About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. We currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. We are able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. We treat every animal as if it were our own and provide a level of care that we would expect from our pet care provider.

About: I manage a busy, diverse household of my own, which means I am highly experienced, unfazed by complex routines, and comfortable handling a wide variety of personalities. My personal pack includes: Two Large Dogs & A Cat: I am fully accustomed to the distinct needs, energy levels, and feeding structures of both large dogs and cats. A Flock of 43 Chickens: Managing a large flock has given me a deep understanding of animal husbandry, strict feeding schedules, flock safety, and overall bird wellness. Hermit Crabs: I even have experience with the precise humidity, environmental, and dietary care required for exotic pocket pets! Because I handle such a diverse group of animals daily, I am incredibly observant, highly organized, and detail-oriented. I will precisely follow your feeding instructions, medication schedules, and specific care routines down to the letter. My days are structured but highly adaptive, meaning I can easily step away to accommodate last-minute, short-notice, or same-day drop-in requests for local pet parents. All pet care will be in your own home, allowing you more freedom in your day! Trustworthy, reliable, punctual, mature. I will treat your home and pets just like my own!

About: With over 20 years of hands-on experience, caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s been a lifelong passion. From a young age, I’ve been surrounded by animals and have dedicated my life to understanding and supporting their needs. I am a certified veterinary assistant and have worked professionally as a veterinary technician in a veterinary office in Utah, giving me a strong medical background and the ability to recognize and respond to a wide range of health and behavioral concerns. My experience also includes working in multiple kennels across many states where I cared for both dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I am open most days, as I homeschool my child. Saturday afternoons are usually reserved for personal time but I am available in the morning and night. I can let your dog out in your back yard, take them for a walk, clean litter boxes, do playtime, give food, water, and medications on their schedule.

I live in Charles Town, WV with my two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Louie, and two cats, Tatiana and Rudy — so your pet is walking into a home that already loves animals. I take a slow, easy approach to dog care. I let dogs sniff, wander, and just be themselves, whether we’re doing a neighborhood walk, a quick potty break, or a longer trail outing. Every walk is just two dogs at most, so your pup gets real time and attention. I always send photo updates along the way so you can see how they’re doing. I welcome dogs of all sizes who are friendly with other dogs, cats, and people. For boarding, I have a large fenced backyard and keep things small and relaxed — more like a home than a kennel. I also offer occasional house sitting for dogs who are happiest in their own space. I’d love to meet your pup! Feel free to reach out to check availability or set up a meet-and-greet. Fridays are my day off, so walks are unhurried and get my full attention. For boarding, I'm home all weekend, so any dog staying with me has someone around rather than sitting alone in an empty house. Dogs staying with me have access to a large fenced backyard and are never left alone outside. Inside, I keep a calm, low-stimulation environment. My Cavalier Louie lives here full time, so any boarding dog will be introduced to him gradually and supervised until I'm confident they're comfortable together. I do a meet and greet with Louie before confirming any boarding stay. For house sitting, I follow the owner's routine as closely as possible so the dog's environment feels as normal as it can while they're away. Photo updates are sent throughout any service.

About: Hi, I'm restarting my animal care business. I want to ensure a stimulated experience with a swift pace and consistent disciplined walking style of what I like to refer to as "nose to toes," where the dogs stay no further than my toe, to my sides, or behind me. I also have experience with aggressive dog behavior, so if a single walk is necessary, I can do that. I have been in the animal care business for as long as I can remember, and I know Fairlington very well since I grew up here. I now live in Harper's Ferry in West Virginia. I will be able to track my walks with a phone app that will track your dog's walking pace, distance traveled, and the route we take. I usually do pack walks of 3-5 dogs depending on size, but I can do singles if needed. I'm also able to cat-sit/dog-sit and care for exotics and birds (no insects). I'm flexible because I have my own cleaning/organizing/declutter business. I wake up however early dog might need be let out or pet given meds, and give at least 3 long 30min-hour walks depending on the energy level and few let outs throught the day if needed for young pups or older if bladder is sensitive. Plenty of loves and can work on training or stimulated play time with toys and puzzles. I will be professional and not have any guests over ever, and always keep doors locked when not there and if plants need care I can help with watering. I have 4 animals myself so it's pretty automatic to just add another pet cuz I've cared for multiple animals at a time or drop in visits when needed throughout my day. Whatever the fmaily requests for schedule when to feed, medicate(if needed), amount of walks and play time needed to make sure they're healthy and stimulated. Whenever they're ready for bed, crate if needed requested by parents, and make sure they go outside(dogs) to ensure no accidents throughout the night. I give them just as much love and attention and play as my own. And feed round same schedule unless instructed otherwise. Giving exercise and play time when needed. And kept to routine of crating if owners instruct.

About: I've had pets since I was a kid, from Rottweilers to Pekingese. I have experience with young pups, caring for seniors, and higher energy breeds. I've adopted all my dogs and have experience with crate training, leash training, and potty training. My home is very quiet and equip with a Big Barker, toys, a big back yard, and a quiet 5-mile road for walks. I'm home most of the time, outside of occasional weekend markets for my business. On those days, I would be available after 3 PM. I am a master student with flexible time to fit your pets needs. My house is very quiet with a big back yard and a quiet 5-mile gravel trail right out our front door. I'm able to feed, brush, walk, snuggle, and play to meet a pups needs.

About: My whole life we had cats and dogs. I have house sat for neighbors and friends with pets since I was ten years old. I currently own a rabbit. I have also cared for all kinds of rodents, fish, and reptiles. I have trained puppies and kittens and a bunny. I also cared for my older dachshund and gave him shots and necessary medications. I work part time teaching yoga throughout the week and have lots of availability. I only have custody of my kids every other week making my week without them a great time for extra hours and house sitting. I keep pets from being hungry, thirsty, or bored. I keep pets nicely groomed and their areas and things nicely cleaned. I offer direct focus and affection. I can walk or run with dogs. I love doing yoga on the floor and watching cats or my rabbit climb all over me and get affection.

I am the person who is always getting distracted and running late because I ran into a dog that needed to be pet! I am not currently working so I am free to walk and take care of your pets full time!
