“Sara is amazing! Super attentive and caring with the cats, going beyond and above on the ask of looking out for them 😉 She is a gem and I highly recommend her, definitely will have her again in another time. Thak you Sara!”

“Mia was so great! Our cats loved her and were always so excited to see her while we were away. We were celebrating the life of my mother so it gave us comfort to know our pets were in great care since all of us were gone at the same time. Mia was excellent with communication and updates and the photos she captured and sent were adorable! We’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for genuine pet care”

“We have a fear reactive pup and Kira has gone above and beyond our expectations to work with her. She has taken the time to get to know Sadie and give her a chance to show her true colors. We were hesitant of Rover with a reactive dog, but couldn’t have found a better fit for our pups! We cannot recommend be her enough!”

About: I currently work at a dog daycare where I help care for dogs of different sizes and personalities throughout the day. My responsibilities include feeding, supervising playtime, cleaning, and making sure each dog is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I also have experience volunteering with dog adoptions and assisting at an animal hospital, where I was able to learn more about handling and caring for animals in a medical and shelter environment. I’ve been around animals my whole life, especially my own dog, which has helped me understand how to be patient, gentle, and attentive to their needs. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine because I already work with dogs regularly at a daycare. I’m used to early mornings, consistent routines, and staying flexible with different schedules. I also have time in the afternoons, evenings, and some weekends to dedicate fully to pet care, walks, and check-ins. I always prioritize safety, trust, and comfort when caring for pets. I closely follow each pet’s routine and any instructions provided by the owner. In my home or the client’s home, I make sure the environment is clean, calm, and secure. I supervise pets at all times, give them lots of attention, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m patient and gentle, and I treat every pet like they’re my own.

About: I've had pets since I was a kid. I had my cat when I was 5, but she died late last year, and I want to fill that void. I'm available on weekdays at any time during the day. Same with Saturday and Sunday. I'm available for appointments 6am-10pm no problem. My home is free of smoke I don't smoke or anything like that and also, I have no kids so it's very pet friendly
About: Hi!! I’m Michele and I live in a townhouse community in North Potomac/Gaithersburg, adjacent to the Kentlands. I have owned rescue dogs for 30 years, and I have always chosen dogs that are “hard to adopt” due to having a traumatic history, having accompanying anxiety or other behavioral challenges, and/or being a wrongly stigmatized breed. All of my dogs have been mixed breeds — a Doberman mix, a Shepherd mix, a Rottweiler mix, a Pitbull mix, a Mini Pin mix, and a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I have also been helping my daughter over the past two years with her growing petsitting business. I have spent much of my career as a consulting writer and communications specialist in the global health and international development field, and have mostly worked from home. Due to recent changes in the federal government, most U.S.-based professionals in this field lost employment in 2025, and I am taking the opportunity to branch into more entrepreneurial paths that speak to my other personal passions. I always make sure my dogs (and yours!) have plenty of exercise, water, and hugs! And of course food and any medications according to your exact instructions. When I walk dogs, I am conscious of allowing them to have ample time to sniff and explore, as this gives them the mental exercise they need and tires them out for good naps during the day. I also love to give dogs play time in fenced yard/areas with any balls/toys they enjoy. I am available for walks at any time of the day, as well as housesitting in your home (or my home if you prefer!) when you are away! I am also happy to care for cats and any other pets. Thanks so much for considering me, and I hope to meet you and your best friend(s) soon! I’m currently rebuilding my career from scratch and have plenty of time for pet care! The work paths that I am building will all be mostly work-from-home. I will provide long and short walks, additional exercise in fenced areas, water, food, and medications! I am forever a dog-on-the-furniture/bed person but will happily respect your wishes if you prefer not to allow that. I will also provide crate training if desired! I currently do not have dogs living with me full time, but my daughter has two dogs and can bring them to my house anytime if you would like some social time built in.
About: I gotta be honest, I don't have an extensive list of pet sitting experience on my resume. But, I have pet-sat two dogs (a german shepherd and a minipoo) and have cared for three dogs throughout my life, one (collie) whose back legs gave out a year before she passed, and another two since they were puppies (black lab, jindo). My dog has hypothyroidism so I give him levothyroxine everyday and am familiar with diets to not trigger pancreatits. I have a fairly open schedule with an exception to Friday nights and Sunday mornings. Any time else I am fairly flexible and open to working! I can feed, walk, pick up, and play with your dogs anytime necessary. I can't house them but I am willing to drive reasonable distances!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life so taking care of pets has always been second nature to me. I’m used to all the basics like walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure they are getting plenty of attention and maybe a few extra treats if allowed. For the past five years, I’ve been regularly pet sitting for friends, family, and others and I’ve met all kinds of personalities from high-energy dogs who never want to stop playing to the ones who just want to hang out and relax. I like to stick to your pet’s usual routine so they feel comfortable while you are away, and I will make sure they are well cared for and getting lots of attention the whole time! I am home from College for much of the Summer, so I will have a very flexible schedule to be able to care for your pets! Any day, any time I could be there to help you out! I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and kept on their normal routine as much as possible. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medication administration, and household rules. I always double-check doors, gates, and leashes for safety before and during care. I keep the environment calm and give pets plenty of attention so they feel relaxed while their owner is away.
About: I have had experience with my own dog, as he was apart of the family for 12 years. I love being around dogs, and I will make sure they are well taken care of! I am currently home from college during the summer and working part time. I will be available for long-term and short term sitting on the weekends, and possibly sitting during the week as that is when I am working part time. I do not offer care in my own home, but I will be willing to work out something if need be of if it’s the best option!
About: I’m a reliable and caring animal lover with many years of experience caring for dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. My own rescue dog, who passed away last year, taught me a lot about patience and understanding dog behavior. She was very shy and initially afraid of walks, so I spent a lot of time learning positive training techniques and working with her until she became comfortable on leash. I also taught her basic commands and fun tricks like sit, stay, come, rollover, spin, and retrieve. Because of this experience, I’m especially patient with shy or nervous dogs and always take time to build trust and make pets feel safe. I have a flexible schedule and am available for dog walking and drop-in visits on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, mornings or evenings. I look forward to caring for your furry family members! I am very flexible. I work with your schedule. I am usually available weekdays or weekends, and holidays. Either mornings or afternoons work for me. I currently offer drop-in visits and dog walking services. I do live in a single family house with fenced backyard. I do not have my own animal.

I always keep a close eye on my pets, see if anything changes their mood and if so see what it may be. I love playing with my pets and giving lots of cuddles and attention

“Candace has looked after my cats three times now and has been great every time. She always sends pics and an update. My cats are pretty shy, but Candace has been able to build a relationship with them and spends time with them whenever they're feeling up for it.”

About: I'm a huge dog lover, and grew up around many dogs. I have a pet beagle, Archie, who is the center of many funny stories. I'm studying biology at college, and I plan to research animal behavior in the future. This love for animals stemmed from my love for dogs! If you're looking for a sitter who is responsible, flexible, and will provide good care and exercise for your dog, please reach out! :) I'm a college student home for the holidays, so my schedule is extremely open and extremely flexible! I'm available both on weekdays and on weekends! I have an entire forest in my backyard, which is perfect for your dog to run around and explore. I also live nearby many hiking trails and public parks. Inside, your dog is free to sleep on the couch and play!
