“Jenny is amazing! Every interaction with her is thoughtful and with so much attention to detail. Thank you so much for taking great care of our dog, from giving her all the cuddles to sending us excellent communication updates and photos.”

About: I have been an active pet caretaker for over 25 years. I have worked with dogs young and old (currently have 2 senior dogs) and sizes from small to large (12-80 lbs). I enjoy getting to meet and befriend dogs of all kinds. I make my own schedule, so visiting your dog(s) is a flexible option. Looking forward to helping pet parents know their pup is safe and happy. My main thought is to dog safety. A safe dog is a happy one. We'll enjoy walks and visits that meet your dog's energy levels and specific needs. Expect photos from our time and updates on happenings.
“Christopher was great! He was so easy to work with and our dogs really loved being with him. We have three dogs and he didn’t bat an eye. He was never late and always sent video or pictures of them playing. We hired him for two weeks straight and he was very consistent. Super happy to have him for our dog care.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I can remember. From house sitting, to walking them, to even taking care of my own dog. I’ve worked with different breeds and ages, and I love them all! I stay at home mostly throughout the week, and I’ve been wanting to get out a couple of times, and this would be the perfect opportunity to take care of your dogs in walking, or dropping by to play! I live in an apartment complex, so I would have to go to where you are to walk/play with your dog, or I could take them to a dog park!
“Christine is doing drop in visits for our two dogs during the day and she has been wonderful. She’s on schedule, provides nice updates and has gone the extra step to make sure when one of our dogs had an issue that concerned her. She’s wonderful”

I work full-time in hospitality, also known as the experience business. I’m a morning person and would love to be able to treat you and your pup from 5am-8:30am, Wednesdays-Fridays ! I’m all about making sure your morning experience is great, as it sets the tone for your day ! I’d love to learn about your pet, as all pets are unique and different from one another. I believe learning their likes, dislikes and habits will help keep them stress-free and provide you comfort in knowing they’re being understood. Plus, as a (striving) Type-A person, I’d love nothing more than to make sure you and your pup stay on schedule, or better yet open up more free time for you by providing my services !
About: I’ve been taking care of neighborhood and family pets since I was a teenager. I’m very flexible and love to work with you to ensure you get the best care for your animals. I work as a substitute teacher and have a very flexible schedule. With enough notice, I can schedule half days or days off in the week to ensure your pet get’s more of my time. I can also work walks into my schedule before and after the school day and am fully available on weekends. I have roommates, so boarding animals might not be an option. I can always ask, though. I am comfortable staying in the pet’s home if it makes them more comfortable.
“Jenna is very kind and patient with my pack. Her communication is excellent, she is always on time and my fur babies enjoy seeing her!! It gives me me peace of mind to put them in her care.”
“Catherine was excellent! This was the first time my wife and I have had someone outside our family watch our cats (in 12 years) so it was a big deal for us to leave them with someone we felt comfortable with…Catherine was that person. The girls were well cared for, well fed, a d their litter boxes and water bowl were kept clean. We also received daily updates of the cats and how everything was going. We will definitely be using Catherine for all future needs.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rockville
Jenny was great! She seems very conscientious, reliable, and concerned about our pets. She arrived at the pre-arranged time and confirmed by text. As requested by us, she called when there were questions about feeding, medication, etc. We will definitely request her support in the future.

Ana took great care of our 13 year old Sheltie and our cat. It was a pleasure to meet with her and from the moment they met Ana, our pets took a liking to her and felt comfortable. She kept us up to date with daily messages and was very responsive and trustworthy. We highly recommend Ana and will certainly like to use her petcare services again in the near future.
Danny was a God-send! He was super responsive, accommodating, conscientious, and responsible. He was also wonderful with our dog, Mojito, who looks out the door every afternoon as if waiting for Danny. 😃 I can't recommend Danny enough and will definitely be using him again.

John was great! Our pup loved him instantly and it was obvious from the photos we received that he enjoyed their walks. Our Bodhi can be an anxious guy and so we appreciated the reassuring updates. Definitely recommend John and hope he’s available the next time we need a sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
