I am a lifelong pet lover and owner, here to help with your furry family! I use Rover for my own dog when I travel and know how important it is to find someone you can trust when you are away from home. I have decades of pet ownership and care experience with dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and more. I also have experience as a Guide Dogs for the Blind puppy-raiser (2 years), worked in veterinary hospitals (3 years), and am capable of assisting with oral medication and other needs. Currently I have a 40lb pitbull mix who keeps me on my toes, but I have some extra time to help with your pet care! Sombra does not play well with other dogs, so she will stay at home while I care for your pet.

I will care for your pets in your home. I will respect your home and house rules and strive to follow any requests you have related to the care of your pets. My dog can be territorial and does not appreciate canine guests in my home.

We always use Allison when we can. Both our cat and dog come running to greet her, which is not surprising. She understands that Toby, being a smaller older dog, doesn’t want to be walked, so much as he wants someone to cuddle with. Definitely a good fit for our boys!
Once again, Allison did a great job taking care of our boys (and our house). Both the cat and the dog were excited to see her again. We will gladly continue to ask Allison to dog/cat/house sit when we go away.
Allison did drop-in visits to feed/check in on my young and energetic cat while I was away for a week. He was well taken care of. Allison gave me daily picture and updates, and I particularly appreciated these updates including notes about checking for a potential health issue that flares up on occasion. I would certainly recommend her and would use her again in the future!
Allison spent the night at our house to watch our dog and cat. We appreciated the meet and greet beforehand. The dog was well taken care of and looked like he got the snuggling he needs in addition to being given his medicines which included an eye cream. Both of our boys were well taken care of and Allison also took good care of the house. We would definitely use her again in the future!
Allison has cared for animals her entire life and is incredible knowledgeable when it comes to pets. She is incredibly responsible and I know that she cares for any animal she encounters as if it was a member of her own family. You will not be able to find a better pet sitter.
Allison is an excellent caregiver and treats all animals with respect and kindness. She has an excellent background in professional animal care, as well as raising a guide dog puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind. She has always been fabulous with my pets and I wouldn't hesitate to leave them in her care.
