was a wonderful sitter for our two Havanese and little parakeet. She sent pictures and updates and was very responsive with texts. Our girls loved her, and we will definitely be asking her to watch them again! Thank you so much for taking such good care of them!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Araby View
Justin is awesome. He cares for my kitty any time I’m away - very attentive to her needs well beyond what I outline for her care. For example, noticing that despite having a water fountain she likes still her water bowl, so he refilled that even though I’d said not to worry about it. He asked follow up questions to make sure Maggie was well cared for, and got great pictures of her, which showed he was clearly laying on the floor to hang out with her because she’s not much of a lap kitty and doesn’t tend to jump up on chairs or anything to make it easier to pet her. In addition, he kindly brought in a package that was delivered during our absence. Also, I have a severe food allergy that he is careful to accommodate while caring for Maggie the cat. Finally, it’s a huge plus and great to know that if needed, Kacy can step in if Justin isn’t available for some reason. Love the team of Kacy and Justin!! Recommend.

Haley took wonderful care of our two kitties, Miami and Virginia, through drop-in visits. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly caring, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Thank you, Haley, for taking great care of them. We would absolutely recommend her and would be happy to work with her again.

Francesca was friendly and easy to communicate with, and ensured all our kitty's needs were met, including giving our fur baby lots of affection. Francesca followed our instructions, brought in packages that arrived, and sent detailed Rover cards with lots of good pictures and detailed updates. Our fur baby can be on edge after we get back from a trip, but she seemed normal and happy when we got back.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Araby View. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
