About: Hi! My name is Laura and I am a recent graduate from Virginia Tech. I have had a life-long passion for taking care of animals and hope to care for yours. Throughout my life I have cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, horses, cows, pigs, chickens, and much more! I love all animals, big and small, and am able to watch over your household pets and/or any farm pets. I have had dogs my entire life, currently a proud pup owner of my hyper, loving golden retriever, and I know all the ins and outs of canine care. I provide play-time, grooming, walks/dog park visits, food/water cleaning and replenishment, medical aid, and so much more for your pup(s). I have training experience with puppies, and can handle all temperaments. Elderly dogs hold a special place in my heart so I will ensure their safety and comfortability. I provide house visits and walks any day of the week. I also have my own vehicle so reliable transportation is not an issue. About: I currently work as a caretaker at a dog daycare center, where I care for dogs with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and play styles every day. Whether your dog is super energetic, anxious, older, or just needs a little extra patience and attention, I’m more than comfortable adapting to their needs. With dogs, I’m very patient and comfortable with all personalities, including high-energy, excitable, or anxious dogs. I focus on calm and respectful handling and try to help very anxious dogs feel safe by giving them space, approaching slowly, and using gentle reassurance like calm voice and light petting on their side when appropriate. I pay attention to body language and always aim to build trust rather than pressure them into an interaction. If a dog is acting out, I redirect their attention and follow any training or behavior instructions provided by the owner. With cats, I’m used to reading their behavior and giving them the space or attention they want. I understand that many cats are super independent and are protective about their space, but I also enjoy working with affectionate, social cats. I have experience caring for kittens, including feeding and basic hands-on care, as well as senior cats who may need routine medication or any extra attention.

I am currently unemployed and looking for something to do during my days. I enjoy working with animals, and have always had a pet my entire life. I have a dog and a cat. I take my dog on daily walks and have play time with her. My cat loves to play with her as well when I’m gone running errands.

About: My pup is an older King Charles clavier mix and the sweetest thing ever. She just had her 12th birthday and I have had her since she was 2! I also have experience with big dogs! My boyfriend has a German shepherd and a Rottweiler who I spend lots of time around. One of my roommates at school also has a cat who lives with us! I have experience watching both dogs and cats and just have a deep love for the both!! I am currently working part-time doing an internship for my school, which has given me lots of free time. I love spending time with my pup either just relaxing, going for walks, or playing. My pup is very well trained which makes it very easy for me to take her out as she doesn’t require a leash. However, I have experience with dogs who have a tendency to run if they get the chance 😂 So I am familiar with adjusting to different dogs needs!

About: Our little family (Nathan, Kelly, and our kids) are raising Huck, a 1 year old Yellow Lab. We’ve trained him and are found walking around town with him often. As dog owners, we know how much it means to us when someone we trust is able to watch our dog. Now we want to give the same option to other pet owners. While most of our experience is with dogs, my wife can also cat sit and we also have had a fish in recent years. We are laid back, but also have some active hobbies, such as hiking, kayaking and traveling. We would love to hang out, walk, play, and feed your pup in the comfort of his or her home, or welcome him or her to ours. In addition to Huck, Kelly and I rescued a reactive dog with separation anxiety and had him for several years. I grew up with a mini-Pom and also helped raise a golden retriever from a puppy. We also have many friends with dogs and sit for them frequently. We are very comfortable administering oral medication but since we will be bringing the dog around our family, the dog should not be aggressive or reactive. We are at home most days and we homeschool and work from home for several days throughout the week. We are happy to work with your schedule to support your pet. We love to play with dogs. Our kids have been around dogs since they were very young and love cats as well, although we don’t have one.

About: I have taken care of Dogs when I was little. I worked with a Family Friend who had a Dog Sitting business and he trained me to work with different kinds of breed such as Golden Retrievers, Labs, German Shepherds, Pugs and Bulldogs. I can do in home visits or walk your paw baby. Know that they will be in good hands with me! I currently am attending high school for half the day so my afternoons and evenings are free for dog walking or sitting at any time needed for you! I have a German Shepherd, Lyra and I care for her at home, I train her in my basement, and I take her on walks. I can read a dog’s body language in order to see how they feel and address them accordingly.

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have three Portuguese Water Dogs. I train and handle them in multiple dog sports such as agility and dock diving. I am semi retired after selling my business a year ago. Not one to sit still for too long, I think pet caregiving is a great avenue to channel my energy. My schedule is very flexible so I can work this in. I am very safety conscious. At my home we have a fully fenced yard. When out walking, I am always aware of surroundings and what might trigger a pet. I aim to be proactive and in control at all times

About: Ever since I was around ten years old I was the neighborhood’s go-to guy for any kind of pet care they needed while away. I’ve had multiple pets in my lifetime and have developed the skills I need to create a bond with any animal I meet. I’m currently available anytime you might need pet care. I’m happy to check up on your pets early in the morning as well as very late depending on your needs. I make sure to be very respectful of peoples homes and try to keep everything neat and as I found it. I like to play with pets where they are comfortable in their own space.
