About: For the last 40+ years I've been caring for my (and others) pets. I've had dogs, cats, horses, birds, ferrets, rats, etc... Animals love calm gentle people. That's me! I have lots of experience with giving meds, grooming, feeding, and handling all types/ages of pets. Unless an animal is actually attacking me, I am never harsh with them. You can count on me to be respectful and gentle with your furbabies. I am currently working part-time so I have lots of extra time to care for your pets. I prefer not to drive after dark if possible. About: I have been animal sitting for almost 9 years now, starting when I was in high school. I have experience in animal care for multiple species, energy levels, behaviors, ages, and health needs. No task is too big for me, my biggest job was being a sitter for a family of 10 dogs, and a pig! About: I have had dogs my entire life. Cats since I was 11. I have ridden and worked with horses since I was 5. I do all my animals vetting minus their rabies vaccinations. I have a senior Husky, a three year old German Shepherd and an eleven month old Pitbull/German shepherd mix. I have a ball python as well as two eight year old tuxedo cats. I love them all! walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
