About: I have over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Over the past 7 years, I’ve also volunteered with rescue organizations, fostering puppies as young as 1–2 weeks old. This has involved full-time care- feeding, socialization, basic training, and monitoring their health - until they are ready for their forever homes. Because I’ve cared for so many dogs at different stages of life, I’m very attentive to routines, diet needs, medical instructions, and behavior changes. I’m calm, patient, and confident handling shy, energetic, or anxious dogs, and I make sure each pet feels secure and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Safety and communication are extremely important to me. I follow owners’ instructions closely, maintain a clean and structured environment, and provide regular updates so you always know how your dog is doing. My wife (a full-time homemaker) and I ensure that your furry family member is never left alone while staying with us. We live on 2 acres of land with plenty of open space for safe exploration and exercise, along with an 11,000 sq. ft. home that provides ample room for your pet to relax and feel comfortable.

About: There's no place like home but if you can't be there, your pets should be here. I take the responsibility very seriously of providing outstanding care and ensuring the safety of your pets during their stay. **I understand how to reduce the separation anxiety that many animals experience when away from their owners. Whether you’re going on vacation, buisness trip or just need a hand, I'm available and dedicated to making sure you won't need to worry about them at all. Pets aren't left alone in the yard or otherwise and doors are always secured. My top priorities are the exact same as yours: the safety, comfort and happiness of your friends during their stay, When they're here, they're family. I have extra dog beds, bowls and plenty of toys around for them. When we're out walking, I pay special attention to the surroundings to watch out for other dogs that are off of their leashes roaming, bike riders etc... You can let me know if there are activities they especially enjoy...walks, playing catch, afternoon naps etc...and I'll take care of the rest. If your pet has some reactivity issues during walking or other activities, I'll keep an eye out for it so there are no problems. Many pets who visit are endlessly entertained by all of the action at the park directly across the street. They'll spend time sitting at the front window watching everything that passes by, There's no need for your pup to be crate or cage trained but it's fine if they are. One of the absolute great features here are the various ramps we have leading inside and outside for pets that are older or have mobility issues. I've had many dogs, cats and others at all different energy and age levels throughout my life including beagles, pitbulls, poodles, cats and many others. I'll care for yours the same as if they were my own, giving them the attention they deserve so they don't experience any anxiety. They'll be allowed to hang out pretty much all over the house, including sitting on the couch if you allow it. If your pup loves walks, parks, creeks, playing catch and fenced yards, this is the right place for them. I currently don’t have any pets of my own and I'd be happy to care for yours. That's why I always make my best effort to provide a great atmosphere and experience when they visit. I'm usually around and available most of the time and do my best to be flexible with schedules. You don't have to worry about being early or late with drop-offs and pick- ups, we can always ar keep everything as convenient as possible. My main goals are to always keep your pets safe, happy and comfortable at all times. Now you can finally take the trip you've been waiting to take. There's nothing better than spending time away without the anxiety of worrying about your pet’s safety and happiness. That's my focus. I try to keep them occupied with various activities during the day and evening. They have a fenced yard to explore and play in, a park right across the street where we take long walks, extended trails with a creek area to explore, and more. If your dog occasionally acts uncomfortable or anxious around other dogs or people, I'll make sure to walk them in isolated-unpopulated areas. I've had a few dogs just like this so I understand how to work with these situations. I always keep things safe as my first priority. If pets don't seem to get along that well, they can remain separated as necessary. There's plenty of room here and I make sure everything is dog proof, including making sure there's nothing they can get into on the counters or floors.( I know some dogs are like magicians and are very good at reaching things anywhere) If you have any questions or would like any other information please let me know anytime. About: Hi!! I’m Michele and I live in a townhouse community in North Potomac/Gaithersburg, adjacent to the Kentlands. I have owned rescue dogs for 30 years, and I have always chosen dogs that are “hard to adopt” due to having a traumatic history, having accompanying anxiety or other behavioral challenges, and/or being a wrongly stigmatized breed. All of my dogs have been mixed breeds — a Doberman mix, a Shepherd mix, a Rottweiler mix, a Pitbull mix, a Mini Pin mix, and a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I have also been helping my daughter over the past two years with her growing petsitting business. I have spent much of my career as a consulting writer and communications specialist in the global health and international development field, and have mostly worked from home. Due to recent changes in the federal government, most U.S.-based professionals in this field lost employment in 2025, and I am taking the opportunity to branch into more entrepreneurial paths that speak to my other personal passions. I always make sure my dogs (and yours!) have plenty of exercise, water, and hugs! And of course food and any medications according to your exact instructions. When I walk dogs, I am conscious of allowing them to have ample time to sniff and explore, as this gives them the mental exercise they need and tires them out for good naps during the day. I also love to give dogs play time in fenced yard/areas with any balls/toys they enjoy. I am available for walks at any time of the day, as well as housesitting in your home (or my home if you prefer!) when you are away! I am also happy to care for cats and any other pets. Thanks so much for considering me, and I hope to meet you and your best friend(s) soon! I’m currently rebuilding my career from scratch and have plenty of time for pet care! The work paths that I am building will all be mostly work-from-home. I will provide long and short walks, additional exercise in fenced areas, water, food, and medications! I am forever a dog-on-the-furniture/bed person but will happily respect your wishes if you prefer not to allow that. I will also provide crate training if desired! I currently do not have dogs living with me full time, but my daughter has two dogs and can bring them to my house anytime if you would like some social time built in.

About: I’ve been a dog owner for 12 years, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and keeping a consistent routine. I’m patient, attentive, and love giving dogs plenty of attention and affection. While I’m new to Rover, I’m excited to provide the same loving care I gave my own dog. I recently graduated and currently have a very flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the day and most days of the week. I’m able to spend a lot of time with your pet and can accommodate their individual routine, whether that means morning or evening walks, frequent potty breaks, meals, playtime, or plenty of attention and cuddles. Since I’m not working a traditional full-time schedule, I can be flexible with drop-off and pick-up times and am happy to work around your pet’s needs. I’m able to provide pets with plenty of supervision and attention throughout the day. I live in a three-story townhouse with my mom and brother, who both love dogs, and we have a fenced backyard. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions you provide, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and medications if needed. I’m also comfortable caring for pets in their own home and will always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being.

About: Family love!! We now own a Bugg (boston terrier/pug mix) named Moxie who is 4 and previously owned a rescue pug named Rosie who lived to be 15. We have a single family home and large fully fenced in yard and love pet sitting all our neighbors' pets! We also have three boys (ages 5, 9, 12) who are comfortable around pets and love to play with them. My husband and I both telework so someone is home every day of the week. Either my husband or I am home every day. We typically walk our Bugg, Moxie, 3 times a day and also have a large fully fenced yard for her to play. Our current dog, Moxie, is free to roam our house all day and she sleeps in our son's room at night in her doggie bed. We don't mind dogs on our furniture or in any room, but can also provide separation or crating if desired.
