About: Have 10+ years of veterinary care experience in both VA & MD to include puppy care (kennel & potty training…) and senior dogs care (medications, ear & eye care…). About: I've been a dog-mom to three very different dogs—a German Shepherd, a Rottweiler, and an Indian street dog rescue—over nearly 30 years. They were always part of the family, traveling with us across the world through military assignments and other moves. I've loved and cared for them through every stage of life, from their energetic puppy days to the challenges of old age, gaining plenty of experience with a range of personalities and needs. I recently said goodbye to Daisy, my loyal companion of 13 years, leaving a big hole in my heart. I have a hybrid work schedule and very few time-bound commitments, making my schedule very flexible. Typically, I am available throughout the day Wednesday through Sundays. I am out of the house 8 am - 2 pm on Monday and Tuesdays. I live in a single family home with a small unfenced yard. I am in a residential community with plenty of space to walk and green areas. There are no other pets or kids in the house.

He is a bit anxious but A&C we’re very understanding and knew how to manage his behavior and make him feel comfortable. Our dog is on the smaller side and he was in a house with bigger dogs, but they all took their time before I left him to make him feel acclimated with his new daycare mates. I would definitely recommend these folks, they have a great professional demeanor and are very communicative and welcoming. Their space was clean and their dogs seemed very happy and healthy! I work from home and am available for walking (give me allll the exercise) and sitting (give me allll the cuddles). I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I'm around to give attention as needed, 7 days/week. I'm an early riser (6:30 give or take), so early walks or breakfasts would be no problem. I have a fenced yard that would be secure for all but the most accomplished escape artists. Your pet would have full access to all parts of the house (including furniture). That said, if crating, furniture restrictions, etc. work better for you and your dog, I would happily honor your typical rules and routines.

“We are incredibly grateful for the care Ellen gave Dugger and Maya this week. We had a last minute change in our schedule and needed to extend their stay by a day. Then on pickup day, I was going to arrive very late. She kindly and lovingly kept them an extra night without hesitation. While they were with her, she prepared delicious dinners for them, sent us videos and photos, and cared for them with so much love and attention. It is very clear that she truly loves what she does. Dugger and Maya absolutely love going to her farm, and we always feel at peace knowing they are in such good hands. We could not ask for better care.”

“We had a great experience with Nicole taking care of our pug, Memo, for about a week. She was super nice and easy to work with from the start. From the meet and greet, we knew Memo was going to love her. She kept us updated every day on how Memo was doing, and we really like the photos and videos she sent. It really made it a lot easier being away from him. You could tell right away that Memo was comfortable and happy with her and her husband. They treated him like their own and made sure he got plenty of attention and walks. We’d definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their dog.”
“Zlatka took care of Mr. Blu May 8th-11th. What a wonderful person! It was love at first sight for my dog Mr. Blu he bonded with her immediately. I knew then she was the right sitter for Mr. Blu. Zlatka is very kind and caring and is very knowledgeble of handling a dog. Mr. Blu is a little anxious but Zlatka's demeanor calmed him and he became so relaxed. It was the sound of her voice. I was so thrilled to know that I could enjoy my vacation and not worry about him. Mr. Blu is a major part of our family. I received photos of their walks. He looked happy & enjoyed being with her.
