Safety, trust & environment

I believe that trust building with any new (recurring) pet I care for is key. Because walks are short, that extra time to connect with the pet is missing. By offering overnight sitter or extended day-time/night-time support in the let’s home, there is more space to bond with your pets in the comforts of their home and to build that connection and trusting relationship they need to feel comfortable with a stranger.

Information Jenny C. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know of any unique needs that your dog or cat has (e.g,. special medication or food requirements, needs a certain number of hours of play time each time, gets anxious or triggered by certain smells/sounds/experiences) as well as their personality (e.g., shy, anxious, co-dependent, outgoing, independent, social) as part of the booking request, so we can discuss!

A typical day

This all depends on your pet and their unique personality, communication style, and needs. I have found that it is the one-on-one personal attention is what pets long for. They want to know that someone is listening, can speak their language, and wants to play (it can be something as simple as follow my sock or fetch in a field) when they want to play and that there is someone around to snuggle with or nearby if they want their me time.

Your Trusted Pet & House Sitter!

Pet care experience

Whether it is your 1st or 10th dog, a foster or new puppy, I have you covered! Having cared for my own and the puppies and senior dogs of others, I understand their special needs. Puppies and young dogs are curious about the world, playful, and active. They have energy to burn off and lots of new things they want to learn. I am engaging and energetic with providing them the play time and rest that they need while also knowing when to correct unwanted behavior. Senior dogs are living in their golden years of life and slowing down, but still fully enjoying the dirt and trees. Their needs are different. A calming and understanding presence helps them to relax when it is time for their medications, diaper changes, or walks. I have insurance through Pet Care Insurance for the protection of your home and pets.

Jenny was amazing watching our house and dog for a week. She was great at communicating and providing updates and photos and videos. Our dog wasn’t eating a lot the first couple days due to anxiety and missing, Jenny went above and beyond trying some different tactics to eventually find the right approach to get her to eat while checking in with us throughout the process. We were able to enjoy our vacation and came back to a very tidy home and very happy pup!

Jenny was great! She seems very conscientious, reliable, and concerned about our pets. She arrived at the pre-arranged time and confirmed by text. As requested by us, she called when there were questions about feeding, medication, etc. We will definitely request her support in the future.

Jenny was great with our senior dog, Myles. She figured out a way to get past his pickiness to ensure he had his daily medication, make sure he stayed on top of his sleeping and neighborhood window watch routines and took great care of our home. She stayed late when our baggage was delayed. Highly recommended!

Jenny was great with our elderly Bichon who has separation anxiety. She was very attentive to his mood and needs, and she communicated to us her questions and concerns throughout. It was clear she really cared about his wellbeing. She also took great care of our home. We highly recommend Jenny!
