About: Dogs have been in my life since I was 12 years old. I have had 4 dogs throughout that time. I have experience with both senior dogs and high-energy younger dogs. I am more used to smaller dogs, but one of my current 2 dogs is a 54lb pitt-bull, the other one is a 15lb pug mix. I also used to take care of a 70lb standard poodle for a family I was a nanny for. At night, your dog will stay comfortably inside our home. They are welcome to sleep on the floor or in their preferred sleeping area. If your dog feels more comfortable in a crate, I can move their crate upstairs and place it next to my bed so they can feel secure and relaxed throughout the night. About: I have been a dog lover for decades, growing up with chocolate labs. For the past 17 years I’ve had my sweet bichon/yorkie mix brother and sister (Harry and Bella), and now an 5 yo Chocolate Lab named Blu. Our dogs get along with dogs of ALL sizes. I have a fenced in backyard and and 10 year old loves to run around with the dogs and help me on walks. If you prefer walks be added to the backyard play, we have a great walk to the neighborhood park or local trails. I’m very attentive and patient, and curling up with the dogs on the couch or bed is all too common. I believe dogs are part of the family. I welcome your dogs to join the family in a caring, energetic and safe home. I’m currently working from home and have multiple breaks taking my dog on walks. About: I have experience with very shy and reserved dogs to dogs with more personality than sense! I've worked with many different breeds, from doxins and Jack Russels to boxers, Staffies, and St Bernards, and dogs of all ages. I have experience with senior dogs, and dogs with many health issues, including seizures, surgery recovery, and dogs that need LOTS of medication. Whether they are clingy couch potatoes or would rather have their space, I have had them in my house! I currently work full time, but with a hybrid schedule, and would be able to be fully available for your pets when working from home and weekends. I have a fenced in yard with grass and lots of things to explore and observe. No other dogs in the house currently. Plenty of windows if your dog likes to supervise their surroundings, and plenty of dog toys and room to play inside. If your dog prefers smaller areas, the house is easily sectioned off for safe spaces to decompress, and there is room for a crate if that is what they want/need. Lots of walking trails through the neighborhood and woods for adventures.

During the warmer months, dogs may also enjoy supervised pool time if they are comfortable with water. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. Because we have a large, fully fenced backyard with both grassy areas and woods, I introduce every dog to the outdoor space slowly and carefully. At first, outdoor time will be supervised with a leash so your dog can become comfortable with the new environment. As your dog becomes more familiar and confident, I may gradually increase freedom with a longer leash while continuing to closely observe their behavior. Once I feel your dog is completely comfortable and safe, they can enjoy supervised exploring and walking through the wooded area of our backyard. At night, your dog will stay comfortably inside our home. They are welcome to sleep on the floor or in their preferred sleeping area. If your dog feels more comfortable in a crate, I can move their crate upstairs and place it next to my bed so they can feel secure and relaxed throughout the night. We had not one but three plane cancellations due to the large winter storm resulting us being unable to pick up our dog for an entire week longer than expected. Most significantly, our dog suffers from seizures and takes medicine to prevent them - when he ran out of seizure medication, Ameneh and Niki traveled to our house and retrieved more medication.
