About: As the proud owners to two wonderful little rescue dogs, a cat, some chickens, guinea fowl, goats and sheep, we know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your pets and farm animals while you are away. We will provide the same level of care and kindness that I would want and expect for our own spoiled pets. Trust is an important part of pet care and petsitting, and we want you to be able to confidently, and without worry, leave your pampered pups and kitties in our care. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. We currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. We are able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. I have a senior Husky, a three year old German Shepherd and an eleven month old Pitbull/German shepherd mix. I have a ball python as well as two eight year old tuxedo cats. I love them all! My babies have my full house to roam and are only put up when I leave as they are mischievous and get themselves into trouble. We go out every few hours to potty and roam the yard to smell all the smells, because you never know who has been in the yard in the last two hours! We must patrol! Lots of walks and toys! In your home, it is whatever you and your pet need! Walks, playtime, medication, pop-ins.

About: I have had animals my entire life! 3 dogs and 5 fish. I walk my 2 very friendly loving dogs through the mountains or my neighborhood every night and I love for yours to join us! I’m also experienced in house sitting as I have done this for many of family friends. As well as senior care, due to my full time job at Home Helpers Home Care. I work full time Monday- Friday 9am-5pm. My weekends, early mornings, and evening are completely free! Early morning or right after work is when I walk my two dogs either in the morning or when I get home from work. In my own home I find patience is the key to working with dogs. The newest addition to my family is a rescue from a hoarding case and it has taken some time to help him heal from the trauma he has faced. With love, patience, and guidance he has had an amazing recovery and adapted so well to being with us! In the three years he has been with us all of his injuries, cuts, and bruises have healed.
