“Jessica was great! She gave us a peace of mind that our fur baby would be well taken care of while we were gone! She communicated well and I love that we got some pictures of him all settled after his potty break! Definitely recommending her to anyone that asks!”

About: I’ve taken care of family friends pets since the age of 12. Neighbors as well as family friends have relied on me to feed and walk their pets even with a last minute request. I have experience with administering oral or injectable medications to dogs and cats. I’m currently working 1 part time job and am in college. My work schedule switch’s days so I am available in the morning as well as evening to do whatever is needed for a client. I am a very honest and trustworthy individual whose main goal is to keep clients pets safe as well as keep the owners calm and comfortable with me taking care of their pets.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and currently have a 5 year old poochon of my own. Caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. Whether it’s overnight care, house sitting, drop-ins, or walks, I’ll make sure your dog receives plenty of attention, affection, and care while you’re away. I am currently in an online grad school program, so my schedule is fairly flexible. Because I complete most of my coursework from home, I have the ability to provide consistent care, attention, and companionship throughout the day. As a dog owner myself, pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I believe pets are happiest when their routine stays consistent, so I do my best to follow each owner’s care instructions closely. Whether that means walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medications, or simply spending quality time together, I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs. My goal is to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own home while providing owners with peace of mind.

About: I've taken care of multiple types of animals over the years! Dogs, cats, birds, bugs, reptiles, rodents, amphibians and fish! Much of my experience comes from working at PetSmart and owning most of these animals myself! I have 2 Rottweiler/Husky mixes, 2 cats, a cornsnake, 5 birds (Sun Conure, Green Cheek Conure, Cockatiel, and 2 Budgies!), 3 axolotls, one tank of Koi and Goldfish, and another tank of tropical fish! I currently work part-time at PetSmart as a pet caretaker! I have Thursdays off, but my work schedule doesn't normally get in the way. I always wait for an animal to greet me first to avoid stressing the pet out. I normally have calming chews and treats on me to try to encourage the animal that I am not a threat.
“Lauren helped us out with a last minute request. She kept our 2 dogs happy and healthy while we were out of town. Highly recommend and will definitely be using her services in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, from kittens/puppies to senior animals. I’m passionate about working with and helping animals. Their needs and care are important to me. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets needs! My availability is relatively open and I’m looking forward to taking care of your friend! I’m comforting crating dogs, comforting anxious animals and taking care of their needs as far as potty breaks, snacks, and so forth. I’m comfortable working with the system you have in place for your pet.
“Cynthia did such a great job with our new pup who is still learning. She was very patient with her and kind. I loved getting updates and photos of their visit everyday! Will definitely use Cynthia again in the future!”

About: I’m very caring and attentive to all animals and I am here to look after and play with them when you are unavailable. I have plenty of experience watching dogs, cats, and even reptiles on several different occasions for a few years now and I will never get tired of meeting new ones! I have a passionate love for animals and believe they deserve the best care possible. I’ve been looking for a job and came to the conclusion this is the best for me. Getting paid to care and tend to animals and even just hanging and chilling with them doesn’t even seem like a job to me but more like a fun time. As of right now, I have all the time in the world to look after pets and be their friend. Contact me whenever you need me! :) I live in a safe and friendly neighborhood. I do not have a fence but and perfectly fine taking dogs out on the leash for the bathroom or just for a walk. If you have any special requests or advice when you need me to look after them I am all ears and waiting for the details.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and I volunteer at the shelter walking dogs. I’m comfortable with all sizes and types of dogs. I work every day 2pm - 10pm so I’m available any day to walk in the mornings or anytime before 1. I can come as often as needed before that time. I am looking to walk dogs not pet sit. But I have 7 cats at home, I foster/rescue cats so my home in unavailable.

About: I have been animal sitting for almost 9 years now, starting when I was in high school. I have experience in animal care for multiple species, energy levels, behaviors, ages, and health needs. No task is too big for me, my biggest job was being a sitter for a family of 10 dogs, and a pig! I worked at a nonprofit animal rescue where I learned more about how to care for cats and dogs, and how to gauge their personalities, and energy levels. I am passionate about animal happiness and satisfaction. Right now, I am completely free. I have a car and a valid drivers license. I just moved back home after hiking for 4 months on the Appalachian trail, while walking I had lots of time to think about my passions, and of those are animal welfare, care, and personally staying active and fit! I have two personal dogs, one of which is a senior in hospice care, out of respect for him, I am not taking animals into my home right now. However, any type of drop-ins or house-sitting is on the table. I take direction seriously and can provide medical care, activity, play, feeding, or anything else that is needed for your beloved animal!
“Nila was great. Took care of the dogs and gave them extra love and attention. My dogs will miss her care and miss her. She was also great at communication and helping change a little when my plane got delayed.”

“Michelle is absolutely wonderful! I cannot recommend her enough. She is reliable, thorough, and caring with pets! You can tell she has a true love for the animals she cares for. She took amazing care of my elderly dachshund, going above and beyond to make sure I knew he was doing well each day, and he loved her! She can be trusted to care for your furry friends ☺️”

“Ana did an absolutely *amazing* job caring for Simba (and my flowers!!) while my boyfriend and I were out of town. We cannot say enough great things about her and will always go to Ana in the future if she’ll have us!! ? She was an absolute joy to work with and the daily pictures of Simba made our hearts so happy. THANK YOU, ANA!”

Carolina has been such a huge help for my new puppy! I don't have to worry about my baby while I am at work. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
