About: Hi, I’m Tess! I live in Charles Town, WV with my two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Louie, and two cats, Tatiana and Rudy — so your pet is walking into a home that already loves animals. I take a slow, easy approach to dog care. I let dogs sniff, wander, and just be themselves, whether we’re doing a neighborhood walk, a quick potty break, or a longer trail outing. Every walk is just two dogs at most, so your pup gets real time and attention. I always send photo updates along the way so you can see how they’re doing. I welcome dogs of all sizes who are friendly with other dogs, cats, and people. For boarding, I have a large fenced backyard and keep things small and relaxed — more like a home than a kennel. I also offer occasional house sitting for dogs who are happiest in their own space. I’d love to meet your pup! Feel free to reach out to check availability or set up a meet-and-greet. Fridays are my day off, so walks are unhurried and get my full attention. For boarding, I'm home all weekend, so any dog staying with me has someone around rather than sitting alone in an empty house. Dogs staying with me have access to a large fenced backyard and are never left alone outside. Inside, I keep a calm, low-stimulation environment. My Cavalier Louie lives here full time, so any boarding dog will be introduced to him gradually and supervised until I'm confident they're comfortable together. I do a meet and greet with Louie before confirming any boarding stay. For house sitting, I follow the owner's routine as closely as possible so the dog's environment feels as normal as it can while they're away. Photo updates are sent throughout any service.

About: I have grown up surrounded by animals all my life. I have over 7 years of experiences taking care of other peoples’ pets and love to make every animal feel loved, safe, and happy in my care! I have successfully pet sat for many friends, family, and neighbors throughout my life and look forward to getting more experience with your pets! About: I have been animal sitting for almost 9 years now, starting when I was in high school. I have experience in animal care for multiple species, energy levels, behaviors, ages, and health needs. No task is too big for me, my biggest job was being a sitter for a family of 10 dogs, and a pig! I worked at a nonprofit animal rescue where I learned more about how to care for cats and dogs, and how to gauge their personalities, and energy levels. I am passionate about animal happiness and satisfaction. Right now, I am completely free. I have a car and a valid drivers license. I just moved back home after hiking for 4 months on the Appalachian trail, while walking I had lots of time to think about my passions, and of those are animal welfare, care, and personally staying active and fit! I have two personal dogs, one of which is a senior in hospice care, out of respect for him, I am not taking animals into my home right now. However, any type of drop-ins or house-sitting is on the table. I take direction seriously and can provide medical care, activity, play, feeding, or anything else that is needed for your beloved animal!

About: My family and I started using Rover in 2018 when our 17-year-old dog, Faith, needed to be watched during the day. Rover helped make our last months with her a little easier and less stressful until she passed away in early 2019. I began to work with Rover myself in 2020 while I teleworked for two years because of the pandemic. Since then, my family and I have welcomed dozens of dogs into our home. Over a year ago, we relocated to Ranson, West Virginia from Fairfax, Virginia and two of our clients often still travel to our new home for us to board their dogs. I am still working full-time but my parents, Carla and Rob, have been providing great service during the day. We only look after one dog at a time, and someone is always with them so you can rest assured that your dog will get the love, care, and undivided attention that he or she deserves. We love all kinds of dogs and will look after yours like it was our own! In fact, this past April my family and I adopted Milo from a family who used to board him with us. They could no longer give him the attention he needed so they reached out to us to make him a part of our family. I work Tuesday-Saturday and am away from home from 5:30am-6:00pm. My mom works from home remotely and my dad retired and provide excellent care and attention during the day. I ensure that your dog gets plenty of love and attention. They have frequent potty breaks and neighborhood walks. I have plenty of dog treats and toys to keep them entertained and occupied.

About: For the last 40+ years I've been caring for my (and others) pets. I've had dogs, cats, horses, birds, ferrets, rats, etc... Animals love calm gentle people. That's me! I have lots of experience with giving meds, grooming, feeding, and handling all types/ages of pets. Unless an animal is actually attacking me, I am never harsh with them. You can count on me to be respectful and gentle with your furbabies. I am currently working part-time so I have lots of extra time to care for your pets. I prefer not to drive after dark if possible. Respect and details matter. I will always respect your home and property. It can be scary to let someone take care of your pets. I understand. I'll always double-check to make sure everything is done right, and that the gate is closed behind me! :-)

I am a certified veterinary assistant and have worked professionally as a veterinary technician in a veterinary office in Utah, giving me a strong medical background and the ability to recognize and respond to a wide range of health and behavioral concerns. My experience also includes working in multiple kennels across many states where I cared for both dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. This has given me the skills to handle everything from energetic puppies to senior pets requiring extra patience and care. At home, I’m a proud pet owner myself. I have a 13-year-old Chihuahua that I’ve raised since he was a puppy, as well as an 11-year-old pit bull mix I rescued from a shelter in 2017, and my beloved cat I adopted in 2023. My own pets have given me firsthand experience with aging animals, rescue care, and the importance of providing a safe, loving environment. When you trust me with your pet, you can feel confident knowing they will be treated like family—with compassion, experience, and the highest level of care. I am open most days, as I homeschool my child. Saturday afternoons are usually reserved for personal time but I am available in the morning and night. I can let your dog out in your back yard, take them for a walk, clean litter boxes, do playtime, give food, water, and medications on their schedule.

I also own fish and geckos, so if you have any small animals that need care, such as reptiles, rabbits, etc. I would be open to caring for them as well. I do not provide care in my home as I have dogs of my own who don't love to be around other pets. I would provide care in your home.
