I've had dogs, cats and other pets at all different energy levels throughout my entire life. I've always had a beagle, pitbull, poodle and others in my care. I love all breeds equally and will treat your pet like they are my own! I can easily follow any special instructions you have for your pet. Your best buddy will be allowed to hang out all over the house, on the couch and furniture if they like and have someone with them at all times. If your dog loves walks, parks, creeks and fenced yards, this is the place for them! I don’t have any pets of my own at this time, and I’d love to care for yours in the meantime. I understand and appreciate how much your best friend means to you. I'm always available for a visit and it's best to reserve a spot early if possible. Please feel free to reach out anytime. I am at home full-time retired so I'm available and at the mercy of your pet’s schedule! I do my best to accommodate most schedules. If you just need to drop off your pet for a few hours while you take care of errands etc.. that's no problem. I treat every single pet like they are my own. Pets are allowed on all furniture (unless you say no!), they have a fully fenced yard to play in, a park right across the street to walk in, a creek to play in, and more right across the street! If your dog is uncomfortable around other dogs or people, i am able to walk them in non populated areas. One of my former dogs was also not a huge fan of people or other pets so I know how to work with these situations.

About: Hi!! I’m Michele and I live in a townhouse community in North Potomac/Gaithersburg, adjacent to the Kentlands. I have owned rescue dogs for 30 years, and I have always chosen dogs that are “hard to adopt” due to having a traumatic history, having accompanying anxiety or other behavioral challenges, and/or being a wrongly stigmatized breed. All of my dogs have been mixed breeds — a Doberman mix, a Shepherd mix, a Rottweiler mix, a Pitbull mix, a Mini Pin mix, and a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I have also been helping my daughter over the past two years with her growing petsitting business. I have spent much of my career as a consulting writer and communications specialist in the global health and international development field, and have mostly worked from home. Due to recent changes in the federal government, most U.S.-based professionals in this field lost employment in 2025, and I am taking the opportunity to branch into more entrepreneurial paths that speak to my other personal passions. I always make sure my dogs (and yours!) have plenty of exercise, water, and hugs! And of course food and any medications according to your exact instructions. When I walk dogs, I am conscious of allowing them to have ample time to sniff and explore, as this gives them the mental exercise they need and tires them out for good naps during the day. About: I am currently only accepting hypoallergenic dogs for boarding and doggy daycare! These include but are not limited to: Bichon, Poodles (or any doodle), Yorkies, Maltese, and Schnauzer. About: I have a medium size calm dog Judo who loves the company of other dogs. I have been caring for my own dogs since 2014, and started Rover in 2018. I also foster dogs for local rescues and especially have experience with shy dogs that need help trusting people. Because of allergies, dogs are not allowed on furniture or in the bedroom. We only take one dog at a time to insure your lovely pup gets the attention they deserve. We only accept dogs that are fully house trained. Accidents happen, but please do not send your dog over if they already have urinary or digestive problems. Please understand that we only accept fully vaccinated dogs to protect the health of our resident dog. Before booking with us for the first time, we recommend a meet n greet to ensure a good fit. I work from home and my schedule is pretty flexible. Potty breaks in the yard available throughout the day. Two walks a day with my dog and park visits on weekends. All interactions between dogs will be monitored. When I’m not around I will keep them separate in the first three days until I am confident that they get along. Food will be provided separately and toys will not be left around.

About: I am currently only accepting hypoallergenic dogs for boarding and doggy daycare! These include but are not limited to: Bichon, Poodles (or any doodle), Yorkies, Maltese, and Schnauzer. I own two dogs, one is a young Miniature Goldendoodle that I have had since she was a couple of months old, and the other is a senior Toy Poodle that I have had since she was 5 years old. I have 10 years of experience caring for animals and always research how to best care for the animal in question. I have 2 years of experience with professional pet sitting. I am currently a student living at home, so I have plenty of time to care for pets, especially since I care for my own. I am available most of the week, every week. My yard is unfenced; however, we do have a chicken-wire fence in the backyard for my own dog, who has plenty of space to run around and play. We have lots of toys for your fur baby, and a kind and playful dog to keep your fur baby company. I can crate small dogs, but do not have large enough crates for large or medium dogs. If caring for your pet at your home, I can ensure your fur baby gets lots of playtime and walks.
About: I have taken care of dogs for a few years now and decided I want to help those in need of a dog sitter and some training. I’m a nurse and work 3 days a week and looking to dog sit or walk on my days off. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can switch my days around if needed. About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life. I realize how much they depend on us to care for them and nurture for them which is why i would like to extend my love for potato other families. I have another job unrelated to pets. I would like to work with pets to further my care. On my off days i would like to pet sit or dog walk. I am very gentle when it comes to caring for animals. About: I have had pets in my family even before i was born, and ever since then my passion for animals has been nothing but strong. I currently have a dog, two indoor cats, and two outdoor cats. I love spending time with animals, learning their personalities, and forming a bond with them. I am very enthusiastic and can definitely keep your pet occupied, there are lots of pet toys around my home for them to enjoy, and some playmates too! I currently work part time so my availability is pretty open. I am available most days, especially weekdays. I am also more than willing to provide pet care services on Holidays. I have an acre of fenced in backyard, but have no problem leashing your dog if they could hop the fence. My dog is very friendly with other dogs his size, so he will be happy to play! Please be aware, we are not a 100% smoke-free household, however, we do keep smoking restricted to a single ventilated room that our pets (and yours) do not have access to.
About: I have a medium size calm dog Judo who loves the company of other dogs. I have been caring for my own dogs since 2014, and started Rover in 2018. I also foster dogs for local rescues and especially have experience with shy dogs that need help trusting people. Because of allergies, dogs are not allowed on furniture or in the bedroom. We only take one dog at a time to insure your lovely pup gets the attention they deserve. We only accept dogs that are fully house trained. Accidents happen, but please do not send your dog over if they already have urinary or digestive problems. Please understand that we only accept fully vaccinated dogs to protect the health of our resident dog. Before booking with us for the first time, we recommend a meet n greet to ensure a good fit. I work from home and my schedule is pretty flexible. Potty breaks in the yard available throughout the day. Two walks a day with my dog and park visits on weekends. All interactions between dogs will be monitored. When I’m not around I will keep them separate in the first three days until I am confident that they get along. Food will be provided separately and toys will not be left around.

Your best buddy will be allowed to hang out all over the house, on the couch and furniture if they like and have someone with them at all times. If you just need to drop off your pet for a few hours while you take care of errands etc.. that's no problem. I treat every single pet like they are my own. Pets are allowed on all furniture (unless you say no!), they have a fully fenced yard to play in, a park right across the street to walk in, a creek to play in, and more right across the street! If your dog is uncomfortable around other dogs or people, i am able to walk them in non populated areas. One of my former dogs was also not a huge fan of people or other pets so I know how to work with these situations.

Lucky usually has some anxiety during dropoff and with men, but Christopher immediately sensed it and decided to take him for a walk before I left. I appreciated that a lot.
