About: Hi, I'm restarting my animal care business. I want to ensure a stimulated experience with a swift pace and consistent disciplined walking style of what I like to refer to as "nose to toes," where the dogs stay no further than my toe, to my sides, or behind me. I also have experience with aggressive dog behavior, so if a single walk is necessary, I can do that. I have been in the animal care business for as long as I can remember, and I know Fairlington very well since I grew up here. I now live in Harper's Ferry in West Virginia. I will be able to track my walks with a phone app that will track your dog's walking pace, distance traveled, and the route we take. I usually do pack walks of 3-5 dogs depending on size, but I can do singles if needed. I'm also able to cat-sit/dog-sit and care for exotics and birds (no insects). I'm flexible because I have my own cleaning/organizing/declutter business. I wake up however early dog might need be let out or pet given meds, and give at least 3 long 30min-hour walks depending on the energy level and few let outs throught the day if needed for young pups or older if bladder is sensitive. Plenty of loves and can work on training or stimulated play time with toys and puzzles. I will be professional and not have any guests over ever, and always keep doors locked when not there and if plants need care I can help with watering. I have 4 animals myself so it's pretty automatic to just add another pet cuz I've cared for multiple animals at a time or drop in visits when needed throughout my day. Whatever the fmaily requests for schedule when to feed, medicate(if needed), amount of walks and play time needed to make sure they're healthy and stimulated. Whenever they're ready for bed, crate if needed requested by parents, and make sure they go outside(dogs) to ensure no accidents throughout the night. I give them just as much love and attention and play as my own. And feed round same schedule unless instructed otherwise. Giving exercise and play time when needed. And kept to routine of crating if owners instruct.

About: I have been animal sitting for almost 9 years now, starting when I was in high school. I have experience in animal care for multiple species, energy levels, behaviors, ages, and health needs. No task is too big for me, my biggest job was being a sitter for a family of 10 dogs, and a pig! I worked at a nonprofit animal rescue where I learned more about how to care for cats and dogs, and how to gauge their personalities, and energy levels. I am passionate about animal happiness and satisfaction. Right now, I am completely free. I have a car and a valid drivers license. I just moved back home after hiking for 4 months on the Appalachian trail, while walking I had lots of time to think about my passions, and of those are animal welfare, care, and personally staying active and fit! I have two personal dogs, one of which is a senior in hospice care, out of respect for him, I am not taking animals into my home right now. However, any type of drop-ins or house-sitting is on the table. I take direction seriously and can provide medical care, activity, play, feeding, or anything else that is needed for your beloved animal!

About: I’ve had dogs of my own my whole life. I’ve been taking care of others’ dogs for many years. I have experience with various breeds and sizes. Willing to do occasional jobs or recurring ones. I had to put set prices into my profile, but willing to discuss. I’m currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule. I am available any weekday and, with notice, can be available on weekends as well. I do not provide care in my home, but would love to come to your home where your dogs are most comfortable. I will provide any care needed- letting out in a fenced yard, taking for walks, feeding, administering meds, etc.

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have three Portuguese Water Dogs. I train and handle them in multiple dog sports such as agility and dock diving. I am semi retired after selling my business a year ago. Not one to sit still for too long, I think pet caregiving is a great avenue to channel my energy. My schedule is very flexible so I can work this in. I am very safety conscious. At my home we have a fully fenced yard. When out walking, I am always aware of surroundings and what might trigger a pet. I aim to be proactive and in control at all times

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and I volunteer at the shelter walking dogs. I’m comfortable with all sizes and types of dogs. I work every day 2pm - 10pm so I’m available any day to walk in the mornings or anytime before 1. I can come as often as needed before that time. I am looking to walk dogs not pet sit. But I have 7 cats at home, I foster/rescue cats so my home in unavailable.

About: I’ve been solely in change of taking care of my family’s dogs since 2020 when I raised my dog over covid, I have also fed and let out neighborhood dogs when needed. I’m working part time at a restaurant while I’m home from college this summer so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your dog! I will not differ from your instructions unless necessary but when necessary I can act quickly to adjust on my feet. I know that dogs are unpredictable so I am prepared for whatever comes.

About: Have only had 9 months total of my life without a dog or a pack of them by my side. Your fur baby will be fostered as one of my own; their walk, run, or potty break is all about them! With guidance from you, we will move at their pace. If they want to go for a run... then we run! If they prefer to walk tree to tree and smell every flower, that's fine too! I am available early mornings and mid-days during the week. I also have availability nightly to check on the pups and make sure they're ready for bed. I look forward to meeting the needs of your family, if it be walking or running the dogs, or making sure they are comfortable in your home, just let me know. I am fortunate enough to have a remote role, so my schedule is usually set to my own dog's needs. I am by no means a gym rat or a marathon runner. Yet that doesn't stop me from getting in usually 2-6 miles a day, both walking and running. While my dog is crate trained, it would be great if yours is as well, for those few errands that may take me away for up to 4 hours at a time (a busy week would be 3 half days in the office)

About: My whole life we had cats and dogs. I have house sat for neighbors and friends with pets since I was ten years old. I currently own a rabbit. I have also cared for all kinds of rodents, fish, and reptiles. I have trained puppies and kittens and a bunny. I also cared for my older dachshund and gave him shots and necessary medications. I work part time teaching yoga throughout the week and have lots of availability. I only have custody of my kids every other week making my week without them a great time for extra hours and house sitting. I keep pets from being hungry, thirsty, or bored. I keep pets nicely groomed and their areas and things nicely cleaned. I offer direct focus and affection. I can walk or run with dogs. I love doing yoga on the floor and watching cats or my rabbit climb all over me and get affection.

About: I have a wide variety of sitting experience as I have cared for dogs, snakes, chickens, goats and even emus! There is no challenge too big and as long as you’re willing to show me how to care for your pet, I’ll be quick to learn! I generally have a very open schedule. I like to keep busy by spending my time in valuable ways and am always down for an afternoon of play! I am a detail oriented individual and, unless otherwise requested, I keep a detailed log of what I do when so that families know as much as possible about how their pets have spent their time. This also gives assurance that in the case of emergency, you’ll be able to see if anything happened that may have caused an adverse reaction in your pet. More of a precaution than anything as you can never be to careful when it comes to your precious animals!

About: I’m a huge pet lover and have taken care of various types of dogs since I was 15. I’m well experienced in maintaining pet's specific routines such as diets, walks, playtime/interactions, sleep schedules and medications. My goal is always to present a consistent, safe and healthy environment, but also provide a loving and beneficial experience as well for both pets and parents. I am also quite successful in skill training :) I am currently VCU student taking classes Monday through Thursday. I am free in the mornings, midday/ afternoons and anytime after 6 during the week and Friday through Sunday, I am available all hours. I do my best to be considerate when inside a pet owners home to make sure pets don’t feel invaded or unsafe just for the best possible outcome. My place is pretty open and pets are welcome to roam around and/ or be crated if instructed by parents. There is a big open park right next to my building perfect for doggo’s to go on walks.

About: What sets me apart is that I’m a super loving and compassionate person. Animals have a special place in my heart. I stop and try to pet dogs every time I can. Pets are not just pets! They are family! I currently work remote and I have a flexible schedule. I have the time and space to help take care of your fur babies with love and compassion. About: I spent twelve years caring for my German Shepherd, Tyson, who taught me the importance of patience, trust, & routine. I’m happy to follow whatever routine makes your pet happiest—whether that’s long walks and adventures, backyard playtime, or lots of couch snuggles. Most importantly, I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your little family member is with someone who will genuinely love and care for them. I take them to the dog park, long walks, roaming around in fenced in yards, & lots of snuggles. Whatever you are comfortable with and whatever your dog's typical routine is- I will make sure they are fulfilled.

About: I graduated college with my Bachelors in Animal Studies with a Minor in Psychology. Through my college experience I have gotten to work with cats, dogs, reptiles, farm animals, and pocket pets! I have over 8+ years of experiences with pet care inside/outside of college as well. I have watched/had pets ranging from cats, dogs, reptiles, small pets, and pocket pets! What sets me apart from other pet sitters is I take the time and dedication to help you and your pet out! I always send daily updates of your pets and take the time to make sure your pet is happy while you are away. I treat others pets as my own and make sure they have the upmost health while they are in my care. I also have experience with administering medications topically, orally, and injections. I currently work at a dog boarding facility so I am very familiar with canine needs! I grew up with various breeds of dogs AND cats so animals are nothing new to me :) I work full-time at a Dog Boarding Facility! I keep my schedule on Rover up to date that way both clients and I can be connected on the same page! I'm available for walks in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings (depending on schedule). I am also able to dog pet boarding at my home or yours, which ever you are comfortable with! Even though I do not have a fenced in backyard, I leash walk all dogs to make sure they are safe and get plenty of exercise. My cat is also up to date on all their vaccines and are extremely friendly and will keep your pets company! If need be I can also crate your pet if you perfer! I make it a priority to have the safest area for your pets and have trust with the owners that your pets are in great care while you are gone or need help!
