“My fur baby has been going to Sophia every week for daycare since August 2023 and sometimes for boarding when we have to travel. Best decision we’ve made for our little Rue. He loves Sophia and her family and enjoys playing with his fur friends. We have even noticed little small behavioral changes in Rue for the better. He comes home happy and tired. So glad we found Sophia as a second home for Rue.”

“Phil and Amanda are amazing. Our two pugs can be skittish around other dogs and Phil and Amanda paired them with the perfect duo to help them get more comfortable. They took them on numerous walks and even let them snuggle in bed on an early morning drop off. I can’t recommend them more and I’ll use them again when we come to town.”

“She was great with my dog in every aspect!! My little guy thoroughly enjoyed with her and her very friendly ,sweet, dogs .Real friendly ,passionate and understanding household.Would totally recommend and repeat !!✌?”

“Thank you Monika for caring for our four-legged members of our family! He looked as if he had a great time and I loved all the pics you sent! You made being away from him easy and non-worriesome.”

About: I’m a dependable and caring pet sitter who treats every animal like family. With experience caring for both dogs and cats (and a soft spot for all furry friends!), I make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you’re away. From playtime and walks to feeding and snuggles, I focus on keeping tails wagging and giving you peace of mind. Your pets’ happiness and comfort are always my priority. Being a stay-at-home mom means my schedule is already centered around caregiving and routines, so adding pet care fits in naturally. I’m home throughout the day, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent attention—whether that’s feeding, playtime, or companionship. Just like I do with my kids, I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for on a daily and weekly basis. In my own home, I make sure pets feel comfortable and part of the family—plenty of playtime, cozy spaces to relax, and a safe environment with lots of love and attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their routines and follow instructions closely so pets feel secure in their familiar space. About: I have experience with dogs of all ages, from lively puppies to senior dogs that require extra care. I’m knowledgeable in basic puppy training, including housebreaking and teaching commands. For older dogs, I offer patient, attentive care, ensuring their needs are met, including administering oral medication if necessary. I keep dogs engaged with plenty of playtime and walks, always making sure they feel secure and cared for. I also limit the number of dogs I look after at a time, so your pet will receive lots of personalized attention. As a dog owner myself, caring for pets is a key part of my daily and weekly routine. I structure my day around their needs, making sure they get regular walks, playtime, meals, and any specific care they require. From early morning potty breaks to midday playtime and evening cuddles, I remain flexible and attentive to ensure each pet is happy and well-cared for throughout the day. In my home, I make sure pets are comfortable, safe, and cared for just like they would be at their own home. I follow their normal routine with meals, walks, playtime, and rest, giving them plenty of love and attention. Our dog, a doodle, is very friendly, playful and loves company
“I worked with Huan for doggy day care while I was away for the day. She was very kind from the start and very responsive to messages and communication. I really appreciate how welcoming she was to both myself and my dog. She ensured that I was comfortable with leaving my dog with her, and made sure to understand any needs for my pup and any concerns I might have had. Was a great experience and I will definitely be reaching out again the next time I need a sitter!”

“Maizy has been coming to Christina's twice weekly since she was 5 months, which was 2 years ago. When I drop her off I know she will be safe, happy, full of play, loved, and pooped at the end of the day! Christina, her family, her farm menagerie (from a safe distance), and the doggie posse provide Maizy fantastic physical and mental exercise, which all leads to a tired, sated dog that normally has energy to burn! Thank you, Christina!!”
“Karen is absolutely amazing!!! Our Beagle loved running around in the fenced-in backyard and playing with the other dogs. Looking forward to having Karen watch our puppy moving forward!”

“I am so bless to have Raghavi P. on Rover. She took excellent care of my toy poodle, Nema. Nema has never been to daycare, and Raghavi P. made me and Nema feel at ease from the very start. She communicated well and even sent me pictures each day. I will definitely use Raghavi P. again and highly recommend her services.”

“Sabina is an A++ Dog Professional!! She has taken excellent care of our complicated dog, listened carefully to our instructions, given him lots of love and walks, and been communicative through out. We will absolutely be coming back for more.”

About: I have a medium size calm dog Judo who loves the company of other dogs. I have been caring for my own dogs since 2014, and started Rover in 2018. I also foster dogs for local rescues and especially have experience with shy dogs that need help trusting people. Because of allergies, dogs are not allowed on furniture or in the bedroom. We only take one dog at a time to insure your lovely pup gets the attention they deserve. We only accept dogs that are fully house trained. Accidents happen, but please do not send your dog over if they already have urinary or digestive problems. Please understand that we only accept fully vaccinated dogs to protect the health of our resident dog. Before booking with us for the first time, we recommend a meet n greet to ensure a good fit. I work from home and my schedule is pretty flexible. Potty breaks in the yard available throughout the day. Two walks a day with my dog and park visits on weekends. All interactions between dogs will be monitored. When I’m not around I will keep them separate in the first three days until I am confident that they get along. Food will be provided separately and toys will not be left around.

Dawsonville dog parents share their Rover experiences
We are very happy with Rhea. She did a great job caring for Cocomelon and provided pictures and a video. This helped put me at ease since this was the first time I have left my little Cocomelon with someone I did not know previously. She provided a card so I could see what she did during her time with my pet. Thank you.
