“I was looking for a place to board Sake that was a mid-point between my home to Bryce Mountain to go skiing. I found Maki who was on the way to the slopes. She was very accommodating when I forgot the dry food (Mom Brain), but luckily I brought enough wet food for Sake's meals. I appreciate they were very patient with Sake trying to sleep in her crate at night while I am attempting to crate train her. I was worried she might be howling most of the night, but surprisingly, Sake ended up napping inside her crate after we got home today. This is a new behavior for Sake which I am so happy to see!!!! This is a good sign that she is dreaming of all the fun walks and attention she got from Maki and her family. She shared photos and informed me on all of her walks, her desire to chase a squirrel, and when she peed, pooped, finished her meals, got several belly rubs and chilled at the house. I highly recommend you go to Maki whenever you need boarding. She is conveniently located on the way to the slopes. Upon pick up, her son was kind to carry the crate out to my car and place it in my trunk. I noticed that Sake's belongings were neatly folded, cleaned and organized inside the overnight bag. Sake will definitely return when I need to go back to the mountains for the weekend or day when I am not able to bring her with me. Thank you for taking good care of her. When I see Sake sleeping well after her visit from boarding, that is a positive sign that she had an awesome time with the family.”

I like the fact that she has other dogs because Sammy is very social and likes to play with other dogs. Apparently he got along with her dogs just fine and that makes me happy. He needed some socialization. She sent photos throughout Sammy’s stay in her home. When I picked Sammy up the next day, he seemed very calm and relaxed. He was pretty calm the rest of the evening which was great. I expected a little anxiety when I returned but Sammy seemed peaceful on the drive back home. I live in Charles Town, WV with my two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Louie, and two cats, Tatiana and Rudy — so your pet is walking into a home that already loves animals. I take a slow, easy approach to dog care. I let dogs sniff, wander, and just be themselves, whether we’re doing a neighborhood walk, a quick potty break, or a longer trail outing. Every walk is just two dogs at most, so your pup gets real time and attention. I always send photo updates along the way so you can see how they’re doing. I welcome dogs of all sizes who are friendly with other dogs, cats, and people. For boarding, I have a large fenced backyard and keep things small and relaxed — more like a home than a kennel. I take my aon to school at 7:20, i would be available directly after that until 1:30 or 2 depending on where you live. Then Im available from 3-7. Every morning I feel my dogs and then walk them around our property. Then, I feed the kitty who is usually meowing loudly at me. Then, I scoop her box. She likes it if I scoop her box several times a day. The dogs are fed twice a day, and walked several times. My Dad or I will walk our younger dog Molly around the neighborhood or on the Appalachian trail. Dinner for the dogs is at 7pm and "last pee" is before bedtime (usually 10).

“Five stars for Laura! Due to a family emergency, we had to find a last minute sitter for our lab. Laura was extremely responsive and accommodating throughout the entire experience. During our pup’s stay, we received various photos and videos of him feeling at home and having fun. She clearly loves animals and makes sure your pet is loved. “What can I say? Sarah was fantastic! The whole experience was so easy and wonderful for our dog. Sarah was flexible and very responsive. Super accommodating. She kept us supplied with lots of updates and photos during the whole visit. Our hound sometimes has anxiety during new experiences but she was so well cared for that she felt immediately at ease when we arrived and through the whole visit. Sarah and her wonderful family took such good care of her that I would absolutely want my dog to stay with her again. Highly recommend!”
“Anahita was a life saver for me this past weekend. She was able to care for Sammy with last minute notice, which I really appreciated. I like the fact that she has other dogs because Sammy is very social and likes to play with other dogs. Apparently he got along with her dogs just fine and that makes me happy. He needed some socialization. She sent photos throughout Sammy’s stay in her home. When I picked Sammy up the next day, he seemed very calm and relaxed. He was pretty calm the rest of the evening which was great. I expected a little anxiety when I returned but Sammy seemed peaceful on the drive back home. I think that Anahita’s calm, caring and peaceful personality played a huge part. I appreciate that so much. She pays attention to details that are important to the dog for a successful stay, but is not overly anxious. Thank you so much, Anahita, for caring for Sammy for me. I was able to relax and have a great overnight trip without worrying about Sammy! We will be repeat customers for sure!”
