About: I’ve had dogs as pets my whole life! I grew up volunteering at animal shelters so I have plenty of hands on experience. I’ve been freelance pet sitting for about 5 years now. I have cat sit for 5 different families in the past. I never had a cat so I feel this helped me gain some cat experience. I’ve dog sat for senior dogs requiring special medication and have had senior dogs myself. I’m a huge animal lover and am so excited to meet your pups/ kitties! I’m perfect to call for mid day dog walking or a drop in visit when you’re at work! I’m currently unemployed and am looking forward to pet sitting/ dog walking full time! I am a very structured person so I will follow any and all directions that you leave for me. I will do as much as I can to make your pet feel at ease while you are on your family vacation, work trip, etc. I’ve been an animal lover all my life so I promise to give your pets the same love & affection that I do give to my own fur babies! I know everyone says that, but I truly enjoy being around animals!

“Catherine was wonderful! I hired her for drop-in visits for my 4 cats, including a diabetic cat who she gave insulin. She was very kind, sweet with the kitties, and even took the bags of litter out to the trash even though I told her she didn’t need to do that (it’s a bit of a walk to the dumpster.) I’m very happy I hired her for my trip :)”

“Rene is absolutely fantastic. She was always prompt, diligent and so caring for our cat. This was our first time leaving Milo. Rene immediately put us at ease. She communicated constantly. She came prior to the scheduled visits to meet Milo, who loved Rene instantly. During the visits, Rene sent us pictures of Milo. She did “all the things” (litterbox, food, water etc), probably more carefully than we do at home haha. Rene even brushed Milo, which was above and beyond. We are so happy Rene took care of our pet. We can’t say enough good things about Rene.”

“Michele was an excellent caretaker for our two cats while we were away on a long trip. She communicated quickly and clearly about everything and there were no issues at all! We definitely felt like our pets were in good hands.”

About: I am a young working professional in Gaithersburg. I have had a dog since 11 years old but fell in love with dogs more recently. After my own pup passed, I began dog sitting for many dogs in my neighborhood. I too like to go on long walks and find dogs to be the perfect companion. If I am trusted with your pup, rest assured that I will spoil them with lots of love, snuggles, walks, and pup cups. I love to take local walking trails in Gaithersburg. I have taken care of small dogs (french bulldog, bichon), and big dogs (poodle, lab) and in between. I also have experience in caring for dogs of all ages, 1 year to 14 years. I have basic training knowledge but am trying to learn more. I currently work in the evening times and am at home during the day during the week until 3pm. I can handle anything from 6am-3pm and 10pm-12am. Anything outside of that schedule can be accommodated upon request. I have some other days off and more flexibility if needed. I live in a walkable neighborhood with lots of greenery to talk your pups out. For boarding, I live in a home with 2 other adults and a 10 year old but no other pets. We prefer to meet any dogs either for a public or home visit before agreeing to boarding. We do not have a fenced in yard nor is it very big, for potty breaks we usually take the dog out on the leash out front.
About: What sets me apart is my real-life, daily experience caring for two dogs with different personalities and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and confident handling everything from playful energy to anxious behavior. I’m also familiar with basic training, have experience with feeding routines, giving medications, and caring for senior dogs. I treat every pet like family and always prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine since I already care for my own two dogs every day. Between walks, playtime, and feeding, I’ve built my schedule around making sure they’re happy and well cared for. Even with my part time job, I make sure to stay organized and flexible so I can give each pet the time, attention, and love they need. In my home, I make sure pets have a safe, clean, and comfortable space to relax, play, and feel at ease. I stick to their usual routines as close as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, or playtime. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all instructions carefully, making sure their pet feels secure and cared for while they’re away. I definitely focus on building trust with both the pet and the owner.
About: I have taken care of dogs for a few years now and decided I want to help those in need of a dog sitter and some training. I’m a nurse and work 3 days a week and looking to dog sit or walk on my days off. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can switch my days around if needed. I have an American Bully named Milo who is 10 months old. He loves meeting new dogs and is very friendly. I have a small fenced yard but I will take my puppy on walks at least 2-3 times a day. Because Milo is still a puppy having another dog will also help his energy levels.
“Dymond was amazing! She accepted our request at the last minute and really helped us out with our dog. She was super communicative and sent lots of pictures and videos. In the past when we’ve left our dog with a sitter she’d act nervous and scared when we returned home. This time with Dymond though, our dog was happy and calm when we came back. We can tell she got a lot of exercise and had fun! We will definitely use her again and highly recommend her to others for your pet sitting needs!”

“Jina is awesome! We were referred to Jina when our regular cat sitter was unavailable and would definitely work with her again. She spent a lot of time playing with and petting our cats, making sure medications were given, cleaned the litter boxes regularly and asked questions as they came up. She also brought in an extremely heavy package that was delivered early which was totally not expected but always appreciated. Thank you so much Jina! It’s so nice relaxing on vacation knowing our cats are well taken care of”

“Don inspired immediate trust with his excellent level of communication and gentle approach with our cats. We have two ancient Bengals, one who requires meds, and because of his previous experience, I could relax and know she would get her meds. He sent us pics each day and we came home to happy cats and a clean house. We will definitely be using Don again when we go away!”
“Riley gave me lots of peace of mind that Bun was being taken care of, looked after, and getting the attention she loves. She left a little summary on the rover card of what she did and how Bun was, and included a few photos for each drop in so I could see that Bun was doing well. I would definitely recommend booking Riley!”

“Susan has been absolutely fantastic as a dog walker! She is reliable, punctual, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. My dog immediately felt comfortable with her, which gave me great peace of mind. She always provides updates after walks and goes the extra mile to make sure my dog is happy and well cared for.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to large, high-energy dogs. I have cared for German Shepherds as well as smaller dogs, and I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and routine. I am also a lifelong dog owner, currently caring for a Dachshund and a Labrador Retriever. Having dogs with different energy levels has given me experience with everything from daily walks and playtime to patience, training reinforcement, and creating a safe, comfortable environment. I also have experience with senior dog care and understand the extra patience and attention older dogs may need, including maintaining routines, providing a comfortable space, and being attentive to changes in behavior or mobility. I treat every pet like they are my own and will make sure your furry family member receives the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I am currently a college student, which allows me to have a flexible schedule for pet care. During the summer, I work at a camp, but I am available for scheduled walks, drop-in visits, and pet care around my work hours. I am responsible, organized, and will always communicate clearly to make sure your pet’s routine is maintained. I am happy to work with each owner’s schedule to provide reliable care, attention, and plenty of love for their pets. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routines. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I will follow your instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any specific needs your pet may have. I will provide plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while making sure your pet feels comfortable and safe in their own environment. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, safe, and loving space where pets can receive individualized attention, playtime, and care. I have two dogs of my own, a Dachshund and a Labrador Retriever, who are both friendly and have never had issues with other dogs. I understand the importance of proper introductions and making sure every pet feels comfortable and secure. I understand that every pet has different personalities and needs, and I will make sure they feel welcomed and cared for as if they were my own.
About: As an only child, I always wanted a cat. When I was 4, we adopted my cat sister and the rest has been history. Throughout my life, cats have always been present. Now, as I have my own family, we have expanded to have a brother sister duo that are my babies. I would love to come care for your fur babies as well Between my two boys and my two fur babies, we have a busy day full of love and play. Rocky and Rosie are always up with me for an early breakfast before I’m out the door. They always great me and their big brothers as we come home and love to play at night as we make dinner. They are the ultimate snuggle bugs at bedtime. I will work with you to establish a connection with companion to gain their trust. I love to know their routine, their likes and their dislikes. We will work together to make your home a safe environment while you’re away, in addition to safe surroundings (should you have a dog that needs a walk).
About: Hi, I’m Eileen. I provide gentle, attentive care for small dogs, with a focus on safety, routine, and a calm home environment. My availability is primarily weekends, holidays, and selected weekday evenings, which allows me to give each dog steady, unhurried attention. I tailor care to each pup’s personality, whether that means relaxed walks, light play, quiet companionship, or simply keeping their routine familiar and reassuring. I follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, keep bowls and rest areas clean, and send thoughtful updates with photos so you can feel fully at ease. Because I have resident cats, I’m best suited for cat-savvy small dogs. I approach introductions slowly, supervise carefully, and can keep spaces separate when needed. My style is warm, detail-oriented, and intentionally limited in volume, so each dog receives the same thoughtful care I would want for my own pets. 🕰️ Schedule I work a full-time 9–5 role during weekdays, and I thoughtfully plan my pet care visits around that schedule to ensure each visit is calm, unhurried, and consistent. On weekdays, I offer evening drop-in visits, which tend to be a natural and comforting time for most cats, which is quiet, predictable, and aligned with their evening routines. On weekends and holidays, I’m available between 10am–5pm, with more flexibility to match your cat’s preferred schedule. At home, I care for my own five cats every day, so multi-cat routines, different personalities, and maintaining a clean, peaceful environment are already part of my daily life. When I visit your home, I bring that same level of attentiveness—never rushed, always respectful of your cat’s pace and space. I also keep my bookings intentionally limited so each cat receives steady, thoughtful care. Whether your cat needs quiet companionship, playtime, or medication, I make sure every visit feels consistent and reassuring for both you and your cat. My primary service is caring for cats in their own home, where many feel safest and most relaxed. I follow your instructions closely, from feeding and medication to doors, windows, lights, and entry routines. I know how much trust it takes to leave your cat and home in someone else’s care, so I treat both with great respect and attention. Each visit is tailored to your cat’s personality and your preferences. Some cats want play and affection, while others prefer quiet company and space. I pay close attention to food, water, litter box habits, and any small changes in behavior. After every visit, I send thoughtful updates with photos, videos, and a clear report, so you can feel informed and at ease while you’re away. If I ever care for a cat in my home, I would focus on slow introductions, separated food, close monitoring, and a calm, clean environment. My five resident cats are all up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and I always respect each cat’s pace and comfort level.

About: I was a professional pet care provider for almost 2 years, servicing dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish. I have had pets most of my life, I grew up in a home with 3-5 doberman at any given time so I'm comfortable and familiar with big dogs. I have been helping my partner care for their tropical and freshwater fish as well as their reptiles for many years now. I am also a proud cat owner of 7 years. So I have a large amount of experience with many types of animals! I am currently a full-time student, school is very important to me right now but animals are a close second. Outside of classes (which of course, has schedule changes every semester) I am very free to care for your animals. I am comfortable with early morning and late nights. I cannot house your pets at my home, but while I am with your fuzzy family members at your homes/in your neighborhoods I will ensure they receive the utmost care, respect, and love! I will follow all the rules and guidelines you have with your animals as well as take extra precautions to guarantee excellent care is given to your babies.
About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 15, giving me 21 years of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and small animals, including rodents. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, comfort level, and boundaries. What sets me apart is how mindful I am of an animal’s energy and body language. I don’t force interaction or expect every pet to warm up immediately. I’m patient, loving, attentive, and happy to let your pet set the pace while I earn their trust. Whether your pet is outgoing and affectionate, independent, shy, or just particular about how they like things done, I’ll care for them with the same patience, respect, and attention I would want for my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I already structure my days around caring for my own dog. I’m used to daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure pets get the attention and consistency they need. I’m available for walks and drop-ins outside of my weekday work hours, as well as evenings, weekends, and overnight house sitting. I’m reliable about routines and happy to follow your pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible. I care for each pet based on their individual routine, personality, and comfort level. In a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their normal feeding, walking, play, medication, and bedtime routines as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. I’m very attentive to body language and energy, so I never force interaction. Whether a pet wants lots of affection and playtime or prefers a little more space, I let them set the pace. During walks and drop-ins, I focus on safety, exercise, fresh water, bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention. I also understand that caring for someone’s pet means respecting their home. I’m clean, responsible, communicative, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for.

“Allison did drop-in visits to feed/check in on my young and energetic cat while I was away for a week. He was well taken care of. Allison gave me daily picture and updates, and I particularly appreciated these updates including notes about checking for a potential health issue that flares up on occasion. I would certainly recommend her and would use her again in the future!”
