Lauren is great with Maizy! She shows up every scheduled day to walk her and took great care of her while I was at work. Maizy has grown comfortable around her and I wouldn’t be surprised if Maizy is consistently waiting by the door daily for her walk.

About: My whole life we had cats and dogs. I have house sat for neighbors and friends with pets since I was ten years old. I currently own a rabbit. I have also cared for all kinds of rodents, fish, and reptiles. I have trained puppies and kittens and a bunny. I also cared for my older dachshund and gave him shots and necessary medications. I work part time teaching yoga throughout the week and have lots of availability. I only have custody of my kids every other week making my week without them a great time for extra hours and house sitting. I keep pets from being hungry, thirsty, or bored. I keep pets nicely groomed and their areas and things nicely cleaned. I offer direct focus and affection. I can walk or run with dogs. I love doing yoga on the floor and watching cats or my rabbit climb all over me and get affection.

About: I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember and have two dogs and a cat of my own. Friends, family, and neighbors trust me to care for their pets when they're away, and I'm often the first person they call when they need a reliable pet sitter. I treat every animal as if they are my own. I just love animals!! I have a very flexible schedule as I just graduated college and am looking for a full time job. I am available throughout the day, any day of the week typically!! When caring for pets in your home, I will follow their normal routines, make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away.

Sheila has been walking my dog Violet since July. She is trustworthy, reliable, flexible and caring. She has lots of expirience with dogs and can handle walking a dog that doesn't have the best manners on a leash! My dog Violet seems to really enjoy her walks with Sheila! She has been able to fit in a walk for Violet every single time I have asked, even if I have contacted last minute due to a scheduling conflict on my end. Sheila is very detail oriented and observant and will notice and alert you if something seems off/different about your dog. I can't say enough good things about Sheila!

About: I spent twelve years caring for my German Shepherd, Tyson, who taught me the importance of patience, trust, & routine. Alongside him, I have cared for doggies of all breeds & sizes for over fifteen years. Friends & family have relied on me for walking, feeding, companionship, & staying with them for days at a time. I'm especially comfortable with large & strong breeds. I'm calm, attentive, & deeply respectful of each dog's unique personality- my goal is always for your pet to feel safe & loved while you're away! I'm happy to send photo updates so you can feel at ease as well! I will also care for your kitties! Hi! I’m Jade! I recently moved back to my hometown after spending the last five years living in Colorado, and I’m taking this season to slow down a little, spend time with family, and enjoy being back home. I’ve had a bit of a colorful career path! I’ve spent years as a private nanny and household manager, worked in property management, attended school for Interior Design, and now work in management and social media marketing. Through all of it, I’ve always loved work that involves caring for people, creating beautiful spaces, and making life a little easier for others. Outside of work, I’m a creative and an adventurer at heart. I love acrylic painting, interior design, hiking, cooking homemade recipes, road trips, and traveling to new places. Give me a beautiful trail, a little town I’ve never explored, a paintbrush, or something new to cook and I’m happy. I also had a dog of my own who I had to say goodbye to a few years ago, and I’ve really missed having that companionship in my everyday life. My current work gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day, with especially open availability on Sundays and Mondays. I’m happy to follow whatever routine makes your pet happiest—whether that’s long walks and adventures, backyard playtime, or lots of couch snuggles. Most importantly, I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your little family member is with someone who will genuinely love and care for them. I take them to the dog park, long walks, roaming around in fenced in yards, & lots of snuggles. Whatever you are comfortable with and whatever your dog's typical routine is- I will make sure they are fulfilled.

About: I love pets, and a great walk. I just lost my pup recently so I think this would help. I have a genuine heart, time and patience for your pets. I have taken a pet through general puppy training, and I have also administered shots for an ill pup. I own 2 cats so I love a feline as well. ❤️ About me, I am easy going, trustworthy, caring and kind. I am very detail oriented and observant which I believe are key traits in caring for pets. And I’ll bring the treats! I’m very flexible currently, name the time and I can put on my schedule. I am in easy to work with, and will be on time I care for my pets as if they are kids. They have the bed, treats, food and all the snuggles they need. I did have a pet with diabetes and so I can do shots if necessary

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have three Portuguese Water Dogs. I train and handle them in multiple dog sports such as agility and dock diving. I am semi retired after selling my business a year ago. Not one to sit still for too long, I think pet caregiving is a great avenue to channel my energy. My schedule is very flexible so I can work this in. I am very safety conscious. At my home we have a fully fenced yard. When out walking, I am always aware of surroundings and what might trigger a pet. I aim to be proactive and in control at all times

About: I've cared for dogs big and small for about 8 years. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, feed and stay overnight with their pets. I have experience with epileptic dogs, senior dogs, medication, active supervision, etc. I recently transitions to dog walking/sitting full time to focus on building my own business, so I am now available on Monday through Friday, at 9am-5pm for drop ins/walks. I can stop by for 30-60 minutes to refill water, let out dogs, scoop litter or give medicine at any exact time. I can also easily kennel if needed.

Colleen is personable and friendly and clearly a dog lover! She connected quickly to my Bella and at our meet and greet. We had a great conversation and she let me know all the ways she was respectful of how an owner takes care of their pet when she cared for them. Over the course of the three walks this weekend, she communicated regularly and provided updates as requested! We're looking forward to working with her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
