About: I have been a vet tech and animal educator in the past. I’m very flexible with scheduling, and understand last minute things come up. I am happy to work with whatever pet needs you have! For locals I can pop in as often as needed, I’m happy to be flexible with your needs. My availability right now is wide open. I am comfortable with pets that need medical care, pets that are less comfortable with people/strangers/ other animals, and the less common pets. I believe in full transparency, and will provide your pets with the care you would give them yourself.
“Kristen did a great job taking care of our pets for over a week. She was fast to respond to our request and was an excellent communicator. Really appreciated her updates. Would definitely recommend her.”

“Lauren did a great job with our Henry... She is the only one I would trust to be with our puppy and house when I cannot be... I would recommend her to all my friends and family!”

About: For the last 40+ years I've been caring for my (and others) pets. I've had dogs, cats, horses, birds, ferrets, rats, etc... Animals love calm gentle people. That's me! I have lots of experience with giving meds, grooming, feeding, and handling all types/ages of pets. Unless an animal is actually attacking me, I am never harsh with them. You can count on me to be respectful and gentle with your furbabies. I am currently working part-time so I have lots of extra time to care for your pets. I prefer not to drive after dark if possible. Respect and details matter. I will always respect your home and property. It can be scary to let someone take care of your pets. I understand. I'll always double-check to make sure everything is done right, and that the gate is closed behind me! :-)
“Selena is great! She's so friendly and thoughtful with her updates on how walks went and taking photos to show my dog is having fun. Definitely happy to have found her, and very grateful for the help!!”

About: My husband and I have been around dogs our entire life, small to large breed, we love dogs! Our little one absolutely loves having them around, being outside, throwing ball, treats, etc. So, your pet would need to be great with kids :) We live in the beautiful Whittier neighborhood with plenty of walking options. Our backyard is enclosed with a high eight foot fence. So, your pet would be plenty comfortable. Or, if you're away, I could come to your pet for their time outdoors. I have a small SUV, so transportation is always an option! We're comfortable letting your pet roam the house while we're here and away. We would only take on more than one dog after talking to the owner of our current stay, and the dogs are compatible, or they come from the same home! With that said, we do not have any four legged pets of our own.... only tanked ones ;) three amano shrimp, two tetras, and two narite snails! So, your pet will have the luxury of our undivided attention! When your pet would come to stay with us, we do ask for as much info/'their 'stuff' as you can bring/provide regarding your pets normal/routine at their home, commands, tricks, toys, food, bedding... etc so your pet is comfortable and enjoys their time here, and so we can keep them in as much of a similar framework as their home. The Rover site allows for pics and videos. So, we like to take a few during their stay and send them to owners! Our current stay and past stays have really enjoyed this! Prior to you or us making a decision on your pets stay, we would like for you all and your pet to visit our home. This will allow you to see and get a sense of our neighborhood and home - where your pet will be staying, and meet us! I hope this has been helpful for you!
About: I have decades of experience with both cats and dogs! I have a reactive/senior dog that I have had since he was a puppy. He also suffered from severe separation anxiety, that I had to help him with when we first got him. I rescued him from the Humane Society. I have had training with him, to help give him his best life. I have experience with both dogs and cats, from puppy/kitten to senior age and every age in between. I do have basic pet training skills, including leash training, as well. I also can administer oral medication when needed for dogs. I have experience with dogs with special needs, such as, blindness and special dietary needs. I have experience with active/herding dogs as well. My senior dog Willow, was a boarder/lab. She recently crossed over the rainbow bridge. She was over 13. She was a very active girl. I also have 2 grand dogs. A 4 year old male Great Dane/hound and a 1 1/2 year old male Australian shepherd. I take care of them from time to time when my family needs me too. I also have several clients that I regularly take care of their pets while they’re either at work or away on vacation. I offer several types of services for your pets. I can do drop ins/potty breaks, walks/playtime or overnight stays when you’re away or on vacation. I also provide photos/videos, so that you can see how much fun your fur baby is having while you’re away! I do have experience with multiple dogs/cats households. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) and helping to provide caregiving services for your pet! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am available most days with notice ahead of time. On occasion, I can do non-scheduled pet care times as well. When caring for your pet in your home, I will follow your instructions for your pets needs. We can discuss how much time your pet can be left alone, as well as, if they need to be crated while left alone. If I am taking care of your pet while you’re away for overnight stays, I will generally check on your pet every 4 to 5 hours unless noted otherwise.
“I’ve had an amazing experience with Sophia. She is reliable, friendly, and clearly loves what she does. My dog Kane absolutely adores her, and I always come home to a happy, well-exercised pup. Sophia is punctual, communicative, and always go the extra mile—whether it’s sending photo updates or making sure Kane gets a little extra care when needed. I feel totally at ease knowing my dog is in such good hands. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!”

About: Hi! I'm Tess, and I live in Charles Town, WV with my two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Louie, and two cats, Tatiana and Rudy. Louie is friendly, gentle, and loves making new friends on walks so your pup will likely have a buddy along for the adventure! I take a calm, low-key approach to dog care. I let dogs sniff, explore, and just be dogs. Whether it's a neighborhood stroll, a quick potty break, or a trail walk, I'm happy to tailor the outing to what your dog actually needs. You can expect photo updates along the way so you never have to wonder how things are going. I welcome dogs of all sizes, as long as they're friendly with other dogs, cats, and people. I keep my walks to two dogs at a time so every pup gets real attention. I do ask that dogs riding in my car be crate trained. For boarding, I have a large fenced backyard where dogs can run and play safely. I take small dogs on an occasional basis so your pup gets a relaxed home environment rather than a crowded kennel. I also offer occasional house sitting for owners who'd prefer to keep their dog in familiar surroundings. Inquire for availability! Fridays are my day off, so walks are unhurried and get my full attention. For boarding, I'm home all weekend, so any dog staying with me has someone around rather than sitting alone in an empty house. Dogs staying with me have access to a large fenced backyard and are never left alone outside. Inside, I keep a calm, low-stimulation environment. My Cavalier Louie lives here full time, so any boarding dog will be introduced to him gradually and supervised until I'm confident they're comfortable together. I do a meet and greet with Louie before confirming any boarding stay. For house sitting, I follow the owner's routine as closely as possible so the dog's environment feels as normal as it can while they're away. Photo updates are sent throughout any service.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 12, and most recently cats. Family, friends, and clients, from past experience, have entrusted me to come in their home too feed/walk their pet. I have walked/ taken care of dogs and cats with health issues. I also own a cat with diabetes so I am experienced in giving insulin shots. When it comes to walking dogs, I’ve walked dogs ranging from Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, Cavelier King Charles Spaniel to Pitbull Basenji mix, American staffordshire terriers/bulldogs to large golden doodles. If dog/cat is in training I respect all rules given by the owner. I do have some experience walking multiple dogs at the same time. From past work experience I was trained in how to read a dogs body language and how to be a safe dog walker. In all, communication is key. During visits and walks I love to take pictures just so you as the owner can relax knowing your buddy is safe and well taken care of. Thank you I currently work full time, but given enough notice I can be flexible and will come to help. My days off are back to back, so those days are good for overnight care or multiple walks. When I sit for a client I go by a list they give me. I always keep communication with the owner in the event that their fur baby does anything out of the ordinary inside the home. I also clean up spills fur baby may have caused in the house and I clean water bowls giving them fresh water when coming back from a walk. I only feed fur baby when owner says to or once again I’ll text owner asking if fur baby needs to be fed if I see them begging for food. I clean doggy paws after a rainy day and make sure to keep an eye on weather conditions before/during the walk with your pet. Also during walks, I make sure that fur babies don’t eat anything they aren’t supposed to.

I am both friendly, accommodating, and I love animals! Thank you!! I complete college courses online so I have a very flexible schedule. I can provide both night and day time care. My open availability makes it easy for me to prioritize your pet’s care! I am open to any care your pet may need. About: I’ve taken care of my own cats and dogs since I was 10, but have helped friends and family with their own furry friends! I have experience administering medicine, giving love to animals, and teaching basic training like sit and lay down. I’m a senior in college, so my schedule can vary week to week, but I always make time to give your furry friends the care and attention they deserve! I’m very respectful of others’ spaces—keeping things clean, organized, and exactly as I found them. I always follow instructions closely and make sure your furry friend is safe, happy, and well cared for! If I am house sitting, I can clean, do laundry, do the dishes, etc.
“Such an amazing dog walker! My dog absolutely LOVES her. She’s always on time, caring, and attentive with our pup. We feel so lucky to have found her. I couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: I have been a dog walker for 6 plus years and have my own 4 year old bully mix! I regularly care for another dog as well! I give love as if they are my own and spoil them rotten! I give medications, care for wounds, post surgery care and have done chemo treatment trips and after care! I currently have part time hours at work. I am available mornings, evenings and weekends! I have plenty of extra time and love for all your pets! A nice home with a good sized fenced in yard for lots of play time and sunbathing! I have a very playful and loving pup myself who loves everyone and everything! During the work week our pup is only alone about 4 hrs a day and we do have a camera so we can check in on her. When there is another pup in our home we do keep them separate while no one is home for safety and comfort for all. When home they can all run and play as much as they want! Lots of toys and outdoor time! Supervised meal times as well!
