About: For the last 40+ years I've been caring for my (and others) pets. I've had dogs, cats, horses, birds, ferrets, rats, etc... Animals love calm gentle people. That's me! I have lots of experience with giving meds, grooming, feeding, and handling all types/ages of pets. Unless an animal is actually attacking me, I am never harsh with them. You can count on me to be respectful and gentle with your furbabies. I am currently working part-time so I have lots of extra time to care for your pets. I prefer not to drive after dark if possible. Respect and details matter. I will always respect your home and property. It can be scary to let someone take care of your pets. I understand. I'll always double-check to make sure everything is done right, and that the gate is closed behind me! :-)

About: Do you need somebody to take care of your fur baby? We are a married couple who absolutely adores animals! We have 20+ years of experience taking care of animals from walking dogs to changing litter boxes. Between the two of us, we have adopted two cats, one geriatric dog, and two rabbits. We've administered medicine as well. We promise to love your pets as our own! We have all sorts of availability. We work from home which allows us to flex our hours and take long breaks if needed. About: I have been animal sitting for almost 9 years now, starting when I was in high school. I have experience in animal care for multiple species, energy levels, behaviors, ages, and health needs. No task is too big for me, my biggest job was being a sitter for a family of 10 dogs, and a pig! I worked at a nonprofit animal rescue where I learned more about how to care for cats and dogs, and how to gauge their personalities, and energy levels. About: Hi, I'm restarting my animal care business. I want to ensure a stimulated experience with a swift pace and consistent disciplined walking style of what I like to refer to as "nose to toes," where the dogs stay no further than my toe, to my sides, or behind me. I also have experience with aggressive dog behavior, so if a single walk is necessary, I can do that. I have been in the animal care business for as long as I can remember, and I know Fairlington very well since I grew up here. I now live in Harper's Ferry in West Virginia. I will be able to track my walks with a phone app that will track your dog's walking pace, distance traveled, and the route we take. I usually do pack walks of 3-5 dogs depending on size, but I can do singles if needed. I'm also able to cat-sit/dog-sit and care for exotics and birds (no insects). I'm flexible because I have my own cleaning/organizing/declutter business. I wake up however early dog might need be let out or pet given meds, and give at least 3 long 30min-hour walks depending on the energy level and few let outs throught the day if needed for young pups or older if bladder is sensitive. Plenty of loves and can work on training or stimulated play time with toys and puzzles. I will be professional and not have any guests over ever, and always keep doors locked when not there and if plants need care I can help with watering. I have 4 animals myself so it's pretty automatic to just add another pet cuz I've cared for multiple animals at a time or drop in visits when needed throughout my day. Whatever the fmaily requests for schedule when to feed, medicate(if needed), amount of walks and play time needed to make sure they're healthy and stimulated. Whenever they're ready for bed, crate if needed requested by parents, and make sure they go outside(dogs) to ensure no accidents throughout the night. I give them just as much love and attention and play as my own. And feed round same schedule unless instructed otherwise. Giving exercise and play time when needed. And kept to routine of crating if owners instruct.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. Cats since I was 11. I have ridden and worked with horses since I was 5. I do all my animals vetting minus their rabies vaccinations. I have a senior Husky, a three year old German Shepherd and an eleven month old Pitbull/German shepherd mix. I have a ball python as well as two eight year old tuxedo cats. I love them all! All my babies are spoiled rotten and I share in the spoils! I currently stay at home and I'm a football mom so I have an open schedule around practices and games to take care of needs of others! I currently do not offer boarding as I do not have a fence. My dogs and I love to lounge around, play and adventure the yard for all the new smells. My babies have my full house to roam and are only put up when I leave as they are mischievous and get themselves into trouble. We go out every few hours to potty and roam the yard to smell all the smells, because you never know who has been in the yard in the last two hours! We must patrol! Lots of walks and toys! In your home, it is whatever you and your pet need! Walks, playtime, medication, pop-ins.

About: As a child, my household had many pets through the years, which led me to volunteer at an animal shelter while in college. Around that time I also worked with animals, at a pet shop and later with a conservation group. I adore pets and always insure they feel safe and comfortable with me. I am able to read a their body language and communicate well both verbally and nonverbally. I have attended dog training classes, read multiple books about caring for pets, and watched videos for further education. At the same time, every animal is different and has their own unique personality, and it’s a joy and reward to get to know each one. I have had pets in the past, but because I travel often and enjoy pet sitting so much I find just as much joy in taking care of my clients' animals! Currently I am converting a van into a camper to continue traveling the country and meeting as many cool cats (and dogs!) as I can :) While I may not be able to provide sitting services in every location long term, I believe I bring a love of animals and joy to each sit that makes sure every pet I care for is happy and each client feels peace of mind while they are away! About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I look out for them. I believe exercise is critical. I care about their comfort and nutrition, including constant fresh water! I like to have notes on personalities and habits of the dogs I care for so as to help the animal feel comfortable. I prefer dogs that have been crate trained or trained for healthy habits. A crate is a necessary tool and a dog should feel safe in a crate. If I need to step out for any reason, your dog will be put in a crate for their safety (or your preferred method). Favorite toys and bedding is encouraged. Please know that your dog is safe and cared for while in my supervision. I'm home most of the day with the exception of a few hours(3-3 1/2) so, your dog will have my attention and care! Besides, all dogs need naps, right? :-) Holiday rates will apply to all of my services. Mostly retired. Why not use my time to care for wonderful animals? I currently have 3 cats. My dogs are gone but not forgotten, r.i.p. ♥ I have a fenced yard and a cat-tio. Safety is utmost important to me while caring for animals. Trust me, I care immensely. No worries.

Much of my experience comes from working at PetSmart and owning most of these animals myself! I have 2 Rottweiler/Husky mixes, 2 cats, a cornsnake, 5 birds (Sun Conure, Green Cheek Conure, Cockatiel, and 2 Budgies!), 3 axolotls, one tank of Koi and Goldfish, and another tank of tropical fish! I currently work part-time at PetSmart as a pet caretaker! I have Thursdays off, but my work schedule doesn't normally get in the way. I always wait for an animal to greet me first to avoid stressing the pet out. I normally have calming chews and treats on me to try to encourage the animal that I am not a threat.
