About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. We currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. We are able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. We treat every animal as if it were our own and provide a level of care that we would expect from our pet care provider.

About: As a child, my household had many pets through the years, which led me to volunteer at an animal shelter while in college. Around that time I also worked with animals, at a pet shop and later with a conservation group. I adore pets and always insure they feel safe and comfortable with me. I am able to read a their body language and communicate well both verbally and nonverbally. I have attended dog training classes, read multiple books about caring for pets, and watched videos for further education. At the same time, every animal is different and has their own unique personality, and it’s a joy and reward to get to know each one. I have had pets in the past, but because I travel often and enjoy pet sitting so much I find just as much joy in taking care of my clients' animals! Currently I am converting a van into a camper to continue traveling the country and meeting as many cool cats (and dogs!) as I can :) While I may not be able to provide sitting services in every location long term, I believe I bring a love of animals and joy to each sit that makes sure every pet I care for is happy and each client feels peace of mind while they are away! I am self-employed, so my schedule is quite flexible to accommodate your pets' usual routines! I may be in and out throughout the day, but I always discuss first what is normal for your pet and how I can best replicate their home life. I care for pets in my clients' homes, and I follow all written/verbal instructions given to me on pet & home care. I treat the animals and home as if they were my own, and if I have any questions I never hesitate to reach out. I am a tidy person, often a homebody in the evenings, and maintain a high level of respect for both my clients and their lovely pets.

About: I’ve had dogs of my own my whole life. I’ve been taking care of others’ dogs for many years. I have experience with various breeds and sizes. Willing to do occasional jobs or recurring ones. I had to put set prices into my profile, but willing to discuss. I’m currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule. I am available any weekday and, with notice, can be available on weekends as well. I do not provide care in my home, but would love to come to your home where your dogs are most comfortable. I will provide any care needed- letting out in a fenced yard, taking for walks, feeding, administering meds, etc.

I live in Charles Town, WV with my two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Louie, and two cats, Tatiana and Rudy — so your pet is walking into a home that already loves animals. I take a slow, easy approach to dog care. I let dogs sniff, wander, and just be themselves, whether we’re doing a neighborhood walk, a quick potty break, or a longer trail outing. Every walk is just two dogs at most, so your pup gets real time and attention. I always send photo updates along the way so you can see how they’re doing. I welcome dogs of all sizes who are friendly with other dogs, cats, and people. For boarding, I have a large fenced backyard and keep things small and relaxed — more like a home than a kennel. I also offer occasional house sitting for dogs who are happiest in their own space. I’d love to meet your pup! Feel free to reach out to check availability or set up a meet-and-greet. Fridays are my day off, so walks are unhurried and get my full attention. For boarding, I'm home all weekend, so any dog staying with me has someone around rather than sitting alone in an empty house. Dogs staying with me have access to a large fenced backyard and are never left alone outside. Inside, I keep a calm, low-stimulation environment. My Cavalier Louie lives here full time, so any boarding dog will be introduced to him gradually and supervised until I'm confident they're comfortable together. I do a meet and greet with Louie before confirming any boarding stay. For house sitting, I follow the owner's routine as closely as possible so the dog's environment feels as normal as it can while they're away. Photo updates are sent throughout any service.

About: I have been around animals my whole life and want to spoil yours! I have owned cats and dogs both and take care of many of my neighbors pets all the time! I am the person who is always getting distracted and running late because I ran into a dog that needed to be pet! I am not currently working so I am free to walk and take care of your pets full time! I can easily adjust my schedule to stay overnight if needed and just visit if not! I have lots of experience walking dogs safely (my last dog was a beagle, so I know how the nose can lead a dog!) I am happy to crate your dog and keep them safe at your home and in your yard and neighborhood!

About: I've taken care of dogs and animals in general since I was 16 years old for neighbors and family members. I am comfortable will all dog breeds and ages, and have experience with different types of dogs. I have a German Shepard that needs frequent play time and takes medicine daily; I am comfortable giving medicine to dogs. i am a part time student so i have class on thursday at 4pm. i am available during the week except for tuesday’s and maybe thursday but my class is online so as long as your comfortable with me doing my school work while i pet sit! i can do weekends! i want to be more active so i’m up for dogs who love exercise but i can also chill with dogs who are a little older or aren’t as active. i am comfortable with doing anything the pet needs for its comfort/routine.

About: I’ve had the pleasure of raising a dog from 9 weeks old to his current 13 years. I’ve been there every step of the way, from puppyhood to adulthood and senior years. Plus, my dog tore his ACL, so I know firsthand the challenges of keeping your pet safe and out of harm’s way, along with the need for special care and instructions. I am currently a senior student athlete in college with a flexible schedule. I wanted to find a part-time job that I would actually enjoy, and I have always loved being near animals. Coming back home to my dog is always the highlight of my trip, so being near dogs and getting to see the joy on their faces has always made me smile. I think pets are happiest when they’re in their own space, so I’d rather work at someone else’s home. About: Have only had 9 months total of my life without a dog or a pack of them by my side. Your fur baby will be fostered as one of my own; their walk, run, or potty break is all about them! With guidance from you, we will move at their pace. If they want to go for a run... then we run! If they prefer to walk tree to tree and smell every flower, that's fine too! I am available early mornings and mid-days during the week. I also have availability nightly to check on the pups and make sure they're ready for bed. I look forward to meeting the needs of your family, if it be walking or running the dogs, or making sure they are comfortable in your home, just let me know. I am fortunate enough to have a remote role, so my schedule is usually set to my own dog's needs. I am by no means a gym rat or a marathon runner. Yet that doesn't stop me from getting in usually 2-6 miles a day, both walking and running. While my dog is crate trained, it would be great if yours is as well, for those few errands that may take me away for up to 4 hours at a time (a busy week would be 3 half days in the office)
