Hey there! I am a graduate student studying education, and I’m currently working for the local school system and in the process to become a full time teacher. I grew up with and around all types of animals my entire life. I am in tune to learning their personalities and what they each need and like to make them the happiest they can be! I no longer have pets (due to old age), but for many years I had two bengal cats who needed lots of attention and activity. Chloe is the kitty in the car photo with me. :) I am experienced around elderly cats and dogs, and frequently have delivered mediation to both dogs and cats of all ages. I am very active and outdoorsy, so active pets who need a lot of exercise are no problem. I also have experience around other animal breeds. I lived with family who owned large and small birds, horses, and chickens. And I grew up owning various reptiles.

I will take careful attention to the specific needs of your pet and their preferences and routine. This will vary depending on the pet and the owners preferences! My animals at home have a set schedule for feeding and daily walks and play! They sleep with me and do homework with me from school.

Katie stayed at our house for a week with our two dogs and was great!! She sent pictures and gave updates throughout the week!
Katie is a trusted, caring, and detail-oriented pet sitter. She cared for our sweet special needs (FIV+) cat, Simon, while we travelled. He needed medication and some special supplements and she handled it all just as he needed. We came home to a happy and healthy cat and that was wonderful! We would definitely use her again and give her our highest recommendation.
Katie has taken care of my pets while I'm out of town several times now. She has proven to be a trustworthy and caring pet sitter, working great with both my dogs and cat. Feeding them all dinner can be a bit tedious, but Katie is always able to accommodate them.

Schedule
My schedule follows Frederick County Public School’s schedule. I work from 7am - 2:30pm weekdays. And I am off from work (other than teacher work days) on the same schedule students are off.
