About: Hi!! I’m Michele and I live in a townhouse community in North Potomac/Gaithersburg, adjacent to the Kentlands. I have owned rescue dogs for 30 years, and I have always chosen dogs that are “hard to adopt” due to having a traumatic history, having accompanying anxiety or other behavioral challenges, and/or being a wrongly stigmatized breed. All of my dogs have been mixed breeds — a Doberman mix, a Shepherd mix, a Rottweiler mix, a Pitbull mix, a Mini Pin mix, and a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I have also been helping my daughter over the past two years with her growing petsitting business. I have spent much of my career as a consulting writer and communications specialist in the global health and international development field, and have mostly worked from home. Due to recent changes in the federal government, most U.S.-based professionals in this field lost employment in 2025, and I am taking the opportunity to branch into more entrepreneurial paths that speak to my other personal passions. I always make sure my dogs (and yours!) have plenty of exercise, water, and hugs! And of course food and any medications according to your exact instructions. When I walk dogs, I am conscious of allowing them to have ample time to sniff and explore, as this gives them the mental exercise they need and tires them out for good naps during the day. I also love to give dogs play time in fenced yard/areas with any balls/toys they enjoy. I am available for walks at any time of the day, as well as housesitting in your home (or my home if you prefer!) when you are away! I am also happy to care for cats and any other pets. Thanks so much for considering me, and I hope to meet you and your best friend(s) soon! I’m currently rebuilding my career from scratch and have plenty of time for pet care! The work paths that I am building will all be mostly work-from-home. I will provide long and short walks, additional exercise in fenced areas, water, food, and medications! I am forever a dog-on-the-furniture/bed person but will happily respect your wishes if you prefer not to allow that. I will also provide crate training if desired! I currently do not have dogs living with me full time, but my daughter has two dogs and can bring them to my house anytime if you would like some social time built in.

Whether you’re going on vacation, buisness trip or just need a hand, I'll provide the best available care for your best friends. Every pet is welcome here. Pets are Never left alone and unattended. Most of all, I genuinely love and appreciate animals. My top priorities are the exact same as yours, the safety, comfort and happiness of your pets. Just let me know if there are activities they especially enjoy; walks, playing catch, afternoon naps etc...and I'll take care of the rest. Pets are endlessly entertained by the action at the park directly across the street. They sit at the front window anxiously looking for their friends. Fresh water is always available for them. No need for your pet to be crate or cage trained here. I prefer not to use them unless instructed by you. One of the absolute great features here are the ramps we have leading inside and outside for pets that are older or have mobility issues. I've had dogs, cats and other pets at all different energy and age levels throughout my life including beagles, pitbulls, poodles and cats. I enjoy caring for all animals. I'll treat your pet just like they are my own, following any special instructions you have for medicine or otherwise. Your best buddy will be allowed to hang out all over the house, including on the couch and furniture if you allow and will have someone with them at all times. If your dog loves walks, parks, creeks and fenced yards, this is the place for them! I don’t have any pets of my own at this time, and I’d love to care for yours in the meantime. I understand and appreciate how much a great pet means to someone. If you would like genuine loving care for your pet, you have found the right place. I always do my best to be flexible and accommodate most schedules. If you would like to drop off your pet for a few hours while you take care of errands, socializing or just need a break..etc.. that's no problem. I treat all pets like they are my own with great care. They are allowed on all furniture (unless you say no), they have a fully fenced yard to explore and play in, a park right across the street where we walk, another park with a creek area to explore, and more right across the street! If your dog is uncomfortable around other dogs or people, i am able to walk them in non populated areas. One of my former dogs was also not a huge fan of people or other pets so I know how to work with these situations. I always keep things safe, if pets don't seem to get along well, I keep them separated as necessary.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since 2000 and cats since I was 8. From kitten, puppies to senior dogs and cats, I love them all. I will care for your dog like they were my own. I currently work from home everyday. I can walk dogs before work, pet sit all day, or watch them in the evening or overnight. I am available for long stays as well. I have no pets at this time so your pet can be comfortable and roam around freely. I can feed, play with and give lots of attention.

About: I have had pets in my family even before i was born, and ever since then my passion for animals has been nothing but strong. I currently have a dog, two indoor cats, and two outdoor cats. I love spending time with animals, learning their personalities, and forming a bond with them. I am very enthusiastic and can definitely keep your pet occupied, there are lots of pet toys around my home for them to enjoy, and some playmates too! I currently work part time so my availability is pretty open. I am available most days, especially weekdays. I am also more than willing to provide pet care services on Holidays. I have an acre of fenced in backyard, but have no problem leashing your dog if they could hop the fence. My dog is very friendly with other dogs his size, so he will be happy to play! Please be aware, we are not a 100% smoke-free household, however, we do keep smoking restricted to a single ventilated room that our pets (and yours) do not have access to.

I follow owners’ instructions closely, maintain a clean and structured environment, and provide regular updates so you always know how your dog is doing. My wife (a full-time homemaker) and I ensure that your furry family member is never left alone while staying with us. One of us is always home, providing constant supervision, comfort, and companionship throughout their visit. Your dog will enjoy a fully fenced, secure play area and 2–3 walks per day. We live on 2 acres of land with plenty of open space for safe exploration and exercise, along with an 11,000 sq. ft. home that provides ample room for your pet to relax and feel comfortable.

About: I have over 7 years of experience as an animal caretaker and am currently a foster parent with MCASAC. I work with a a variety of dogs from all walks of life, but typically focus on tending to large and senior dogs that require special medical needs, behavioral training, and/or socialization in a stress-free home environment. As a remote worker, I have the flexibility to tailor my schedule to your pet's routine and unique needs, ensuring personalized care and attention throughout their stay. I strive to create a comfortable and safe environment for pets under my care, whether I'm caring for them in my own home or providing a drop-in visit at your home. For services whereby your pet is staying with me, I offer in-home doggy daycare for up to 8-hour stays and boarding services for extended to overnight care. All pups will have freedom to run around the house with plenty of exericse and playtime breaks throughout the day. To create a peaceful and stress-free mealtime for all pups, I feed them separately or in a designated space. In terms of supervision, there is always someone home as I live with four other family members who work remotely as well and are comfortable with providing supplemental care and attention as needed. Throughout the day, I like to share regular updates and photos to the owners, so they can see how their pets are doing while they're away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I'll work with you to confirm care instructions, your pet's routine and any additional needs your pet requires during my visit.

About: I am currently only accepting hypoallergenic dogs for boarding and doggy daycare! These include but are not limited to: Bichon, Poodles (or any doodle), Yorkies, Maltese, and Schnauzer. I own two dogs, one is a young Miniature Goldendoodle that I have had since she was a couple of months old, and the other is a senior Toy Poodle that I have had since she was 5 years old. I have 10 years of experience caring for animals and always research how to best care for the animal in question. I have 2 years of experience with professional pet sitting. I am currently a student living at home, so I have plenty of time to care for pets, especially since I care for my own. I am available most of the week, every week. My yard is unfenced; however, we do have a chicken-wire fence in the backyard for my own dog, who has plenty of space to run around and play. We have lots of toys for your fur baby, and a kind and playful dog to keep your fur baby company. I can crate small dogs, but do not have large enough crates for large or medium dogs. If caring for your pet at your home, I can ensure your fur baby gets lots of playtime and walks.

About: I have a medium size calm dog Judo who loves the company of other dogs. I have been caring for my own dogs since 2014, and started Rover in 2018. I also foster dogs for local rescues and especially have experience with shy dogs that need help trusting people. Because of allergies, dogs are not allowed on furniture or in the bedroom. We only take one dog at a time to insure your lovely pup gets the attention they deserve. We only accept dogs that are fully house trained. Accidents happen, but please do not send your dog over if they already have urinary or digestive problems. Please understand that we only accept fully vaccinated dogs to protect the health of our resident dog. Before booking with us for the first time, we recommend a meet n greet to ensure a good fit. I work from home and my schedule is pretty flexible. Potty breaks in the yard available throughout the day. Two walks a day with my dog and park visits on weekends. All interactions between dogs will be monitored. When I’m not around I will keep them separate in the first three days until I am confident that they get along. Food will be provided separately and toys will not be left around.
