Whenever I pet sit, I usually care for them at my client’s home where I meet with them beforehand so they can get to know me and I can get to know their pet to see if they are comfortable around me. After that, they send me a user guide of what their pet needs to be given throughout the day (their feeding schedule, bathroom schedule etc), fun activities to keep their pet entertained, emergency contact information and their itinerary schedule. I read through the user guide before pet sitting so that I can ask the necessary questions and be aware of my responsibilities by the time I start.

Pet care experience
I got my first dog when I was seven and he felt like a younger sibling for me! Taking him out to play at nearby fields, teaching him special commands and giving him special toys that were mentally stimulating for him were fun memories that I hold dearly and never correlated to chores. Of course I also learned about important responsibilities Such as making sure the type of food ate was healthy for him and providing the necessary medical attention that veterinarians would have me follow whenever he was sick or when he became older and was experiencing soreness in different areas of his body. Now, I pet sit for my siblings dogs whenever they are away am open to working with all kinds of dogs or cats.
Reviews

Mark was patient and great with Toby!

Mark was a phenomenal choice of sitters! Between a very senior cat, and an anxious, reactive pup, it is difficult to feel comfortable going out of town. Mark was great, very attentative to our pets needs, and very patient, allowing Teddy to warm up and feel comfortable around him. We appreciated his updates throughout the weekend, and his kindness to our furry family. Highly recommend, especially if your pets are uncertain of strangers.

Mark is so kind, thoughtful, and generous in the care he shows our pet. He’s highly dependable and communicative - don’t think twice to work with him.

Would absolutely rebook Mark again! He was prompt, communicative, and an amazing walking partner for my dog who needed daily hour long walks while we were away for a long weekend. He is attuned to making your dog comfortable: I mentioned that my dog is nervous around men and Mark set-up a quick meet and greet to get acquainted. We really felt he went the extra mile for us 💚
