Just like that we can confidently say we love learning about our clients and their pets personality so we can make the best transition when caring for them that day and so everyone feels seen and included, even the little ones! About: (Formerly Kamp Kelley) I have been fostering small dogs for a rescue group in No. VA. for the last 9 years (my aching back doesn’t allow me to work with dogs larger than 20 lbs)--prior to that I fostered cats and kittens. I has experience with many types of small dogs—especially Shih Tzu’s and Llasa Apso’s, but also Yorkshire Terriers, Basset Hounds, Pom's, Toy Poodles, etc. My expertise is in rescuing and caring for senior and special need dogs. Since I have a dog-friendly house and a large-fenced yard (1/4 acre) for them to run and play in, I decided to become a dog-sitter 5 years ago. I believe in loving and treating your fur-baby like my own! We keep her home and yard dog proof so your little angel will be in a safe, relaxed, dog-friendly, and loving environment! Because I am retired, my schedule is very flexible. I'm retired and except for occasional trips to the store, bi-weekly Bridge games. monthly book group and a occasional meeting, I'm home ALL THE TIME. At this point, I am accepting only ONE dog at a time EXCEPT if there are 2 dogs from the same household. Same for cats. I have a large, fenced yard that can be separated off. I have lots of dog equipment. For example large crates if your dog is used to being crated, bowls, beds and cushions, a big bed for them to share with me, jackets, leashes, kongs and lots of love and affection. Same for cats--EXCEPT, I let them out only on the back deck (enclosed).

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 5. I’ve always believed that they should be shown so much love and compassion. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats of varying ages. I have looked after animals of all sizes and ages so I am well prepared. I have experience with feeding, walking, bathing, bathing, nail trimming, and medication giving. About: I have grown up with a variety of dogs in my home. I would give them love, clean up after them, feed them and of course play with them. I had dogs of all sizes and personality types, (mostly mutts). I work full time but have my summer off. I would be available any time any day! I can get up early or satay late!! I've helped raise dogs from 6 weeks to 16 years old. The young and the old need a little more attention and I'm happy to help. I learned this lesson the hard way when I was raising dogs and had to learn different techniques to train each of them individually. Labs learn and function much different than bulldogs and pitbulls. I treat each dog the same regardless of size or attitude. Though I may give them some attitude when mouth off, like I do with my pitty at home (lol). I'm a safety first kind of person when it comes to our kids. So I tend to lean on the side of caution and extra equipment when interacting with most dogs. I always keep extra dogs supplies in my truck at all times as I have been known to that guy who stops traffic to try to rescue a dog. I've done this probably 6 or 7 times.
About: My whole life I’ve had and cared for dogs. They have brought me such joy. My compassion for them is deep and is very genuine. I stay at home with my three young kids. They have tons of energy and we love going on long hikes on the wooded path near our house. We have a fully fenced in .25 acre yard for your fur babies to run, play and enjoy some sunshine and fresh air. Inside, we have plenty of space for play and relaxation.
