About: Do you need somebody to take care of your fur baby? We are a married couple who absolutely adores animals! We have 20+ years of experience taking care of animals from walking dogs to changing litter boxes. Between the two of us, we have adopted two cats, one geriatric dog, and two rabbits. We've administered medicine as well. We promise to love your pets as our own! We have all sorts of availability. We work from home which allows us to flex our hours and take long breaks if needed. We can take care of your fur baby anytime! We treat animals with love and respect. We have no problem following your typical feeding scheduling, administering medicine, changing litter boxes, playing, and taking your baby on a walk. We are also very easy to communicate with and have a phone available 24/7.

“Having never been left alone since the passing of her brother (they used to board together in a kennel) we were concerned about what to do with our senior dog, Abby, during a 10-day trip to Europe. We turned to Rover.com since we felt staying in her familiar home would be better and Abby would receive more attention and activity. We reached out to Lauren who got back to us in minutes and arranged an in-home "meet and greet" visit. She and her partner came by to visit and we were immediately impressed with her kind way with Abby, her approach to staying here with Abby, and her experience taking care of dogs. We were very pleased with her care of Abby, the updates she would send us along with photos of Abby were very helpful, and it was nice to know they were all getting along well -- and at the same time, our home was being cared for along with Abby! They had car rides and visits and walks and Abby did very well with her new friends right in her own home. When we returned home, our place was clean and tidy, sheets were washed and folded, Abby was happy and doing well. Our neighbors told us how nice they were and that Abby was happy during her walks. We were very glad to have found Lauren and Ali and would not hesitate to have them stay with our little one in the future! Excellent care and support for our doggie and for us.”

About: I've been a passionate animal lover since I was born. I started out with my own neighborhood business, in which I offered dog walking, pet sitting, and house sitting services to a consistent client list of 11 homes over the course of 6 years. Then I branched out a little more professionally and spent 2 years at a boarding school in Missouri in which I studied puppy socialization and training, adult canine socialization, obedience, and behavior modification. I also received additional training for Therapy/Assistance Dogs, Vet Technician, and canine anatomy, philosophy, and psychology, specializing in no resistance training. After 2 years, I received my certificate as a CALO-Certified Dog Handler and American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Certified. I am well versed in dogs and cats of all temperaments, and provide the best care I can for each dog and cat that are placed into my care. I am currently working part time, so my pet care availability depends on my weekly schedule. If contacted far enough ahead, I can rearrange my schedule to better accommodate needs. I am fully available on Sundays for any services. I am a very active person, so walks are always my go to. I would love to play ball or frisbee in the backyard, or even take your dog to the dog park! Unfortunately, I am unable to bring dogs back to my home, but will use any resources given to me by you or the public!

“We appreciated that she spent time with our dogs and kept them company while we were away. It was clear they were being given attention, which meant a lot to us. However, there were a couple of concerns that are important to mention. We have cameras in our home, which she was made aware of in advance. While most were turned off, we left the front door and one camera in the dogs’ area on. At one point, one of our dogs had an accident in that room. The footage showed that it was seen multiple times but not addressed. I only became aware of the situation after receiving several notifications and had to reach out to ask that it be cleaned. This made me feel that it may have been left unattended otherwise. Additionally, we had left our house key in a lockbox on the door. While the key was placed back inside, the combination was not reset. Since we were out of town, this felt like a safety concern, as it left our home more accessible than we were comfortable with. That said, I’m still giving her 4 stars. I know she’s just starting out, and these are all things that can easily be improved with a bit more experience. Overall, we’re grateful for the care she showed our dogs and appreciate her help.”

About: Life is Good with pets! I have been providing professional pet care services for dogs for over 5 years. I have always had different dogs in my life from childhood to adulthood. I’ve seen how happy my own pet is from taking him on regular walks and I am excited to provide this same experience for other pets. I have a large, fenced yard in a semi-rural neighborhood, and I enjoy taking dogs on nice long walks. Pets are allowed on furniture to snuggle and I am also happy to crate train pets, if preferred. I am currently working from home, so I have most of my time to give attention and love to your pet. I am happy to provide these services at all times. About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. We currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. We are able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. We treat every animal as if it were our own and provide a level of care that we would expect from our pet care provider.
