He was pretty calm the rest of the evening which was great. I expected a little anxiety when I returned but Sammy seemed peaceful on the drive back home. She was patient with all of my questions (before, during, and after the meeting and greet!) and immediately put my mind at ease. You can tell she has a lot of experience with dogs and has a very calm but assertive demeanor with them that made me confident she could handle our amped up puppy. About: I have been cat sitting for friends and family for a number of years now. I learned about the needs of cats through running the cat program of an animal rescue for about 6 months. In that time I was able to understand cat behavior, learn to administer medicine and vaccinations, provide for community cats, and engage in TNVR efforts.
“This was our second time using Rover for vacation and I was super anxious about leaving my anti social cat Cheyenne. She’s hard to get to know (as some cats can be). Disha was reassuring and ontop of things from the first meet and greet! She was thorough and really made it known she would care for Cheyenne like she was hers. Throughout our vacation, I had spotty - to no signal with limited access to wifi, Disha still communicated with me and went onto suggest other ways to keep in touch! She even did an extra visit when my cat puked quite a lot one of the days to ensure she was okay! We loved having Disha watch Cheyenne and recommend her highly! We will continue to book with her in the future if she has availability! She even made friends with Cheyenne quite a few times (which some of our close friends have failed in) and really took the take time to care for her. We so appreciate you Disha and thank you!”
About: My family and I started using Rover in 2018 when our 17-year-old dog, Faith, needed to be watched during the day. Rover helped make our last months with her a little easier and less stressful until she passed away in early 2019. I began to work with Rover myself in 2020 while I teleworked for two years because of the pandemic. Since then, my family and I have welcomed dozens of dogs into our home. Over a year ago, we relocated to Ranson, West Virginia from Fairfax, Virginia and two of our clients often still travel to our new home for us to board their dogs. I am still working full-time but my parents, Carla and Rob, have been providing great service during the day. We only look after one dog at a time, and someone is always with them so you can rest assured that your dog will get the love, care, and undivided attention that he or she deserves. We love all kinds of dogs and will look after yours like it was our own! In fact, this past April my family and I adopted Milo from a family who used to board him with us. They could no longer give him the attention he needed so they reached out to us to make him a part of our family. I work Tuesday-Saturday and am away from home from 5:30am-6:00pm. My mom works from home remotely and my dad retired and provide excellent care and attention during the day. I ensure that your dog gets plenty of love and attention. They have frequent potty breaks and neighborhood walks. I have plenty of dog treats and toys to keep them entertained and occupied.

“I usually don't leave reviews but I have to this time. Renee is amazing! We found ourselves needing a sitter for our 7 month old Golden Doodle for a week. I had never used the Rover app OR a dog boarding service before. I found Renee using the Star Sitters filter and I am so grateful to her. She was patient with all of my questions (before, during, and after the meeting and greet!) and immediately put my mind at ease. You can tell she has a lot of experience with dogs and has a very calm but assertive demeanor with them that made me confident she could handle our amped up puppy. While we were away she sent us pictures and updates regularly without me asking so I was never worried about how he was. He even made friends at her house to play with! After bringing him home I could tell she kept him on his routine and he is doing great. I can't recommend her enough!”

“Five stars for Laura! Due to a family emergency, we had to find a last minute sitter for our lab. Laura was extremely responsive and accommodating throughout the entire experience. During our pup’s stay, we received various photos and videos of him feeling at home and having fun. She clearly loves animals and makes sure your pet is loved.
