About: For the last 40+ years I've been caring for my (and others) pets. I've had dogs, cats, horses, birds, ferrets, rats, etc... Animals love calm gentle people. That's me! I have lots of experience with giving meds, grooming, feeding, and handling all types/ages of pets. Unless an animal is actually attacking me, I am never harsh with them. You can count on me to be respectful and gentle with your furbabies. I am currently working part-time so I have lots of extra time to care for your pets. I prefer not to drive after dark if possible. Respect and details matter. I will always respect your home and property. It can be scary to let someone take care of your pets. I understand. I'll always double-check to make sure everything is done right, and that the gate is closed behind me! :-)

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 5. I’ve always believed that they should be shown so much love and compassion. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats of varying ages. I have looked after animals of all sizes and ages so I am well prepared. I have experience with feeding, walking, bathing, bathing, nail trimming, and medication giving. I currently am putting my full attention into pet care so I will have plenty of time available to take care of your furry family members. I am available all week days and most weekends. About: I have been animal sitting for almost 9 years now, starting when I was in high school. I have experience in animal care for multiple species, energy levels, behaviors, ages, and health needs. No task is too big for me, my biggest job was being a sitter for a family of 10 dogs, and a pig! I worked at a nonprofit animal rescue where I learned more about how to care for cats and dogs, and how to gauge their personalities, and energy levels. I am passionate about animal happiness and satisfaction. Right now, I am completely free. I have a car and a valid drivers license. I just moved back home after hiking for 4 months on the Appalachian trail, while walking I had lots of time to think about my passions, and of those are animal welfare, care, and personally staying active and fit! I have two personal dogs, one of which is a senior in hospice care, out of respect for him, I am not taking animals into my home right now. However, any type of drop-ins or house-sitting is on the table. I take direction seriously and can provide medical care, activity, play, feeding, or anything else that is needed for your beloved animal!

About: I’ve had dogs of my own my whole life. I’ve been taking care of others’ dogs for many years. I have experience with various breeds and sizes. Willing to do occasional jobs or recurring ones. I had to put set prices into my profile, but willing to discuss. I’m currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule. I am available any weekday and, with notice, can be available on weekends as well. I do not provide care in my home, but would love to come to your home where your dogs are most comfortable. I will provide any care needed- letting out in a fenced yard, taking for walks, feeding, administering meds, etc.

Rest assured that as a mother of a dog a cat and 15 chickens, I also understand their anxieties when their routine is disrupted by Mom or Dad taking time off. I have a deep love of all animals and will shower them with affection and take care of their specific needs as you require. Your pets will be well cared for while you are gone. Communication via phone or social media as desired while you are away. Will walk and talk to your pet as if they are family. Can also administer medication if needed.

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have three Portuguese Water Dogs. I train and handle them in multiple dog sports such as agility and dock diving. I am semi retired after selling my business a year ago. Not one to sit still for too long, I think pet caregiving is a great avenue to channel my energy. My schedule is very flexible so I can work this in. I am very safety conscious. At my home we have a fully fenced yard. When out walking, I am always aware of surroundings and what might trigger a pet. I aim to be proactive and in control at all times

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I can remember. I’ve always had a dog in my life, taking care of them was my main priority in my house! Making sure they ate, went on walks & bathed. I am currently unemployed since I just had my baby. So I have all the time in the world to make sure your furry loved one is taken care of! I have a very friendly dog who loves to play & a big back yard where they can run & play. At your house I will let them also get out & enjoy their time outside as well as inside. Will make sure they are bathed & fed & taken out when needed to.

About: I’ve had dogs as a child and well into my adulthood. We, as a family, have never not had to care for an animal at all different stages. We are definitely a dog family. I have enjoyed caring for friend fur babies as well over the years. Overnight stays, snuggles, play time, walking. bathing, light training, medication and care in late stages of life are all many things I experienced the last 30 years of being a pet owner. I am working part time from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your schedule and any last minute life changes that may arise. I feel keeping our pet’s happy is about their comfort. Toys, item of clothing with owners sent and not shifting their daily schedule is most important when caring for pets while their owners are away. My goal is to keep them in their daily normalcy of comfort, what ever that looks like for each pet , with a lot of extra love or comfortable space they need. A clients home would be treated with the same respect as my own and left as found.

About: I started my animal care journey at a daycare/ boarding facility, then worked as a companion animal leader at 2 different petco locations for 3 years, now I am a certified veterinary assistant and have over 3,000 hours working in a vet hospital. I’m currently working full time 4 days a week which gives me plenty of time to play with your fur babies!! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m completely open on weekends! I will be able to meet all of the client’s requirements when it comes to helping them out inside their house. Respecting their wants and needs and doing everything in my power to make my service a rememberable time.

Through all of it, I’ve always loved work that involves caring for people, creating beautiful spaces, and making life a little easier for others. Give me a beautiful trail, a little town I’ve never explored, a paintbrush, or something new to cook and I’m happy. I also had a dog of my own who I had to say goodbye to a few years ago, and I’ve really missed having that companionship in my everyday life. My current work gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day, with especially open availability on Sundays and Mondays. I’m happy to follow whatever routine makes your pet happiest—whether that’s long walks and adventures, backyard playtime, or lots of couch snuggles. Most importantly, I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your little family member is with someone who will genuinely love and care for them. I take them to the dog park, long walks, roaming around in fenced in yards, & lots of snuggles. Whatever you are comfortable with and whatever your dog's typical routine is- I will make sure they are fulfilled.

About: I’ve lived with pets all my life and currently have one indoor cat (spayed, friendly) and one dog (spayed, spends most time outside). I’ve done dog sitting for up to two weeks in the past and cat sitting for up to one month both in my home and at pet owners’ homes. Though I prefer felines as they’re easier to manage, small/medium dogs are certainly welcome — as long as they’re not too vocal. I am a long distance runner and hiker, so no walking distance is too far for me! My arm strength does have a limit, so any dogs over 30 pounds who pull/aren’t fully leash trained are a no-go. Additionally, I’ve done pet sitting for guinea pigs and rabbits for 1-3 day periods! I work part time and do most work from home, so I’m continuously available all week. My home is right next to the W&OD trail, so walks are convenient all times of day and the trail is never crowded. I’m always happy to drive pets to the trail as well. My cat remains entirely indoors, but the dog has endless pits of energy and so spends lots of time outside. We have two fenced areas, one specifically for the dog and another for the pool, along with ~1 acre of unfenced yard.
